This was wonderfully done, it had everything that I was looking for from a Gothic novel. I thought it worked as a backdrop to Hollywood and was invested in Henry’s story. It had a element of realism and was engaged with what was happening. It uses that element in a way and had that suspenseful feel that I wanted. I enjoyed the way Lee Lindauer wrote this.
