Eh. Not my favorite Misadventures book.

Sorry for the delayed review. I have been working this year to catch up on my netgalley backlog. I appreciate the opportunity to read this story.

Misadventures on the Night Shift is a good fit for those seeking a steamy, fast-paced romance that explores themes of desire, intimacy, and the unexpected thrills of a spontaneous, passionate encounter.

I did NOT expect the emotions I got with this story!! This was one of my first misadventures books and I was totally expecting a funny romcom and this was loaded with that too but also emotion and real life problems and situations! It was amazing it ripped you apart and stitched you back together again before it was over! Just perfect!

I loved this book, it’s insanely hot and naughty and fun to read.

There’s more than hotness though, there’s humour and feelings and it all wraps up into one perfect book.

It kept me hooked from first to last page, I couldn’t put the book down

Lauren is a truly amazing author and her books are always, always amazing.

I read up until a certain part of the book but couldn't read it much further. The character of the heroine seemed inconsistent when she was with the hero versus the rest of the characters. This one was not my favorite misadventure book. However, the parts I read was well written.

This was so good! Super sexy and a tad bit raunchy but in a good way. I wasn’t expecting the story i read but I’m not mad about it. It’s a book you don’t want to stop reading.

I loved beyond words the Misadventures series! The banter & chemistry was off the charts!!! I laughed so much while reading Misadventures on the Night Shift!

Steamy, naughty and a sexy novel that's a good read, but I don't think Lauren Rowe can top her previous books.

This was a decent story and I somewhat enjoyed both the hero and the heroine, Lucas and Abby. However, nothing really stood out making it a great book.

This book actually blew me away a little. I loved the romance, the storyline, the songs and of course - how hot it was! Highly recommend!

Not my favorite in the series - I'm not sure what rubbed me the wrong way exactly. I didn't like the male character and I think I could've liked the female lead if we had gotten a little deeper into her issues instead of just focusing on the salaciousness of it all.

I like a rock star romance so this had a few things going for it from the start. Sexy and fun, this Misadventures book will have you looking for a job working the night shift at the local hotel.

Another hot adventure in this Misadventures series. A strong female heroine and a male led that is more than just a prop for the story make this book worth reading. It is quite possibly one of the best in the series, if not the best.

It took me a while to get to this book because I just kept putting it off for some reason. Well i finally got to it and honestly I feel kind of let down. The story was great, steamy and the characters were well developed but it felt like everything just wrapped up too neatly too quickly and it didn't flow with the rest of the story. I also felt like there were things that were unresolved. Overall I was just disappointed. 3 stars

This book was steaming HOT! I have never read this author before and it was fun to get a new person to follow.

Bad boy rock star, Lucas who has lost is real voice in becoming famous and can have any woman he wants and meets the woman who changes everything for him when in Denver after a concert gone bad.

Abby, who is working herself through law school is the night front desk employee who goes toe to toe with Lucas. She holds him accountable and will. not let him treat her like he does his other followers. This interests him and sparks fly..... an interesting request from Lucas, has Abby thinking maybe his request could be a good thing for her.... Little does she know, she will change his life for the better and lose herself in the process.... or does she?

to truly love someone, you have to let them go and see if they come back.....

I loved this story - ass kicker!! This is one of my favorite books so far in the misadventure series.
Hotel clerk Abby Medford has always enjoyed the quiet solitude of the night shift. The long, boring hours allow her time to study her law books. But when bad-boy-rocker Lucas Ford checks into the penthouse suite one night and demands Abby personally deliver his room service request, her formerly quiet nights are quickly filled with Lucas's erotic games.
But as Abby soon learns, if she thinks she can indulge her innermost desires with Lucas without giving him her heart, she's dead wrong

Another amazing book in the Misadventures Series!!! I have enjoyed them all so far!!! Read them all and enjoy!!! I look forward to the next book in the series!!!

From the start I was completely on board with the fact that Abby was working her way through law school as a night time clerk at a hotel. I was even okay when it was thrown out there that Abby was being thrown to the wolves of life by her parents because they snobby jerks. Enter Lucas this rock star that just had a meltdown on stage when he gets the read the riot act by Abby in the hotel lobby. Lucas likes Abby's sassy and Abby has fantasized about Lucas much of her life so when the two collide they set the hotel on fire! Most of the story was smokin’ hot but then it tried to be something different and I think that is where Lauren Rowe and this story lost me.

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!

I feel like I say this about every one of the Misadventures books I read. But it's true for all of them haha.

And Night Shift was no exception.
i love a good rock star book. And man did Lucas deliver.

I loved the mind games between him and Abby. And man was this book HOTT haha.

There was so much chemistry even right off the bat between the two and I loved seeing how that ebbed and flowed as the story kept going. I could honestly live with like 3 more books of these two haha.

Once again I was left with a book that seemed impossible to put down until the last page. And in my normal bookish ways I stayed up ridiculously late, sacrificing sleep and attention in classes the next day to recuperate (Totally worth it 😜)
