As a reader, the very first book I've read was THE CLIENT by John Grisham which is a crime mystery novel filled with investigations and court dramas. And I was just 8 years old that time. Needless to say, it was a genre inappropriate in my age. Why am I saying this? Well, because I really wished I found a book like FALL FROM GRACE that time because this one I think is more suited to young people who love the genre I really loved since I was a kid.

The story follows Zoe after the death of her Aunt. Having been the one who discovered the body, Zoe was convinced it was murder and she was set to investigate. But she wasn't prepared to the revelations that soon engulfs her. She might not have really known her aunt at all who has a really good reputation in town.

Like I said above this is perfect for young minds. The writing, the plot points that really mattered seemed taken to consideration so they appeal even to the youngest readers. The development was just in the the right pace, revealing things little by little making it easy to turn the pages with excitement. But even though I said, it seemed written for young people, I couldn't help but enjoy reading it and I'm 25 years old.

Yep, when did I grow old?

The characters were fine. I honestly thought I would be annoyed at Zoe because she's too young right? And she's butting to things she shouldn't but I found her believable and reasonable. Despite her age, her actions seemed realistic even though her mission isn't really for a teen.

Overall, I recommend this to young people who love the genre I loved since I was a kid. :)

This book is listed as an adult mystery, at least on Netgalley. Definitely not, very juvenile. I did finish the book, seeing as I started. It was a good story, cute I'd say.
