This was a brilliant read. As soon as I started reading this book I just knew I was going to love it. Highly recommended

My Review:
Wow, wow, wow!!!!! I’m speechless!!!!! What a story this one was. What you think you know, you really don’t know. There are definitely two sides to every story. I loved that about this book. It was broken up into parts. Each part had a different story then the very last part merged the whole story together to get to that twisted ending. I couldn’t believe what happened. Everyone got their just desserts. I can’t wait to read another book by this author.

In conclusion, the plot, the characters and all the twists in this book made this book an enjoyable read. I would definitely recommend it and happily give it 5 Hearts❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

If you are a fan of psychological thrillers, then this book is one for you to read. After reading the publishers blurb, I was hooked and so began me waiting to see if my request would be approved. When it was, I began reading and reading and reading until sometime around 3 am when I finished. I could not stop. The writers ability to keep the story suspenseful is amazing. The story starts with Meg as she arrives home hoping to see her husband, Luke, and their two children. Unfortunately, when she arrived no one was home. There was note that said they had gone for a walk. After waiting long enough, Meg goes looking for them but to no avail. Calling the police is her only option now, but that will mean having to explain some marital problems. Things she wants to keep secret. Where could her family be? Well written with great detail and a plot that thickens as you read further. My heart was pounding as I got closer to the end. What I thought would happen was definitely not the case. I was blown away by the ending. You will be rooting for different characters and wondering what was going to happen next so much that you just have to finish it. This book deserves a 10.

Thank you to netgalley as well as the author/publisher for allowing me to read this book in exchange for my honest review.

I liked this book. Rona had me guessing the whole way through. Some sections were a bit unbelievable but I still liked it. A story filled with twists to keep you on your toes. Ronas writing style flowed which helped keep the interest. I look forward to reading more of her books.

would like to thank netgalley and the publisher for letting me read this disturbing book

wow where to start...

a whirlwind romance....
until the cracks start to show....

a family farm
ruled by an iron fist...

there were two stories being told here with a similar thread through both... this book will hit every nerve with anyone going through any sort of abusive behaviour, but on the whole this was well written and seemed to manage the abuse well

didnt quite see the ending coming but as it went on i did begin to wonder...a fairly quick read...you just have to feel sorry for the children....

brilliantly written on a subject that can cause heartache for families, but there is help out there for anyone going through this

For people who figure twists easily, this will be one where you can figure it out early on, but you still want to know what will happen. I thought I knew what was going to happen and was mostly right, but I didn't waste any time here... It's still a good read.

Thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for a copy of the ARC. I ended up listening to this one Scribd and thought the audiobook narrator, Katherine Press, did a great job.

2.5 A decent psychological thriller with good writing and good pacing. The lower rating because I could see the twists.

I absolutely loved this book. Just as soon as you think you have the plot figured out, it goes in totally a different way, and I didn't see the final plot twist coming. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed the premise, but I felt as though the storyline was lacking in oomph. I was impressed by the development of the characters and the way the author connected each event to the overall premise of the book.

This was a great read. Fast paced and engrossing. It captured my attention from the first page and I raced through it enjoying every word. The story twists and turns in unforeseeable ways and just when you think you've got a handle on what's going on, the author throws you a curve ball. A difficult subject, delicately handled in a credible and thoughtful way. Highly recommended.

Suspenseful, intense and breath-taking Love You Gone was such a fantastic psychological thriller. I was completely hooked and literally could NOT put this book down! I read it in less than two days because I had to know what would happen next. I had to know his side and her side of the story. Who was telling the truth? The twists and turns of the journey this novel will take you on will keep you guessing until the very end. This was my first encounter with this author and I am definitely interested in reading more of her stories. Thank you NetGalley for the review copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

A great psychological thriller here,
Mel arrives in the Lakes at the holiday expecting to find her husband Luke and the two children waiting for her, but their not there and all she finds is a note saying they've gone for a walk. However hours later they don't come back.

So begins the search is on to find her family, Are they lost? Where have they gone? Why would they just up and leave? Have they had an accident or has something even worse happened?

You’ll have to read and find out, a fast paced novel with plenty of twists and turns to keep you entertained, I loved it and read it in two sittings whilst trying to figure it all out. Full of secrets and lies it’s a perfect read for long night in front of the fire.

As soon as I finished The Honeymoon and realized that Love you Gone was sitting in my to-be-read pile, I pulled up that one on my Kindle app....and read it almost straight through. (The family was watching a marathon of old Godzilla movies and didn't miss me at all.)

In this one, a woman arrives late at the rental cottage where she's supposed to meet her husband and children. They've left things strewn all over the rooms and a note saying they went out for a walk and will be back soon. It's several hours before Mel runs out of potential explanations and decides to start calling local emergency rooms and restaurants to see if she can find them on her own. Finally, she calls the local police. She doesn't tell them everything about her family, not at first. With two unreliable narrators, this one kept me guessing and unsure whose version of the events to trust.

My first introduction to the author and I'm excited to read more in the future. Totally gripped from the very beginning, couldn't put it down! The book is in several parts and by the time it had moved from part one to part two, I had already changed my mind about the characters. The ending was a great twist, was genuinely surprised.

‘Hello? Police? My husband and our children… they’re gone.’

When Mel arrives at the holiday cottage in the Lake District, she expects to find the heating on and her husband Luke and the two children waiting for her. Maybe a bottle of wine open…

Instead, there is just a note on the side, saying they’ve gone out for a walk.

But they aren’t back several hours later, and Mel knows something is wrong. Really wrong. When a search doesn’t find them, she has to confess to the police that her marriage isn’t all that it seems.

Even if that risks her own secrets being revealed…

****

So. Whilst I did find this book a good read, I have to admit to being slightly confused by how I feel after I've read it. This was a good story, however there was something about it that just didn't flow for me and it seemed to be quite disjointed.
