Thank you to NetGalley for providing me a free copy for an honest review.

This book is very insightful and instructional. The lessons given are based on scripture.. I loved Anne's stories of her own struggles. Many times we view this type of person as someone above the troubles we all experience. But since she is a daughter of God and works for Him, Satan works over time to hinder her goals.. But he doesn't succeed. In the back of the book, she has many guidelines for us to follow to take action to improve our own lives. This is a book that you'll want in paper rather than an ebook. You'll want to be able to flip readily to a chapter or section to reread and absorb.

If you're a follower of Jesus who wants to learn more about the Holy Spirit's role in the life of the believer, or if you're a new believer and you're not sure how the Holy Spirit works, then Anne Graham Lotz's new book, Jesus in Me, is the perfect read. Lotz tackles the subject of the indwelling Holy Spirit in the believer's life, helping readers understand how the Holy Spirit, as a constant companion, transforms a believer's life from mundane to extraordinary. Mixing biblical references with personal stories, Lotz provides readers with practical pictures of the biblical concepts she teaches. The focus of most of the book is learning about the Holy Spirit's names, roles, and activities in the life of the believer, but she also tackles a couple of difficult subjects--how to hear the Holy Spirit, and how to be filled and stay filled with the Holy Spirit. (Note that Lotz unashamedly takes the mainline evangelical viewpoints here.) I highly recommend this book for anyone wanting to learn more about the Holy Spirit in the believer's life. You won't be disappointed in this easy-to-read and down-to-earth manual for everyday people.

Note: I received a copy of this from the publisher through NetGalley in exchange for this honest review. The opinons expressed, however, are entirely my own.
