Mary Sue MC. Obligatory passionless romance (and a love triangle). Too many unanswered questions. The premise sounds unique but unfortunately only barely masks that this has many of the same old tropes underneath.

Was not able to read this book before it expired. I believe I would have liked it based on the synopsis.
