The sheikhs rescued baby by Leslie North

After her fathers death the only way Aisha Shadari can rule her kingdom is to find a husband. The only prospect in the timescale is playboy Prince Nadim Hasan from a near kingdom. This story follows their journey will they both be able get over the hurdles to do this and make it work and be happy?

Enjoyable quick read good mix 4/5

Leslie saved the best for the last one in the Hasan Sheikh's series. After Zayid and Yaseem where happily married, all the focus was on Nadim to get himself a wife. To show his parents that he is not only a playboy, Nadim agrees to meet Aisha. Aisha is in search of a husband, who will let her rule her kingdom. Nadim certainly doesn't fit the bill, so she sends him away. He gets stuck in Kendah after a storm however. While Aisha is working very hard to restore her kingdom, Nadim can't help but admire her. She needs a husband according to her laws, but she is very capable of ruling her kingdom with compassion and wisdom. But time is running out for Aisha: if she doesn't find a husband in the very near future, then her incompetent cousin will rule.
Nadim is conflicted: should he stay and marry Aisha to help her out? Or can he leave her behind? When an unexpected baby is in need of rescue, Nadim steps up next to Aisha to save the baby. And when Aisha is determined to adopt the baby, Nadim must make a choice... Five out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

This is Aisha and Nadim’s story. Aisha has a short amount of time after the death of her father to find a husband. Thanks to an old law if she wishes to be the Sultana of her country she needs a man to do so. No one is measuring up but she will work just as hard to find someone.

Nadim is her last Hope. He’s known for being a playboy but he’s not as bad as the media plays him out to be and is sent to see if he will fit Aishas life by his parents. He doesn’t want to get married unless it’s for love, and he has t quite found his calling in life yet. But his tour with Aisha will shake up his life and not just because of the storm that’s coming.

Add in a baby they are bringing back to the capital to find a new home for, these two are in for a wild ride and just romantically. When feelings happen but Nadim still isn’t convinced he can marry her can they still survive if they lose it all?

It was a good read and I enjoyed it a lot.

The Sheikh's Rescued Baby is book three in this series by Leslie North. You could easily read it as a stand-alone.
I read all three and I loved them all.

Aisha is the Sultana of Kendah, she needs to get married after her father's death or her cousin would take over the Kingdom. Aisha is determined to find someone to marry so she will not lose the Kingdon that she loves and dedicated so much time to. It is her life and she loves the people. Prince Nadim is the youngest son from the kingdom of Raihan. He agreed to spend a week with Aisha touring her country, mostly to make his parents happy. They want him to marry into another royal family, as his brothers did not. Nadim has a reputation of being nothing more than a playboy.

As Aisha and Nadim start to spend time together it seems like it just wasn't going to work out for them. They both built "walls" around their feeling. Before anything could ever come of them they would need to take these walls down.

The story takes us on a journey, shows us about finding love when you least expect it and don't want it.

Received an ARC from Nethalley in return for an honest review.

I know this is romantic fiction and we are meant to suspend disbelief but I do wish writers of stories set in the Middle East would try and respect the reality of most sheikhdoms.
I understand why religion is rarely mentioned, but the reality is that 99% of Sheikhdoms are Muslim and therefore do not drink alcohol. Yet there always scenes where the h/H enjoy drinking wine.
The plot premise attracted me but the execution disappoints. This was mainly due to the heroine.
I found Aisha a blank character and could not take to her. She sought for a husband - a man who would not be interested in sharing power and who would be prepared to butt out as she required. That was unrealistic and in view of the pressure of the possibility of Jamad inheriting, both unreasonable and picky. She makes no effort to attract a husband and seems unable to compromise to achieve her goal. The sex scene comes out of nowhere.
She goes from being a prissy little princess to a full on sexual player in a heartbeat and there was no real indication of growing love on her part.
Her behaviour towards Nadim at the end was deeply unpleasant and quite frankly I had no idea why he’d love her or want to marry her. She was deeply unpleasant and caught up in herself

. I guess it’s a tribute to the writer that she engaged me so much - but sadly I did not enjoy the story and I actively disliked the heroine. Nadim was lovely.

I loved this book very much !!

Aisha is the sultana of her country, well she is, but she has a limited time to it, since her father is dead, she need to find a husband to keep her throne, if not, her cousin will be the next sultan, and it would be really bad !!
When she'll meet Nadim, she doesn't think he's the one, but time is running and she need someone !!

Nadim's parents are pushing him to marry, but he doesn't even know what he want to do with his life !!

Aisha and Nadim were great together and when Kadyme arrived, I knew that the three of them were a thing !!

This was a quick read that I thoroughly enjoyed. One of those "feel good" sweet romances with a little bit of everything mixed in.

Thank you to the author and NetGalley for the opportunity to review a copy of this book.

The playboy prince and the sultana who takes her responsibilities seriously. Great story... Loved the baby! Too cute! I had to read the book until I finished it all

Aisha lost her father and she has a year to find a husband or her cousin will rule the kingdom.
Nadim is visiting Aisha, but he doesn't want to marry, unless is to marry because you love someone.
While they spend time together and learn more about each other, their feelings grow.
Add a baby to mix and you have a wonderful story.

Third and last of this series. We have the third brother (all these sheikh books have three brothers and unfortunate titles) do not judge these books by the title or cover. This is a good read, there’s is drama, angst, romance and steam. This whole series is a good beach read. Add this to your TBR list.

Prince Nadim, the third son of Raihan, is going to the kingdom of Kendah to discuss marrying Sultana Aiha Shadari. She has to get married to retain her throne. The problem is that Prince Nadim wants to figure out what to do with his life before he settles down and gets married. This story did a great job of developing a relationship between Nadim and Shadari. I enjoyed their caring personalities and how they interact with each other. All three of the books in this series were quick reads that also had good character development. I am looking forward to more books by Leslie North.

What a good Leslie North story. One Sultana who needs to marry to keep a cousin from destroying her country, one Prince who doesn't know what he wants out of life, so he says he won't marry until he figures it out. When a storm hits he has to stay longer and pitches in to help. Then she gets quite angry with him and kicks him out of the country. Once home, he is lost, but his brothers set him straight. He just had to look inward to figure out what he wanted.
I got this book from NetGalley for an honest review

My heart practically broke for Aisha. Nadim isn't ready to settle down and Aisha is being forced to. She just lost her father and then she has to let the man that she chooses for Sultan walk away.
First book that I've read with a Sultana. Quite unique all the way through. The Sheikh's Rescued Baby, has a great happy ending.

Leslie North consistently brings great characters and passionate romance to life. As a big fan of North's, her name provokes an automatic one-click from me. I am always entertained. Highly recommend.
