"Calling in 'The One'" by Katherine Woodward Thomas is a must-read for anyone seeking to find deep, fulfilling love. As a licensed marriage and family therapist, the author brings a wealth of expertise and compassion to this updated classic on manifesting a life-altering relationship.

The book's central premise is that by addressing our inner obstacles and shifting our mindset, we can attract the loving partner we desire. Through a 49-day program of daily lessons, practices, and journal exercises, Thomas empowers readers to release their hidden barriers to love and cultivate the ideal state of mind to find their "One." Her guidance on using the Law of Attraction is both practical and inspirational, offering a life-affirming philosophy on relationships.

What sets this book apart is its holistic approach. Thomas doesn't just provide dating tips or relationship advice - she delves into the deeper emotional and spiritual work required to manifest lasting love. Her transformative exercises, such as powerful visualizations and clarifying journal prompts, guide readers on a journey of self-discovery and growth. By the end of the program, I felt more self-aware, confident, and open to the possibility of finding my own "One."

Whether you're frustrated by past relationship patterns or simply yearning for a deep, committed partnership, "Calling in 'The One'" is a invaluable resource. Thomas' warm, encouraging voice and the book's easy-to-follow structure make it an accessible and life-changing read. I highly recommend this book to anyone seeking to create the love they desire.

This book is absolutely incredible! I found out so much about myself during this 7-week period. I read the book and then am going to go back through the exercises referencing key passages and quotes I read that I liked.

It really can change your life and perspective about yourself. The biggest downfall of the book? It markets such that it’s only about finding a relationship - and it’s about so much more! This is about who you are, what you need from relationships and learning from others stories.

This is a reprint of the original - the cover is aesthetically more pleasing, however it appears to be a female mostly book. I wish it could have been a tad more gender neutral in design.

The examples do reference quite a bit about God - if you’re not religious, she adds a note in the beginning to interchange the word however I imagine that will be hard.

Overall, one of my favorite books of 2021 so far!

Thanks netgalley for allowing me an advanced copy, all opinions are my own.
