This book is packed with information as all of Pinker's books are. He defines rationality, how we have what we need of it within ourselves, and how we do not access it often enough, but how we may be able to. An important read.

Honestly, I'm still digesting the information. Pinker asserts that humans are inherently rational, but that we fail to use the rationality we have at our fingertips - the causal inferences, logic, critical thinking, and other skills we've built through the millennia. Recommended for public libraries.
