I loved the disclaimer in the beginning of the mention of certain subjects that could be sensitive to readers. This book was very well written. The setting in the book takes place on the East Coast. Characters Monroe is a stubborn girl that has a heart of gold that has been badly bruised. Ethan has had his whole life turned upside down. Roberts family has a personality all of their own. Uncle Jacob is a sweetheart. Big Frank and Darlene are characters in themselves. This story is about broken hearts, start overs ,love , forgiveness and mystery. Can a heart be healed. Are you the same person if a shocking truth comes to light about your life? Is forgiveness possible and who makes a family? This is for a mature reader but can be read anytime.

Ethan Hammersmith left Australia for the US to hopefully find relatives from his father’s family. All he has is the name of the man that was his father. Yes, was, as in past tense. As his mother was dying, she told him the truth about his past. He grew up thinking the man he called Dad, wasn’t in fact his real father. He felt betrayed by both of them and went on a search all over the country trying to connect the dots so he could have some closure. Arriving in Forever Falls, Massachusetts in winter, is not a pleasant experience. Eathan has a feeling that this is where he will find the answers he’s looking for. The fact that he has a strong resemblance to Chris Hemsworth, is his downfall, specially since Eathan wants to be low key.

Monroe Roberts has been working at the only diner in town since she was in high school. Since her life went down the toilet, after she caught her husband cheating with her cousin, she has closed herself and become a bitter person she doesn’t recognize. Deciding that she will never fall in love again and let someone step all over her, Monroe doesn’t date. When a sexy stranger walks into the diner, she welcomes the business. That is until all the women in town start hanging out at the diner just to ogle him, without buying anything. The women believe that he is the real Chris Hemsworth, no matter how many times he corrects them. When Monroe comes up with a plan that could benefit them both, pretend they are a couple. She will help him find information about his father and this will get her family off her back about starting to date again. Pretending is great until neither one is pretending anymore. They both know Eathan will be returning back to Australia at some point, so where will that leave them.

This book will pull your heartstrings and put a smile on your face. I loved it!

Forever Starts Now is a beautiful uplifting story about two relationship scarred people that enter into a fake relationship to help each other. He is searching for his birth father; she is trying to revive the diner where she works. What ensues is a story about what constitutes family and setting aside old habits that constrict growth. The plot moves along seamlessly with lots of humor as fake becomes real. This truly is a joy to read. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book from NetGalley. Most highly recommend.

Loved this read. Wonderful when two characters are trying to find themselves and end up finding each other. An easy book to get lost in whether you are at home reading in bed or on a long commute. I don’t like to give spoilers on the books that I read. I believe the blurb on the back is enough for you to decide if you will read the book or not. If you choose to read, enjoy!

This was a nice romance novel with likeable characters. The setting sounds like a lovely place to live, where everyone knows your name. It’s a great little book to read in the beach or for a quick getaway from life. There is some humour which is always a good addition.

The manager has her own story as a divorcee whose ex ran off with the local yoga instructor, so she is weary of love. She needs to draw more business at the diner as she fakes a relationship with the stranger.

But will they end up falling for each other as they spend more time together? It is a sweet HEA that will draw you in with a handsome cowboy.

A cute story in a small town setting, featuring vibrant characters, “Forever Starts Now”, by Stefanie London (Entangled: Amara), is an enjoyable, quick read.
Ethan and Monroe are great characters, both with baggage and hiding a lot of hurt, but also so full of life and energy.
There’s a sadness in Ethan’s life that is so touching, yet he’s such a tender, passionate man, and so considerate with the heroine. I loved his personality: a charmer, a teaser, and such a goodhearted person.
I also loved how the author depicted Monroe’s traumatic experiences and how she recovered with Ethan´s help.
I liked the openness and sincerity between Ethan and Monroe, too.
I found some aspects, like the women gawking at Ethan and going to the diner because of him, a bit silly and overdone.

Wow, this one was intense. Ethan and Monroe both have a more or less traumatic relationship background and have given up on finding love. Furthermore both have big but very different family issues and that makes both characters so realistic and complex that you just feel with them. Combined with a creative storytelling, funny and steamy moments this book got me hooked.

Stefanie London's FOREVER STARTS NOW delivers a deeply moving love story between a Chris Hemsworth/"Thor" look-alike in search of birth father and a baking competition show winner struggling in the wake of a devastating divorce. This "fake dating" romance not only tugs at the reader's heartstrings, but it also tickles their funny bone as the couple strives to avoid bored small-town busybodies. London's dialogue is particularly noteworthy. Her prose impart insights into love and life - the most important one being that you have the power to create the life you want with the people you choose.

I love small town settings. It creates an atmosphere with some really great side characters that add to the story. You get all that with Forever Starts Now. For me, I had trouble connecting with the main characters. I liked the story, it was good but this is just one of those cases where the decisions/reactions made by both main characters when they were hurt in the past, kept me from really connecting with these two. I just didn't understand the extreme reactions. Unfortunately, it can be something as small as that that can take a potentially great book into just a good book. I really enjoy this authors writing and still enjoyed everything else about this book. I kind of wish this was a series. Monroe's sisters relationships were interesting to me and would have loved to see their story as well.

Great storyline! It does have some parts with terrible language and the romance parts are a bit too steamy for my taste, but I just quickly scrolled past and focused on the development of the characters and the love story. It’s an overall sweet story - the language left me a little “meh” as I didn’t think it was necessary. The steam is a little much so just plan on turning the pages and reading the great story behind it.

I love Stefanie's writing but this book was not one of my favorites. Neither character seemed very hopeful and I had a hard time getting through to the end (I actually skipped the last half to see how it ended!). Stefanie is so talented and tends to write closer to real-life situations - but in this case, it just made me sad. I will also read her books and look forward to what comes next!

Whoa. Stefanie London is becoming one of my absolute fave contemporary romantic authors. This is my third book by her, and she continues to write emotional, realistic, and steamy stories that impress me.

Monroe is a small-town girl with big (hidden) dreams that she puts on hold while she takes care of her ailing father. She is healing from a horrible divorce, and running a restaurant that is going under--fast. Ethan Hammersmith--a Thor-look-alike--is a man chasing a dream that might never exist. Before his mother dies, she reveals the name of a man that is supposedly Ethan's real father, Matthew Brewer. After a year spent looking for every Matthew Brewer he can find, his last lead takes him to the charming tourist town of Forever Falls--and straight to Monroe.

One of my favorite things about London's book is how relatable she writes a heroine. They are flawed, beautiful, tough, and inspiring. Monroe is a great example. Her first marriage resulted in disaster: her husband cheated on her with her cousin. It ended up ripping her family apart, with Monroe's supporter's on one side, and the cousin Amber's supporters on the other. I've had family issues like this, and I appreciate the author's achingly realistic portrayals of imperfect families. I really loved Monroe, To let down her guard and let Ethan into her heart is a big step. I was so proud of her. Her ambition and drive pulled her out of some dark places. Her happing ending is beautiful to see.

I liked Ethan overall as a hero. Even though we are let in on his situation early in the story, I didn't come to truly appreciate how messed up he was until the end. He was LOST. Having his world turned upside down (by learning the man who raised him wasn't his father), his search for some sort of family to ground him is sad to watch. It's heartbreaking. When Monroe and Ethan strike up a deal to help each other out--her to get more customers because of the Hemsworth-looking newcomer, and him to be able to get some info about Matthew Brewer--feels relatable. Getting to know each other was a genuine thing. Her to trust somebody, and him to let kindness in. I loved watching their relationship evolve into love.

Overall, this book was incredible. I love reading London's books; they have a cozy feeling to them, while still handling such raw emotion. This is definitely my favorite book of the author's so far, and I can't wait to read the next thing she writes.

Forever Starts Now is a sweet and charming small town romance written with an ease and simplicity that allows you to slip right in and get comfortable. Ethan Hammersmith and Monroe Roberts aren’t looking for love. Both have been put through some serious heartbreak and come out the other side stronger for it even if they have a few doubts and lost a little bit of themselves in the process. Both Ethan and Monroe are mature, lovable characters that are easy to root for. I loved the sweetness of the romance and their sassy banter. Witnessing them both open up to each other and those around them was a treat. Learning how to trust not only in others but, most importantly, themselves wasn’t easy for either of them. I appreciated the honesty they shared and the communication. They both deserved so much happiness and love and I couldn’t help hoping they got it all. The small town atmosphere is definitely a bonus.

I really enjoyed reading this book, light-hearted, great characters, romantic and family drama.

Oh my! Stefanie London made me feel all the emotions with this book! Her humor filled love story, also pulled at the heart strings. Monroe is a small town girl who need stop be reminded that divorce does not end your life. Ethan needs someone to remind him that family is not always blood related. These two take you on a quick, witty journey through their heart ache, and heart healing paths. This book was so fun to read, and so hard to put down! I would definitely recommend it!

Monroe Roberts is the manager of the diner but is struggling to keep it making enough money to be viable. She’s been burnt in love, after finding her ex-husband was having an affair with her cousin, making her reticent to trust any man. However, when a visiting Australian Ethan Hammersmith eats at the diner, he’s followed by women who seem to think he should be on the menu. The two decide to work together by having a fake relationship enabling him to search for information about his father who he only learnt about from his dying mother and boosting sales in the diner in the process. The only problem with fake relationships is when they start to feel read . . . .

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this romance! It has great characters, family drama, secrets to be uncovered and, of course, romance. Uncovering the past also gives these two the opportunity to look forward to a different future but they’ll both have to put aside their fears if they are to take a chance on love together.
