This novel is Abby Jimenez's best one yet! It feels like a warm hug, like coming home. The charm and witty banter never disappoint. She makes you love all the characters.. Her topics are authentic and real life relatable. I have recommended this novel to friends, family, random people in bookstores and libraries.

Abby has proved herself to me yet again, to be the queen of banter and HEA’s!! I can honestly say she’s my favorite romance author of all time and I will die on that mountain!!

I loved this book so much!! Seriously, I read it in less than 10 hours!! I waited until midnight to download the audiobook because I needed to hear the oh so sexy Zachary Webber voice Daniel!! 💛

Alexis, a 37 year old ER Doctor meets a 27 year old carpenter named Daniel, who cooks, cleans and takes care of a deaf hunting dog named Hunter and the cutest baby goat in pajamas!! I loved their instant chemistry and I was surprised by the steamy scenes!! It’s not as closed door as her other books.

Also, I loved Doug and his pig named Kevin Bacon!! 🐷

And that ring light scene, I’m dead!! 🤣

I didn’t think I could love another Abby book boyfriend as much as I love Josh, but Daniel is giving his cousin a run for his money!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I highly recommend, 10/10!!

TW: emotional and physical abuse and topics of depression and PTSD.

I absolutely love all of Abby's books. The way she connects them all yet they can be read independently of each other without missing too much. This book gives all the feels from crying one minute to laughing the next.

Loved this latest one from Abby Jimenez. From the cute nods to Little Mermaid to the adorable antics of the impossibly sweet Daniel, to the tangential tie-ins to her other novels, it was a fun romp from beginning to end.

Abby Jimenez knows how to grab your attention right from the beginning - the back and forth of the characters/chapters always keeps you on the edge of your seat! The characters are so easy to relate to. This book has the perfect ratio of life, love, romance, and reality; you won't want to set it down until you get to the end!

This book is about Alexis, a well known doctor from a big city, and Daniel, a small town carpenter. This has the going to a small town from a big city trope, and the found family aspect is perfect! This is dual pov which I always love! I love reading what the guy is feeling and thinking -- it's just the sweetest!

I love all of Abby Jimenez's books, and this one was no exception. Abby is so good at writing about hard topics but making it lighthearted which is what I love about her writing. I also always fall in love with her characters. I can't wait to read Bri's story coming next year!

*Check trigger warnings before reading this if you feel you need to.

I gave this book 5 stars!! Everything about it was wonderful.

Thank you to NetGalley for the free preview in exchange for an honest review.

I love Abby Jimenez' work. Her characters are funny and real and relatable. One of my favorite things is how she weaves in the stories of side characters in one book to main characters in the next. Her easter eggs are like little extra gifts mixed into an already delicious experience. Her humor is playful and sassy - her moral compasses are dependable and her friendships are what we all hope for.

This novel is the fourth by this author. It will be welcomed by the fans of her earlier books.

Alexis is an ER doctor. She is having a pretty bad day when the book opens. However, when she meets Daniel, her world could well be about to change. Daniel is a carpenter so perhaps not likely to be endorsed by Alexis’s surgeon parents. Also, there is an age difference between Alexis and Daniel with him being ten years younger than Alexis. Still, this is the world of romance so readers will surely hope for that happy ending.

This looks like it will be an enjoyable read in its full forms. Those who gravitate to women’s fiction and romance titles will want to give this book a look.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Forever Grand Central for this preview. All opinions are my own.

4.5⭐️ I absolutely loved this novel. It follows Alexis Montgomery, a 38 year old physician, who crashes her car into a ditch (careening to avoid a raccoon) on her way home from her aunt’s funeral. A kind (and hot and younger!) local samaritan, Daniel, pulls her out. She walks into the local bar of the small town and the rest is history. A fantastic read which does discuss abuse (emotional and physical), parental approval and dominance, classes of wealth and society and expectations of it all. The characters were lovable and so relatable. So many cute and funny moments. Took me one day to read - I could not put it down! Run, don’t walk, to read this book next! ❤️

Thanks to NetGalley for a preview ARC of this book!

One of my favorite books I’ve read so far this year! As soon as I finished this one I immediately picked up Abby’s first three books and flew through those also. A perfect mixture of romance, comedy and a bit of serious life topics inside. A must read book in my opinion!

Based on this 4 chapter preview I am interested in reading the rest of the book. I love a good hallmark movie, but these feels to be reverse of a typical plot. The FMC is the big city professional who finds love with a small town hero. Within the 4 chapters, I already laughed out loud several times. I really enjoyed the banter between Daniel and Alexis. Based on a few brief interactions it appears Daniel is a soft golden retriever who will do anything to help anyone. His friends seem kind of meh, so I am wondering if that will play a part in the future plot. I can see how falling for Daniel and spending more time in this small town will challenge Alexis, much like Alexis from Schitt's creek. Although I did not get the impression that this Alexis was shallow and flighty. I am anxious for what the rest of the story brings. Thanks for the opportunity to preview this story.

Abby Jimenez delivers again with Part of Your World. It's giving strong mature woman meets yummy (and younger) bearded smalltown hunk. Throw in a baby goat in pajamas and you shouldn't need any more convincing. Get this book now. Oh, you need more? Fine. The dick pick scene! Omg I laughed so hard. It will live in your mind rent-free for a very long time. You will want to tell all your friends about that scene.
Plus you'll want to read this book before Abby's next book comes out which is the story of Bri- Alexis best friend that you'll be introduced to in this book. Once you start ready Abby's books, you're hooked for life. You're welcome.

Abby Jimenez is a genius. Part of Your World is yet another homer from this author I am slowly and steadily consuming all of her work possible. Alexis Montgomery is having a really bad day. Her car has broken down in the middle of bumble-nowhere, is nursing a beer in the local dive bar, and the dude-bro population of the town is eyeing her up and down. When Daniel comes in, the same guy who helped her get her car out of the ditch from earlier, Alexis agrees with him to scam his friends (said dude-bro population in the bar) out of a bet and he takes her home (to sleep, not to bed, Alexis has a boyfriend). Enter a baby goat in pajamas (yes, really) and a gourmet grilled cheese, and the chemistry between Daniel and Alexis officially spikes through the roof and off the charts.

There's only one problem: Alexis has an abusive boyfriend (TW: emotionally and verbally abusive), who's also her boss at the hospital Alexis thrives in, where her family legacy is slowly choking Alexis; Daniel, on the other hand, is the mayor of his town and single-handedly holding together multiple ventures and numerous town citizens with his fingertips. It's a tale as old as time: city girl and country boy.

Daniel and Alexis end up finding ways to maintain their friendship into a relationship, but nothing is ever easy or as cut and dry as Alexis wishes it could be. When their two worlds collide, all bets are off as to whether, when the dust settles, everything will be a happily ever after.

(Spoiler alert: this book is an HEA.)

The banter, the wit, the tackling of serious issues in ways that aren't contrite, Jimenez delivers yet another winner in Part of Your World.

I loved this book. The first few chapters gave me just enough to have me intrigued and I went on to finish this book. I loved the tie in of different locations and lifestyles of the two main characters and this was definitely a romance book that I could not put down.
