I wish I had know about this book when I first started on NetGalley. I found this to be a great source of information with some amazing tips and tricks.

This is a nice guide to writing reviews on Netgalley and sharing reviews via blog posts and through social media outlets.
I liked the formatting. It made the guide easy and quick to read.

This provides a lot of useful tips for new reviewers on how to be approved for ARCs, write informative reviews, and how/where to post those reviews. Very clearcut and concise. I will definitely be keeping many of these tips in mind as I continue to build my book related social media accounts.

I have just recently signed up to Netgalley sand I have just finished reading my first ever ARC. The Book Advocate Toolkit had some really usual advice and how to go about setting up an account, requesting ARCs and how to go about reviewing.

This is a great toolkit to pick up and use immediately to develop reading advocacy skills. It's a document with something to learn for all new reviewers and seasoned readers.
The toolkit is easy to read and follow. Colour, visual prompts, and font size direct the reader to different toolkit sections and provide links for further information.
The toolkit flows well, with information about joining NetGallery, tips about writing book reviews, and tips about using social media to share reviews and books.

I will continue to refer to this toolkit as my journey as a reading advocate progresses.

This is a very helpful and approachable toolkit for starting your journey on NetGalley. When I started last year, I found it quite overwhelming and did not have this toolkit then. As I attempted to try NetGalley again this year, I believe this toolkit is something I will be referring back to and use quite often. The graphics and colours make it a lot more fun and straightforward. I liked that they give you tips on how to up your feedback ratio too.

Easy to read toolkit with useful information to navigate through Netgalley and how the website work.

This toolkit is the perfect resource for NetGalley members! When I first joined NetGalley, I wasn’t sure how to get started and afraid to “make a mistake”. (Recovering perfectionist here 🙋‍♀️) This toolkit provides an excellent overview of what you need to know about NetGalley, with tips for reviewing books, and helpful resources for reviewing on other platforms, like blogs and social media. With links for more info, this is a great for even seasoned NetGalley members to reference as needed. I’m so thankful to have found this toolkit when I did, to help me make the most of my NetGalley account.

does what it says on the tin. most of the content was irrelevant to me, but the section on goodreads was easy to follow and implement. i have a better idea of what is expected of me as a netgalley reviewer, and that's all i wanted out of this document.

I absolutely adore this toolkit. As an influencer who posts on both Instagram and TikTok, this kit highlighted the stark difference of each platform's culture. While Instagram feels more curated and intentional, it's very contrasting to TikTok's fast-moving environment. I have never factored the difference of environment before this, and it's very helpful in helping me decide how I move forward as a content creator for both platforms.

This was a very helpful tool for new reviewers about the organization, review options, and tips to be in good standing for receiving arcs.
