I recommend this Book Club Kit for those who are wanting to read One Last Stop for their book club.

This was very useful for engaging and discussing for book clubs.

This is a really good and useful Book Club kit that will help your book club structure your discussion. If your club is anything like mine, it's easy to veer off topic and descend into general chatter, so a list of insightful and specific questions is always a really big plus!

This kit contains an author interview giving her insights into the novel, as well as a page of really good questions and - most excitingly for me - a recipe for the famous Su special! A really good and fun accompaniment to a really good and fun book.

This book club kit was so interesting because I love connecting the author and the characters. The book club questions made me fall in with the book even more than I had before! I think kits like this are so cool with the playlists, questions, extra reading, and even bookmarks!

This is such a fun, engaging book club kit! I love reading interviews with authors, and hearing about what inspired them to write their novel. The included discussion questions are perfect for encouraging deeper exploration of the book's characters and themes, and I loved how Netgalley began including this in request. Will definitely use in the near future with my very own book club.

Fantastic read and the book club pack was the perfect addition to the book

I'm part of a book club that already opted to read this book, but we never seem to have pre-set discussion questions ready ahead of time. Having this kit ready helped spark some interesting discussions, and revealed things that I don't think we otherwise would have known or thought to look into, like a recipe for the Su Special, and questions that the author would want us to ask!

This book was not at all what I expected! So many twists and turns. There was brilliant LGBTQ representation - which is always welcomed!

This is such a cool concept for favorite books! Now that COVID restrictions have backed off a bit, I hope that in person book clubs become a thing again. I loved the page about content warnings and getting a look into the author's head about the creation of this book was so cool. It would be an excellent addition to a discussion with other people after reading this book!

The interview included is fun to read and gives insight on the book. The suggested questions are quite good to foster discussion! The printable bookmarks were very cute and a nice touch. This is a great book club kit.

Okay, I read this book a while ago and fell in love. the book club kit was truly a wonder to have. I will be taking this to my next book club reading for us to discuss. Love your books and cannot wait to see what you bring to us next.

I love the inclusion of the author interview because it will make for a great discussion with my book club and it adds so much to the story. The thing I was most excited to see was the recipe included. I have always wanted to make food based on the books we read, but it isn't easy to come across recipes for most of the books we have read. I am excited to try this one out. I am excited to come to my book club with these questions -- they will definitely produce some fun talks about the book.

I love this book club kit! It’s the perfect little tool to go along with any discussion following the book as well as potential conversations while reading.

I really enjoyed the interview with Casey McQuiston as she dived further into how she developed the characters of Jane and August as well as the difficulties of writing Jane being stuck in time.

The discussion questions were not only great conversation starters, but also included some fun questions to get any book club laughing! I especially liked thinking about how the other relationships in the book may play out. McQuiston’s suggestion of giving ourselves drag names would spark lots of fun!

Finally, the book recommendations are the end were wonderful. From other romances to other LGBTQ resources I think they were great suggestions and I will definitely be reading one of those suggestions soon.

Overall, I would definitely recommend using this package for any book club discussion about One Last Stop.

As she gets to know Subway girl August learns Jane is displaced in time and she’ll have to use her wits to help Jane and to finally help herself.

All of you have been raving about McQuiston’s books and it was about time I read one. One Last Stop’s paranormal angle was entirely unexpected as I never did read the synopsis, but I slowly found myself getting sucked into the story and all the characters. So far this year these were the most loveable characters I’ve read. Although the book was just a tad long for me I did enjoy it on many levels.

Behind the contemporary setting, the romance, the paranormal, the magic.. this book was a true accolade to the queer community. From the hardships the LGBTQ+ community went through and continues to go through, to the joy and celebration of the queer community, One Last Stop dug into the soul of what Pride means. This book tugged at my heart and please know that my page will always be a safe space for all LGBTQ+ and marginalized peoples.

If I remember correctly, this is my first adult romance (Honey Girl was universally considered alult contemporary, wasn't it?). I do read alot of SFF, and I'm bisexual. It was Pride Month.
So, One Last Stop it was.

Favourite aspect of this book was hands down the found family - a trope always increased in quality when queer. They made this book and really warmed my heart and are the main reason I'm considering getting a physical copy.

The romance itself was also cute. Is there anyone out there who doesn't think that Jane is hot? August was simply very relatable and kind of endearing. Maybe it's because I genuinely enjoy magical realism but I actually liked that aspect of the story. Especially the themes of how things were different int he 70s regarding the LGBTQIA community really moved me and made me appreciate once again how so many brave people paved the way for the rights and freedom I can enjoy as a queer person today.

I dod think that end was abit drawn out, I would have prefered a more open ending. Maybe already with the reunion at Billy's. This way, the last few pages felt more like a post-canon fanfic than the actual book. An earlier end would have had a bigger impact on me.

Still a very cute book that made me cry, blush and smile alot.

This is a great resource for any book club and getting people to talk about the book you have all just read.

The best book club kit I've personally ever seen, will definitely use for my next book club. Wasn't just an interview or questions but also had recipes, bookmarks and playlists! Something that anyone who loved One Last Stop needs to possess a copy of. However, it could have easily been included in the back of the book.

I enjoy the author interviews quite a lot, and the discussion questions were stimulating as well; they really allowed me the opportunity to dig into the story in a way that I hadn't before as I was casually reading. I thought the book suggestions for further reading and #QueerGirlSummer TBR were excellent and on-point. However, the best part was the recipe for the Su Special! This was a tie-in that really worked for me - I could see myself making this for me and my Not So Serious Book Club pals, while crooning along to the included playlist.

Fantastic Book Club Kit per usual!

I knew I had to read this as soon as I found out about it, because "Red, White & Royal Blue" is one of my all time favourites. And the sci-fi twist cought my attention immediately. To be honest, it wasn't as good as RW&RB, but I really enjoyed the book and the premise of time travel.

What I love the most about Casey McQuiston's writing is the ability to portray the complexity and rawness of the characters. Even the ones that aren't the main focus of the story. Although August and Jane are the main characters here, I felt like I knew every single character in this book like family. They were all so charismatic, different in the most beautiful way.

I normally don't ready time travel books but I loved this trope in this one. It kept me on my toes the whole time, because I wanted to know what had happened to Jane and how/and if things are going to resolve. And the chemistry between Jane and August? Out of this world. I couldn't stop smiling everytime those two interacted.

"One Last Stop" was such a cute queer story and I especially value it for the diversity. It made me feel accepted and loved and I hope that everyone who decided to read it will feel the same.

Book Club Kit: One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston by We Are Bookish. Sometimes when I am reading a book I want to get to the end so I can find out what is happening. By going and reading a book club kit I can find out the end of the story and go back and finish the book so that I can take in the details of the book. Brenda Novak’s book group read this book last year as one of their books to read. I had it on my booklist to read. This book club kit is very good and now I will go back and read the book that I am halfway through.
