I requested to read and review this book for free from St. Martin Publishing Company. This book is about forgiveness, acceptance., love and believing in yourself. Things happen in life that we can't understand but need to learn to accept. Ryder had his whole life ripped from him 7 years ago. Can he learn to acceptance and how to love again. Lorri thought life was going to go one way turns out she needs a new plan for life. Can they both overcome a tragedy and look to the future? Their families/friends have their back no matter what! This is for any type of reader and can be read anywhere.

This book is about a woman in a marriage going no where and a man who has lost of his wife and his son. Neither is looking for a relationship, both are content in their lives until they unexpectedly meet. Lorri has moved herself to a new town after her divorce. She has a beautiful new home with Mister her oversized dog. This is the last thing her husband gave her and the best gift she could have. She also has family issues with losing her brother. Ryder is well connected with his community and with family. They both find a friendship they didn't expect. This book was a great read and I enjoyed the connection with the families and characters.

A second chance at love (even though maybe it is really a first chance at TRUE love), a new beginning, a huge dog, a wonderful accepting community, good friends, what more can you ask for in a fabulous story? Okay, maybe a cowboy and couple of horses also!

This is an easy to read, heartwarming story that will make you feel all warm and fuzzy. I adore all the characters that Nancy Naigle created. She does have a special quality that makes them so human to me, that I feel like I am reading about friends and not characters in a book. I really liked that a few of the characters from her book, Out of Focus (An Adams Grove Novel Book 2) appeared in this book. (I read the Adams Grove series and enjoyed them all!)

The plot is somewhat predictable, but if you read enough romance books, they usually are, because unlike in real life, they all end very happily, which is why I chose to read them! While within a romance book, I can escape life and believe that maybe everything will work out fine.

A huge thank you St. Martin's Press, St. Martin's Griffin and NetGalley for giving me the immense pleasure of reading the advance reader copy, with no obligation to write a review. My review is written freely as a hobby, and is totally my own opinion, not influenced by receiving the ARC.

This is a sweet novel almost a smidge too on the Hallmark side of things for my tastes but still a lovely tale to get lost in. I saw some of the plot points coming from a mile away but still enjoyed letting the stories be told as they were. I was really charmed by Lori and her grit after such a crappy turn in life and how she made the best of it.

Thank you to NetGalley and St Martin's Press for an eARC copy of this novel in exchange for my honest review.

I requested a digital advanced readers copy from NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press and providing my opinion voluntarily and unbiased.

Synopsis: Two people get a second chance at love. Our main characters Lori and Ryder come from heavy past trauma and are looking for a way to move on. Lori moves from a big city to a small town for quiet living, to start over. Ryder lives in this small town and runs a business. How can they move forward in their lives. Can they forge a friendship, or maybe more?

My Thoughts: This absolutely reminded me of a Hallmark Christmas Movie, which by the way, I absolutely adore. This is a first time author for me, but will not be the last time, I will be going through her backlog to add books to my TBR. Ryder is a country man and has suffered a terrible tragedy. Lori suffered devastating heartbreak. How they met is so sweet and enduring. After the chance meet, they decided to build a friendship, I do not want to give any more as I do not want to spoil for other readers. The characters are well developed, have layers of depth to them, are creative, have an instant connection, are likable, are relatable, and the supporting characters are well done, as well, really contributes to the story. The author’s writing style is complex, invoking, captivating, emotional, and brilliant. The description of the scenes, of the characters is so amazingly done that you felt like you were right there with the characters, envisioning what they are going through. The plot is well built and this has a fantastic ending. I highly recommend picking up this story of redemption, forgiveness, love, and hope that comes out later this year!

This author is fairly new to me, and I can't wait to read more of her books. This book had all the down home country feels for me. When Lorrie leaves her busy city life to move to a new house in a quiet, farm town, she's not sure how she'll like it since she's a city girl through and through. She figures she'll try it for a year or so to get some quiet time before she moves. However, getting acquainted with this small town is exactly what she needs. She has no plans of anything when she is rescued from a runaway bull at the fair by Ryder, the local resident, who's a very quiet no nonsense person. He has painful baggage that makes him a very private person. Lorrie, having her own baggage, completely relates to wanting to be left alone. Can they become friends without stirring up a lot of unhealed wounds from their past hurts? This booked grabbed me from the first page. I read it in one day because I didn't want to put it down. Great characters and storyline! I wanted to climb through the book and give "Mister" a big hug! ❤️

Wow! What a heart wrenching story of loss, love and learning to trust and love again. Lori and Ryders story will grab you from the beginning and you won’t want to put it down until the story ends and leaves you wanting more. Thank you NetGalley and Nancy Naigle for allowing me to read and review this very special story. I loved it!

This is a good story about a woman rebuilding her life after divorce. She encounters a number of hurdles that help make her stronger while starting over in a small town. Well written and a very good book.

This book was sweet and predictable. It had some heavy moments, but enough happened to keep it light. I enjoyed the characters and the setting. Nothing really stood out to me though, which is why I didn’t give a higher rating. But nothing was wrong with the book either.

I absolutely adore Nancy Naigle stories. They are perfect when you want something sweet and clean. The story line is real, believable, and makes me trust that the kind of love she describes actually can happen in real life. There is no drawn out drama, over the top sex scenes, or extra long explanations. Her books are sweet, swoony, and heart thumping lovely.
I received a copy of this book for my honest review.

Lorri finds out that her husband has been cheating on her. He wants a divorce so he can be with his new girlfriend. Lorri decides to move to this new complex where she can start over. She buys a house and fixes her job where she can work from home.

She goes to the county fair and almost gets run over by a steer. She meets Ryder when he tackles her.

They both have a lot of emotional baggage to deal with. This book was so good but I didn't want it to end. I think you will enjoy it.

This book is a Hallmark movie printed on pages—in a good way.

This is such a great comfort read written beautifully. This book is a great calm, sweet, serene read.

I absolutely loved the idea of this book, but for me it just fell flat.

Part of it genuinely could be that I walked away from the church / faith 2+ years ago, so all the faith talk had me rolling my eyes / irritated me. I know that's a me thing.

I also felt like it was just very predictable - I figured out the "plot twist" long before it happened. And there were other minor things that bothered me / just didn't line up.

Overall, just a meh / in the middle book.

Special thank you to St. Martin's Press and NetGalley for allowing me to read and review this digital arc of The Wedding Ranch.

This was my first Nancy Naigle book and I really enjoyed it! Such a wonderful example of Women's fiction, mixed with a roller coaster of emotions, highs and lows, laughter and tears! Main characters Lorri and Ryder at trying to move forward in life, trying to outrun the baggage they've been carrying. as they navigate forgiveness, we see a heartwarming relationship form with characters that are so relatable!

What an absolutely joy this one was to read! The cover & title first drew me to this book. I’ll admit, I’d never read any of this author’s other books prior to this one. After finishing, I wonder how I’d never heard of her before.

I loved that this story featured more mature main characters. I don’t recall their ages being included in the book, but I’d guess the characters to be in their mid to late thirties. Lorri & Ryder, our main characters, are described in other reviews as having baggage. They even describe it as this themselves in the book, however it really feels better described as trauma they have to overcome. As they work to overcome their past traumas, will they be able to forge a friendship…or possibly even more?

One thing I want to give major props to Nancy Naigle for is her ability to transport her readers to wherever her characters are. Her descriptions are incredible. There weren’t unnecessary details. Everything included built the story & the characters. Her writing is so, so good.

If you’re a fan of Karen Kingsbury, Denise Hunter, and Debbie Macomber, be sure to add Nancy Naigle to your list of must-read authors. Her writing is clean, faith-based, and Hallmark-esque (she has 2 books that have been turned into Hallmark Christmas movies). Highly recommend!

Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Publishing Group for the advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Be sure to pick this book up when it releases in December!

The Wedding Ranch written by Nancy Naigle, is a wonderful Women's Fiction Novel that had me on a roller coaster of emotions. Tears and laughter.
Lorri and Ryder are both looking to move forward with their lives. Both have a lot of baggage dragging them down.
How does a person find forgiveness not only for others but themselves as well.
Heartwarming story with some familiar characters you don't want to miss.
A story of learning how to forgive and love again.

Thank you NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for the opportunity to read this book.

What a wonderful, sweet story. It covers so many things that I felt many different emotions while reading this one. Yes, it is a beautiful romance that starts out as an unexpected friendship but it is so down to earth and honest!
The writing is so descriptive you feel like you can see the countryside, feel like you are riding horses right next to them, smell the coffee in the coffee shop and just relax and enjoy the beautiful cozy town.
Lorri has moved to a small town after living in a busy city and finds that she loves the closeness and goodness of the people there. Ryder is dealing with the loss of his wife and son and isn't ready to move on. Or so he thought.
I laughed at a few things that happened (like Ryder having to give up his old flip phone for a smarter phone...been there, done that!) :) I cried over the very heartwarming, emotional moments and went ahhhh out loud a few times.
Yes, it has the "Hallmark" feel to it, but it I marveled at how many things it touches on. Grieving for a loved one, anger for a break up, starting a charity, addiction problems, a famous singer's wedding, successful wedding planners, family traditions & signs from lost loved ones to let them know they are still there and the furball of the story.....Mister, the wonderful, sweet , huge dog.
I loved everything about this book and already have recommended it to friends to add to their wish list or to pre-order.
