This was an enjoyable read. The story follows Natasha who gets recruited into a school of time traveling thieves. The high school vibe is evident and some moments do cause eye rolls, but nothing too bad. There is a slow burn romance between Natasha and Braxton, but isn’t a main topic. The book did keep me on my toes, as every time a question was answered several more would replace it. The book does end in a cliffhanger, so I will be on the look out for the next book to uncover more secrets of Gray Wolf Academy!

I really, really wanted to love this book! The cover is just so gorgeous! However, it was just not my favorite. Time travel, shallow and materialistic FMC, a lot of art history. I just couldn't get excited about this book. I really appreciate the granting of my wish!

Thank you to RB Media and Netgalley for sending me an early copy of this audiobook! All opinions are my own!

The premise of this book was really great, and I loved the way that things like astrology and numerology were tied into it. I just think the book might have been written for a little too young of an audience for me. It seemed to immature at times and too high school for me. Sometimes this can be done well, but this felt like it was dragging for me.

I did really enjoy the time travel aspects and the way that the stakes were made so high with that! I loved getting to see such extravagance in the past but also seeing the darker side to society at that time. The characters also had me really interested with how they related to one another. I loved seeing their motivations for everything and watching as they navigated finding themselves in this utterly ridiculous academy.

I was really intrigued with where the story was going, and I think I will give the next book a shot!

If you're a fan of time travel fiction, definitely check this series out!

I semi struggled with this book which I find weird because it is well written, exciting, and kept my attention when I could actually focus.

Maybe it is all the "trying to figure it out" vibes that I get from the main character that I focused too much on too that did it. It has a feel of secrecy to it, which makes sense really, but at the same time you get nothing from anybody and have to find out with Nat at the same time.

The time travel aspect and book cover is what pulled me in and the characters held me, more the side characters than main characters though. The drama between characters could have been subdued and focus more on the initial premise so I have hopes for the next one.

Hey Books Lovers,

I can't thank Entangled Publishing enough for giving me the chance to read al early copy of this book. Stealing Infinity by Alyson Noel is a book comparable to other readings, but at the same time it is such an original book that it was a real joy to be able to read it, the worst part now is having to wait for the sequel to come out.

To give you a starting point on having to be able to place this book, if you liked Kerstin Gier's Ruby red trilogy, then you will surely love, with no doubt, this saga of stealing infinity. I'll call it a saga because I actually don't know how many books it will be composed of.

However, as you could understand even here we talk about time travel, trips made thanks to the technology and investments of Arthur Blackstone who, as soon as he discovered this island and its peculiarities, did not hesitate to invest as much money as possible to open a school and train young students for this task, that of traveling through time and bringing him gets in the present.

Natasha is our protagonist. At first she may seem like a not so nice person. From top of the class, she has declined to become a nobody. After the dissappearing of her father, her life and that of her mother changed and she, from a lover of fashion and study, has turned into a not very stylish person, denigrating school, and frequenting bad company.

The only one who has remained close to her is her best friend Mason, but after some events and her choice to go to the Gray Wolf academy, she loses all contact with him too. At Gray Wolf, however, not without many difficulties at first, she will be able to make some friends. But the questions grow in number more and more because she has a particular gift that she cannot reveal to anyone and apparently all the things her father instilled in her as a child seem to be useful for Arthur's purposes.

This, being a first book, will eventually answer some questions, but will actually leave many more unanswered. In my opinion, what Arthur wants to do is much more than what he declares to his students. And then there's Braxton, who's pretty much the only one who's been helping Natasha right from the start, but it turns out he too has secrets he doesn't want to reveal. Everyone has secrets, and students who disappear overnight don't help solve the situation.

The writing style of this book was very smooth and enjoyable. Very short chapters, as I like them, and well-defined characters. Each has its own personality, its secrets and its doubts as it should be. They are all very intelligent guys and interested in art, but everyone has a bit of their own purpose in life, however much life this may be called because once you join Gray Wolf, no one gets out of it anymore.

Only one thing left me perplexed, and that is the fact that the kids inside the school can drink alcohol even though they are not all of the legal age to do so. But in this case I focused on a rather irrelevant detail. Only one thing I tell you if you decide to undertake this reading. If you arrive at an answer, don't think you have understood everything, because nothing is as it seems and each answer corresponds to two more new questions.

For all the haters of the love triangle, I can tell you that in this first book it is not present. I don't want to lie, but I have a hint there will be in the sequel, but in the first we only have Natasha and Braxton - oops, little spoiler :) for good purposes.

I'm very curious to know, if you read it, what you think. Keep me updated, I'd like it. I end up telling you that I gave this book 4.5 stars. February 2023 will never come fast enough.

I was looking forward for another of Alyson's books. I was a huge fan of hers growing up, having read the entire Immortals series. But I found Stealing Infinity a little too boring, and maybe I wasn't meant to be the audience for this story. The plot felt really slow, and the amount of clichés didn't gave me the feeling of nostalgia. The characters where ok, but none of them felt charismatic or emotional enough. They were kinda flat. When I finished the book, I din't felt curiosity to look for the sequel.

Thanks NetGalley for the eArc copy

Beautiful cover but bad story.
I didn't like this novel as I found it boring and it made it seem a lot more than 400 pages.
The plot is slow and not much exciting. There are too many clichè.
Natasha, the main character, is a girl who was forced to change her life, but after some hesitation, she accepted her new life and fall in love with the male main character. Too much basic.
She arrive at Grey Wolf academy and just think about clothes, shoes and other superficial things like that.
It's not easy to empathize with Natasha, because she is shallow, not very nice and she doesn't have personality.
it's not an original novel and in many situation it does remember Shadowhunters and Ruby red trilogy.
Trips arent' well described and I think it's all too much easy.
There isn't a final cliffhanger and I'm not curious about the second book of this series.

Okay so, this book is somewhat a series of Im not sure if it is two or three. And the whole concept of this story is time travelling and appreciation of art and history. If you are the type who love art and history this book will surely make you excited. But that not the case with me even though I recognized some of the art but barely appreciate it. Im so sorry for my lack of enthusiasm haha.
If i were to touch on the storyline of the story, it was pretty mid. There is little to no exciting moment in the story and had a really long storyline. Seing how the author would make it a series than it sure will have a longer storyline later on. But the author know how to grab our attention to keep on reading to the next chapter which is why I kinda surprise that I read it faster than I thought.
The love interest in the story was not my cup of tea. I dont like how it seems like the author force the love encounter between the main character. It looks too sudden and too forced. Well if you don't mind with it its okay, its cool but It just not it for me.

DNF'd. It was too shallow and all over the place for me. I get it that this is YA, but it was too much 'wow her clothes' and 'my former table with the cool kids' and 'shopping at a high end designer store,' not to mention the numbers/ tarot was a turn off (I was on board with time traveling and secret schools, but not with astrology).

I definitely didn't expect this one - a very surprising read! I enjoyed all the information given to me and the gorgeous cover. I felt like the story was paced out well and really allowed time to get to know and love the characters.

Stealing Infinity starts out with some background on numerology, which I found interesting. Then we jump right into the story of Natasha, a poor highschooler who feels that she has no prospects for her future. She is soon tricked by someone she thought was a friend and dragged off to the mysterious Gray Wolf academy. There she learns that time travel exists and finds romance with the enigmatic Braxton. I greatly enjoyed the setup of the school and the time travel aspects of the novel. Wasn't a huge fan of the romance to start with, as it felt a little rushed and unearned, but it did feel more realistic by the end. Very excited to see where this series goes.

This is book 1 of the exciting Young Adult Series Stealing Infinity. Grey Wolf Academy is looking for a certain type of student. When Natasha is kicked out of school, arrested, and sent away, she never expected to learn things about herself that she didn't expect. Like the fact that she has powers and they are going to help her develop her new powers. Will she learn how to use them, or will something else happen?

Stealing Infinity had a lot of elements that I really like. I enjoyed the numerology information, the time travel, the academy, and the historical stuff. Also, the cover is incredible. However, the pacing was a little off for me. It had a very slow start, which made it difficult to get into. But, it did pick up and I still enjoyed it. Will definitely read the sequel.

This book was the definition of the unexpected! There was so many plot twists and turns and the storyline present was unique and I was dragged into the story because of the way this book felt so different from other books

Overall, this book had a unique storyline with some interesting characters. I can honestly say I did not expect the twists and turns within the story. However, I feel like I need to read more books in the series to determine whether or not I liked this book. I guess this is good, because I’m now hooked to find out what happens in the next book, but I’m on the fence. I find myself craving more answers and more to the story. I would probably recommend this book, for the sole purpose of needing to know if others felt as conflicted as I did after they finished the last page.

This book tells the story of Natasha, who is living a dead end life until she is swept up into the fold of Grey Wolf Academy. Although she is at first reluctant to settle into her new residence, she eventually acquiesces to the mystery and intrigue of the remote academy. While Natasha navigates her new life, she finds that there is much more than meets the eye at her school, and everyone around her has their own agenda. Natasha must learn quickly the secrets of the academy to protect herself from dangers she never imagined.

Thank you to Entangled Publishing and NetGalley for an electronic advanced readers copy of this novel.

Natasha Clarke has slowly been going on a downward spiral ever since her dad disappeared and her mom stopped trying to deal with life because of it. She finds herself in a tight spot, but is taken to Grey Wolf Academy, a school which is on an island owned by an eccentric billionaire,

Stealing Infinity, by Alyson Noel, is a fun, quick read about teenagers, history and changing your fate. It is clearly the first book in a series. I hope the other characters will be fleshed out a little more, but I think the main mystery is intriguing and I'm looking forward to finding out what happens.

Stealing Infinity follows Nat who is new at Gray Wolf Academy and is being trained Arthur Blackstone. Here she begins to realize that things are not always as they seem, and can be a lot more sinister that meets the eye.

I loved the idea of the story, and the characters, but struggled a lot with the pacing of the story. The story to me was overall extremely slow. It took longer than I would have liked to get into it and once I put it down, it was hard to pick up which ruined any interest I had in finishing the book. Although there were parts that did pick up the pace and get me hooked, it often transitioned back to a much slower pace.

After finishing it however, I realized that besides the pacing, I enjoyed the story overall so I would recommend it to anyone who is okay with a relatively slow story.

Stealing Infinity tells a story of time travellers with a pinch of romance, a lot of secrets and even more mystery. Gray Wolf Academy isn't how it seems - even if I don't know why yet. The whole book revealed so many questions and not many answers so as you can imagine I am dying for more!

The further into the book you get, the more intriguing the prologue becomes.

"When the boy does find my daughter - and he will - I can only hope it will lead to her uncovering this object."

Has she already met this mysterious blue eyed boy? What does he want with her? Why? How does this tie in with her current situation? Ms Noel, I need answers!

The novel began with an introduction to numerology (something I'd never heard of) and I loved that it was included as it was fun to workout and read up on my number - I'm an eight! You can see the amount of research and detail the author included and it was a fantastic touch!

Alyson Noel is an author who has been in my heart for years - way back when The Immortals series came out and Stealing Infinity did not disappoint. The gripping storyline had me from the beginning and I was desperate for more when it ended. The author took a trope I generally don't like (time travelling) and spun a tale that become one my favourite reads of the year.

what interested me in wanting to read this book was that it has time travel elements which i had always found fascinating, even better with some added romance. Stealing infinity is a mix of Sci-fi, time travel, mystery, art history, romance, tarot, numerology.. a school (Gray Wolf academy) of time traveling students that travel through time to steal historical artifacts. in a way it does have a bit of psychological thriller elements were you are trying to guess who are the good people and who are the bad. overall a good YA fantasy sci fi book to read.
