I did not like When in Rome as much as I liked the Cheat Sheet, but I still really liked it. It's another romcom book, this time between a famous pop star, Amelia and a small town pie shop owner, Noah. Noah is a strong but tender man (; and I bet if he was my boyfriend he would make me a gluten free pie everyday. He's also a man with sisters, men with sisters are always better. I think this book accurately portrayed how stressful the life of somehow famous can be, this book had me biting my nails every time they had to hide from the paparazzi. I really liked the background characters and how the townspeople would try to conspire to get them together. It was a really cute read. Not too spicy, mostly fade to black. I'd recommend if you like the cheat sheet or romcoms that aren't super smutty but still sexy.

Sarah Adams has knocked it out of the park again!

Noah is like a perfectly baked pie. A little hard around the edges but a total softie on the inside. I loved him and all of his grumpiness. He’s the kind of hero a reader easily falls in love with, and his muscular arms definitely help 😉

Amelia was the soft, gooey, sweet center to Noah’s rough edges. The bright sunshine that brought out the best in Noah. I loved how relatable and real she was even though she was a pop star. I felt her emotions so strongly and was rooting for her throughout the whole book.

Together they made the ideal pie. The perfect pairing that leaves the reader utterly pleased and wanting more. I loved this magical grump/sunshine pairing and the whole plot.

The town was charming. The side characters made me fall even more in love with the story. I NEED Noah’s sisters love stories like yesterday please!

Altogether, this book was magical, extraordinary, splendiferous… any fantastical word you can think of. Make sure you set your calendar now for its release on September 20th!
