Such a great little book that was just full of a huge variety of questions. I really loved the introduction, and the little welcomes at the starts of each category, them and the prizes really made me chuckle!

Another hit was the fantastic selection of games to make it more than just a would you rather question, I especially loved the psychic games which felt very similar to Mr and Mrs when couples were playing it, we did this game with friends too to see how well we knew each other, and it created such a laughable atmosphere.
Some of the questions are thoughtful, some are hilarious, some are completely wacky and gross, and others are interesting and philosophical, either way each question opens up a line of conversation or debate.

There is definitely a question for everyone in the book that they will struggle with, for me it was the difficult choices of having to watch the entire twilight series or the entire 50 shades series every day for the rest of my life, I mean as a reader they are both a guilty pleasure of mine how can I choose? For my husband it was the DeLorean or the Millennium Flacon that got him, he loves both!

My only issue (and this may be the same for others too) is that I struggled with some of the pop culture questions, as some of the references I hadn’t watched or read (or heard about)

Would You Rather? Questions for Couples by Sanji Moore and Taylor Moore is actually what the title says..... the game of would you rather turned into a convenient book for couples!

The book starts by introducing the reader to different ways the questions can be used. I liked the creative options that I had never thought of/ heard of before. The questions could be used as conversation starters, or could be turned into a variety of games! I used the book as the first, though did take up the suggestion of occasionally texting my husband a question just for the fun. I try to ask him a few questions each day, and will be using on a long road trip for some entertainment. I'll admit that some of the questions feel like a bit of a stretch, but overall the book definitely lives up to its title.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I'd recommend for readers looking for convenient access to a ton of "would you rather" questions in a book form, that don't take themselves too seriously!

5⭐
I LOVE books like this! I wasn't sure how unique this one would be, but I love the first chapter that helps you think of fun ways to use the book. We play would you rather all the time at dinner as a family, and I loved the idea they shared. I can't wait to try them with my kids too. (All except for one section that is a little on the steamy side.) 😉
I would totally recommend this book, it would be fun to play in the car, for date night, on a trip, etc. Sometimes it's hard to "break the ice" with your significant other and get out of the cycle of taking about bills, chores, work, etc. I love that this is an easy way to add fun and laughter to your relationship.
Again, this could be used with friends, family, kids, etc too! The topics are split up by chapter so skip the sexy chapter if you aren't reading it with an appropriate audience. 😉
Just grab it already and keep it somewhere you will reach for it often.
Thanks to netgalley for an ARC to review.

Some of these were very boring and it only got interesting toward the end. However, that is me nitpicking. I think the book did what it was intended to do and overall it was fun!

Would you rather visit past you OR get a visit from your future self? Would you rather have a permanent splinter in your toe OR a permanent paper cut on your finger? These are just two of the important questions asked in Would You Rather? Questions for Couples.

I'm giving this 5 stars because my fiance and I sat down at dinner and played this game and laughed over and over. It's amazing what you can find out about your partner that you never knew (He chose to have the splinter in his toe!!! WHAT?!) This is perfect for a road trip or just a rainy day when you're wanting to become closer with your partner.

These would you rather questions have been so fun to do with my spouse these last few days. They have been great conversation starters and we have laughed a lot about answers and the reasoning behind them a lot! My husband is a teacher and is looking forward to using some of these with his students as ice breaker questions next school year!

This is such a fun way to start new and interesting conversations with your partner! My husband and I sat down and just started going through page by page and we both had a blast.

Such a great time-passer for couples. It's a fun conversation starter, while opening up a debate on some of the questions. It has a mix of PG and more mature questions, so I wouldn't get this for kids. This only makes it better for getting as an adult couple. Highly recommended!

This was such an adorable book! I have been with my boyfriend for four years, and this was such a fun way to spark new conversations with him. I'm such a big advocate of always dating your partner, no matter how long you've been together, and this is a perfect way to do that. This would be such a good gift idea for holidays, anniversaries, and birthdays!

This book of would you rather questions was fun! It lead to some lively conversations with my boyfriend and helped us get to know each other better! It would make a fun addition to a roadtrip or sweet wedding shower gift!

The questions don't feel particularly original, but I appreciate the creators including suggestions about different ways to change up the game, rather than the plain 'ask one question back in forth', 'reading the book front to back'. It would make for a good boredom buster, but not so much a late night game night.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed going through these. Some are really easy, and some are really hard to choose between! While this isn't good for a library setting, I can see a couple who have a long road trip planned purchasing it to help the time fly by.

This book has a bunch of would you rather questions, made for couples! Some of them are ones that you could do with friends, but others are designed specifically for partners. Lots of interesting questions! My favorite section was the weird one that was the last section - lots of funny and interesting ones.

Absolutely devoured this book and had so much fun going through the questions. Hoping to find some more books like this. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to break up the monotony of everyday conversations and add a little light-hearted, thought-provoking conversation to the mix. This would be the perfect companion for a road trip.

Whimsical Party Game!

Would You Rather? takes the classic children's game and organizes it into seven distinct sections with a brief preface for optional game rules. The categories range from 'Questionable Life Choices' to 'Just Plain Weird' layering in more humor along the way.

You could spend hours flipping through and chortling at the absurdities, but the way it is laid out makes the book feel like it could have been better adapted to a different format (i.e. A card game.) rather than taking up the space to print an average of 3-4 questions per page.

That said, these hypotheticals are not so specific that you would have to play with or against your partner. You could easily round-robin at a gathering of close acquaintances (or skip the NSFW in mixed company) to spark larger debate. I could also see these questions being well-adapted to something like a bridal shower or wedding reception- any place where you could pit people against each other and keep score.

If you are looking to add depth to your existing relationship, this book may not be your answer. But if you are looking to spend some time discovering whether or not your loved one would rather give dolphins or pandas the right to vote- you can look no further.

This book was so much FUN!! I read it with my husband while we were on a road trip. The questions were so fun, silly, and really made you think! We laughed lots. Keep in mind, this is a book for couples. Some sections are not meant for the whole family! (But still lots of fun with your partner- you can skip those parts if kids are in the car with you) This book also gave ideas of different games you can play with the questions. We will use it again!

Such a fun read! Even though the questions may seem a little silly sometimes, the answers have lots of potential to become interesting conversations. I had a good time reading it and imaginiging what I would say. I'll definitely play it for real someday with my partner.

A fun guide for game night or date night! I expected this to be less PG since it’s “for couples” but there are definitely plenty of kid friendly asks throughout!
