This one hooked me from the very beginning and kept me hooked the whole time! I loved it! Loved the premise of it and the lesson it taught.

This book was good. I love reading books by Danielle steel. This one talks about a guy wanting a better life. The ending could have been a little better. All in all it was good. I am grateful that netgalley and the publishers let me read this in exchange for an honest review.

While the premise of Without a Trace by Danielle Steel was promising, the delivery fell flat for me. In the first chapter, which could have been cut by several pages, the author kept repeating that Charlie's wife didn't love him, that he lost his job at the publishing house and had to get a job with a plastics company, that he butted heads with his boss about putting safety labels on the toys they manufactured, etc. Readers are pretty savvy and do not need to be told over and over again the details of a character.

Otherwise, the story was just okay for me. The story is about second chances and releasing yourself from toxic and abusive relationships and the steps taken to get away from those relationships. I did like Charlie and how he came to realize what was important and make decisions for himself. I enjoyed the setting. The ending was satisfying.

This ARC was provided to me via Kindle, Random House Publishing Group- Ballantine and by #NetGalley. Opinions expressed are completely my own.

A departure from the typical DS novel, I found this quite interesting. I liked the idea of the MC walking away from a life when they weren’t satisfied.
