If you like a book filled with angst, mystery and all the psychological mind twist, this book is for you. I absolutely love Agent Lauren Snow. She is such a brilliant woman who is without malice and just wants to make a difference. Her mind is fascinating. Huck…. I love that he started coming out of his self-imposed shell in this book and he is a perfect partner for Lauren. Abigail…. This character is so complex it is hard to decide if she is really the villain or simply so eager for attention it just comes off that way…. Either way, this book is a fast paced thrill ride!

You Can Hide is book #2 of the Laurel Snow Series. I read the first book (You Can Run) in May and have been looking for this one since then. Laurel Snow is an FBI agent with an Eidetic memory and a very high IQ. She's back in her hometown to possibly setup a new Violent Crimes Unit and there is a brutal murder of a woman to the point where she's unrecognizable. Laurel must team up with Fish and Wildlife Captain Huck Rivers and his sweet dog, Aeneas. Between working with hunky Huck, her new relationship with her sociopath half-sister, and a new serial killer on the loose, Laurel has a lot going on. I really enjoy her humor with Huck. I have a sort of dry humor that not a lot of people understand. I actually did not guess the killer correctly so that was a surprise! This was a great addition to the series and I hope there are more to come.

Wow - that ending! I read the first book in this series in March, and I immediately looked for the next book. I was sad to see that it wouldn’t be out until November of 2022. I was beyond thrilled to receive an advanced reader copy of this book!

Special Agent Laurel Snow is one of the most original characters I have ever read in the mystery/thriller/romantic suspense genre. She has a very unique look, and to say that she is wicked smart would be an understatement. I adore Captain Huck Rivers - he has his own important backstory, and I love the many-layered relationship he has with Laurel. But Agent Snow’s half-sister, Dr. Abigail Caine, really helps take this series to a whole new level. I am giving away no spoilers here, but she is a unique character all on her own, and she is beyond creepy. You need to read to find out why.

I cannot wait to read more of these characters! This book is fast-paced, and it will keep you on the edge of your seat. It is a very original series. Thank you to NetGalley and Kensington Books for this advanced reader copy. This book releases in November of 2022. If romantic suspense and mystery/thriller are your genres, you will not be disappointed.

Love the Laurel Snow character. He mind is amazing and I enjoy the way she reasons things out. Her sister is definitely a scary character to say the least. And she gets scarier with each book.

The relationship with Huck is a slow burner, but the anticipation is what keeps you hooked. Can’t wait to see it burn hotter. Neither one really knows how to be in a relationship and it’s funny to watch.

The bad guy totally caught me off guard. Just wasn’t expecting it. Great book all around. I’m anxiously waiting for the next Laurel Snow book.

A thrill from start to finish. Book 2 in this series once again finds Laurel and Huck up against a serial killer. These two are a slow burn and I'm here for it. Laurel is such a unique main character and I love her perspective on her surroundings and how her brain works. Abigail continues to be such an enigma. The clues are there but are they a red herring only another book will tell. I can't wait for the next.

I am hooked on this series! Special Agent in Charge Laurel Snow is unique in so many ways: her brilliance, her looks, and her ability to catch serial killers. Her partner, Huck, is worthy of a romance novel cover for his looks but he also has smarts and a heart. Their latest case has them looking for a ritualistic murderer who preys on smart professional women, leaving them naked and murdered in the snow, surrounded by dahlias and with hands cut off. It's an exciting hunt, and it's great to see the relationship between Laurel and Huck develop. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Laurel, FBI special agent in charge, is back in town and there's another serial killer who is targeting intelligent women with advanced degrees. Huck, a Captain with Fish and Wildlife, joins to assist the team. Her half-sister is stalked and in danger yet is a wild card in Laurel's life. I enjoy the friendships that are developing between the team. Laurel and Huck complement and attract each other in an intriguing way. There is danger and suspense all around because this killer does not stick to the same MO. I love this series and look forward to the next.

I had completely forgotten about the first book in this series (You Can Run), but not because it wasn't good. I just read A LOT. So when the opportunity to read an ARC of You Can Hide presented itself, I jumped on the chance. I had to skim parts of book 1 to remember certain details, but I found myself remembering more and more as I read. Although this book can technically stand alone, I strongly recommend reading book 1 first.

More of a thriller than romantic suspense, You Can Hide will keep you guessing until close to the end. I'm usually really good at identifying red herrings, and to some extent, I had a strong suspicion who the killer was. That said, the author is a master at creating a suspenseful plot with twists and turns. There is some romance between Laurel and Huck, but it definitely takes the back seat to the rest of the plot.

Rebecca Zanetti is an author that I will always move to the top of my read pile. I'm not sure how many more Laurel Snow books she's planning, but I'm in for the long haul.

I received an ARC of this book for free from the publisher and Netgalley, and I'm leaving this honest review voluntarily. Thanks!

We’re back with Laurel and Huck, and it would appear that another serial killer is active in their town. And as odd as it is, it’s not totally implausible. Maybe Laurel attracts them. Maybe Huck does. Or maybe someone is creating them in an attempt to gain attention or to prove that they’re the master. But which is it? And who is killing women?

This story wound around itself and every corner so many times that I found myself both eager to get to the end and afraid that the end meant no more time with these two for now. And it was masterfully done. For every lead, there are three others, and one either winds back to another lead or a dead end. And at the center of it all is the one person Laurel wishes she could sever all ties with, but that person is a tad insistent at having familial bonds. Or seems to be. And while Huck is making some missteps, Laurel has to decide if she can trust anyone. There are new faces on the scene, new and old dangers, and so many possibilities that it’s necessary to buckle up for the ride. And once one mystery is solved, more pop up. Maybe, just maybe, the one who keeps getting away won’t get so lucky next time. I can’t wait to find out!

Agent Snow is back working with Captain Rivers trying to solve some horrifying murders. Of course her sister Abigail is embroiled in the case as well. I couldn’t turn the pages on this book fast enough. Twists and turns made it impossible for me to figure out until the very end. Love Snow & Rivers as partners. Looking forward too more of this pairing!

This is the second book in the Laurel Snow series. This book was just as amazing as the first one. You still have all of the main characters trying to solve another serial killer. Agent Laurel Snow, who is a genius is now trying to solve another serial killer case in her little town. Huck is there to help when needed and they are once again having to work together, which causes emotions to resurface. Will they be able to solve the case before there are more deaths? I was given an ARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Kensington Books/Zebra for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is the 2nd in a series, I think it reads well as a stand alone-but I could be biased as I have read the first. I must say I felt like I was running in place for a bit in this one. This is not to say that I didn't enjoy the book-but for someone as intelligent as Laurel-she couldn't seem to decide on much. She is super interesting because she is so intelligent. I like the characters in the story. The plot was convoluted. But Abigail is CREEPY!!!!! OMgosh I mean scary CREEPY!!! Seriously.. wow 4.5 stars

The plot moves in circles, just a convoluted web of who knows who, up until around the 70% when the story and tension really pick up and reminded me of why I liked the first installment so much.

A well written 5 Star book for Rebecca Zanetti. This author is s Must-Read for me as she is a master of suspense and always has varied and interesting characters. I especially love Laurel Snow who l really identify with as I too am super analytical and logical and am not very emotional or reactive. I also identify with Huck as I too prefer the company of dogs (and books)to most people.

This story is the second in a series (but can be read as a standalone) starring FBI agent Laurel Snow. She again partners with Fish and Wildlife Officer Huck Rivers to find a serial killer. The story is fast paced and tightly woven but is heavier on the suspense and mystery than the romance which is a definite slow burn.

On the mystery side, Ms. Zanetti gives you plenty of suspects
who you condemn and then eliminate as more people get killed and injured and new information and suspects are gathered. On the romance side, you root for socially awkward, beyond genius IQ, extremely literal (no sarcasm, etc.) Laurel and the growly, loner, PTSD suffering Huck. They crawl their way towards each other… two steps forward then a big step back. Then add in the wicked, equally brilliant, meddling, sociopathic half sister Abigail who wants Huck (because her sister has him) AND the returned ambitious, journalist, info-seeking, ex-fiancée Rachel who wants Huck back. So many fun twists!!

While I would have normally sat and read this book through in one sitting, I am on vacation and was forced to read it over a few days. The benefit was that in my forced non-reading time it really gave me a chance to think about the mystery and who the killer was. I shuffled and re-shuffled clues and ideas along with Laurel and Huck. Truly great writing and clue paths along with false trails!

Hurry fast, Ms. Zanetti with the next in the series! You left us with the ultimate next story lead about creepy Abigail!

***This book was an ARC given through NetGalley but my review is honest and non-biased.

You Can Hide😳

Wow, the next book in the Laurel Snow series is here and it’s an entertaining and enthralling read❣️It appears as though the work of another serial killer in their small, snowy town keeps her in town as well as a hunky, broad-shouldered Fish and Wildlife Officer by the name of Huck, no matter how much she protests the fact😉

It was great to entrench myself in this world again and I especially like that Laurel and Huck have teamed up once again and also the fact that Laurel has been portrayed as starting to pick up on social nuances that she normally misses. Her sister, Abigail still gives me the heeby jeebies but I’m looking forward to see what happens next😍

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily leave my honest review❤️

I enjoyed this book. I love how thrilling it was. I think it was a great sequel to the book you can run.

FANTASTIC book! I stayed up half the night finishing it because I couldn't put it down. Laurel is a FBI agent with a ridiculously high IQ and an eidetic memory. Since she entered college at age 13, she never really learned how to interact with others and misses lots of subtext. Huck is a bear of a man who would prefer to hibernate in his cabin and avoid people. As a state police office, he pairs with Laurel again to solve horrific crimes.

This is a complex and tightly woven novel that kept me on the edge of my seat. The characters were likable and a bit endearing. I found myself invested in their story and wanting them to get what they wanted.

If you enjoy romantic suspense, you will love this book, however, it's a bit heavier on the suspense than the romance, The author is a master at her craft and is on my must read authors' list. This is part of a series, but is a stand alone novel, however, it's so good that you really owe it to yourself to read them all.

Laurel and Huck are back in this book. The romance is still steamy. It's exciting and suspenseful. Lots of great twists. Love Laurel and Huck together. Abigail is an interesting character. She is a sociopath and not worried about right or wrong. It's a fast-paced exciting read.

Thanks to the publisher for the arc.

This was another well written five star read by Rebecca Zanetti! Laurel Snow is incredibly gifted, yet doesn’t always know how to read people. Huck Rivers is a loner (besides his dog) and suffers from PTSD. But somehow together, their chemistry is off the charts as they try to figure out how to interact with one and other while solving a series of murders in their small town. Laurel is in the FBI and Huck is a member of Fish and Wildlife, and they are tasked to partner together to solve the case. There was an extensive cast of characters and she kept you guessing about who the murderer might be. This book had twists and turns I didn’t see coming. I would highly recommend reading You Can Run before you read You Can Hide. I hope there will be more in the Laurel Snow Thrillers series.

I received an ARC for an honest review.
