Although many will begin this book at the beginning, I started with Chapter 5 Donald and Me, Its the keystone where you will get up close insights into how Trump operates.

Dick Morris has written an insightful book outlining the failures of the Biden administration and the critical nature of the upcoming 2024 presidential election. This work will be readily praised by the right and repudiated by the left. Morris gives inside information surrounding the 2020 election and its aftermath. His personal conversations with the President are illuminating. Morris focuses his attention on key critical areas that should influence the voter. He discusses race and gender, inflation, free speech, small business, Chinese influence, and taxes. Morris argues that should the left retains control America will continue to suffer. His solution to end the suffering is Donald Trump to return as President.

This book was full of mis-truths! Morris is a huge Trump fan & he makes no secrets about that. Reading this book was like listening to Trump rattle off lie after lie about the 2020 presidential election. The first utterance of “RINO” early in the book turned me off. Morris raises many of the debunked claims by Trump. One claim Morris makes in the book was how Georgia could have made changes to the election laws between the 2020 election & the special election in January 2021. This is simply not true! The Supreme Court has ruled in the past that election laws can’t be changed too close to an election because of the confusion it would cause (The Purcell Principle). I’m sure Morris is aware of this but it bodes better with the Trump base to pass along falsehoods.

Although I was turned off from this book early on, I did complete it. I don’t recommend this book.

Absolutely loved this book. I just love Trump. But living in the UK there was a lot I didn’t know. Learned a lot from reading this one. The book was very well written

This may be an excellent book, but I could not tell for sure. Every galley proof that I receive to read and review always contains some typos, commissions, and errors, but this proof was almost unreadable despite this problem. "The Return" contained countless facts and statistics that make me suspect that it will be a top-notch political book when corrected.

Dick Morris is a political strategist who successfully advised President Clinton following the 1994 midterms when the Republicans took control of Congress for the first time in 40 years. He has long since parted ways with the Clintons and is a frequent commentator on the Newsmax channel.

If you are well-informed about what is really going on in this country, a lot of what's discussed in this book won't be news, but you'll find good advice about how to turn things around. In my experience too many people don't know what's going on, so this would be a valuable resource for the uninformed. That's another thing that's discussed in great depth in this book: How the free and open exchange of ideas once enjoyed in this country has inched towards censorship. So, this book did a good job of covering the whole situation in an easy, free-flowing writing style that is very informative. It is Morris's opinion that only former President Donald Trump is up to the job of putting the United States back on track to a thriving nation.

Thank you to the publisher Humanix Books for providing an advance reader copy via NetGalley.

Love him or hate him, it’s safe to say there has probably never been a more controversial figure in politics than Donald Trump. In The Return, Dick Morris lays out why and how he believes Trump should and will once again become the president. I have no idea if he’s right but this book is interesting, well thought out, and I must admit I’ve always appreciated hearing Morris’s thoughts, after all over the years the man has been on both sides of the political spectrum so he always has a unique point of view.
