Great variety of activities for kids. I love the space theme woven throughout, though there are many different themes within.

My daughter is still a little young for this, but I am so so excited to share it with her soon! I still remember the awe I felt watching Louie Giglio’s Indescribable and How Great Is Our God sermons. I think there are people in the Christian community who are apprehensive about focusing heavily on science, but I’m so grateful for series like these that use science to highlight God’s glory. This is a great activity book, going from pages talking about Mars to missionaries, crafts and games to advice on how to pray. And it pairs great with the corresponding children’s devotional s. Love love love it!

Louie Giglio's Indescribable Kids Activity Book is an excellent gift for children this summer. This activity book provides creative, educational entertainment for children for hours while also helping them understand and explore Biblical principles that will stay with them for a lifetime. The book is an excellent tool for keeping children engaged and occupied when they are at home. It is a perfect gift for children and one of the best you can give them!

Thank you, NetGalley, Tommy Nelson, and Harper Collins Publishing, for this amazing opportunity to read it early! All opinions are my own.

The Indescribable Activity Book for Kids was written by Louie Giglio and illustrated by Nicola Anderson and Lynsey Wilson.

Summary: This activity book is designed to complement the Indescribable devotional series. It contains more than 150 fun activities and includes scripture, puzzles, word searches, crosswords, drawing activities, STEM experiments and more.

Many of the activities also include page numbers at the top directing readers back to a corresponding devotion from Indescribable, How Great Is Our God, and The Wonder of Creation for a more in-depth study on that topic.

My Thoughts: We are very big fans of this entire devotional series. We have used each of the devotionals as part of our daily homeschool devotional times over the years (we’ve done Indescribable twice!), and they are wonderful. In fact, we just finished The Wonder of Creation this past school year.

Adding an activity book to this series was such a fantastic idea. My nine-year-old son is really enjoying the book so far, and I absolutely love some of the drawings he has done!

There are so many fun projects in this book too. Here are just some I am looking forward to doing with my son soon:
-making a pizza that shows all the Earth’s layers
-the ten second marshmallow game
-crystal snowflakes
-a glow stick experiment

And I absolutely love the missions where kids practice having a heart like God’s and doing things to bless other people.

This book is packed with a great variety of engaging activities, fun and colorful illustrations, and best of all, it points kids back to God and His Word.

I highly recommend this book. It is a wonderful companion to the devotionals and would be perfect as an addition to any child’s devotional time, homeschool science activities, and just for fun!

I would like to thank Thomas Nelson for providing me with a digital copy for my review, AND an actual physical copy as well! Thank you so very much!

This faith-based activity book has so much more than word finds and mazes! Creative 6- to 10-year-olds will love the “would you rather” questions and logic grids, as well as activities that encourage outdoor exploration. I love that kids can engage their minds and their hands to learn about God and science. Plus, each activity is linked to a devotion in the Indescribable series (though kids will get a lot out of this activity book all on its own). What a fun way to help kids grow in faith and understand God’s amazing world!
Thank you to the publisher for an advanced copy of this book. No review was required, and all opinions are wholeheartedly my own.

You know, one of the hardest things to do these days is occupying a child’s time happily without a screen. I think this activity book has a fighting chance of succeeding. Wow, nearly 200 pages of fun things to do on paper. I wish I had this book when I was a kid!

Such a great variety of activities - mazes, dot to dot, drawing, coloring, spot the differences, fill in the blanks, quizzes. The list goes on. And all telling about God’s creation. Fun, learn, be inspired and encouraged about God’s love, power and faithfulness to us. Really quite a complete package for a child.

Beautiful, colorful, adorable and appealing illustrations too.

5 complete stars from me.

I had a print copy but it migrated to Cleveland with my nine year old granddaughter! I still have the digital copy for a little while and it is just not quite as much fun. The print copy has the same activities and learning opportunities but can also be hidden under the covers with an Itty Bitty Book Lite and a pencil. Love it!
The illustrations by Nicola Anderson and Lynsey Wilson are fun, simple, colorful, and delightful.
Well suited for reading WITH someone of any age including ESL, and great for gifting to anyone.
I requested and received a free temporary e-book on Adobe Digital Editions from Thomas Nelson: CHILDREN'S, Thomas Nelson via NetGalley. Thank you!

I loved all the activities on this book. It emphasis the word of God and makes room for critical thinking. If also reinforces that science shows the good works of God. I would encourage parents to get involved with their children on these activities.

Creation can create an awe inspiring attitude for children which in turn can create a thankful heart. Louie Giglio that is one of the greatest gift that the Lord bestowed to Louie. It is a gift that he shares.

I have marked this to put on my gift list.

A special thank you to Thomas Nelson and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review.
