A heartwarming holiday romance with everything a Hallmark worthy read should have. I am a sucker for all things royal romance, so I was thrilled to get an advanced reader copy of this, even though it was February! Now I’m anticipating the holidays.

Gracie Clark runs a party princess business. She is Princess Snowflake. She can’t get a loan to expand her business, but wins a contest (that she was entered by her best friend) put together by the San Glacera board of tourism. She has to travel to the country and help with tourism leading up to Christmas to earn her $30,000 prize. Gracie meets her prince charming but is horrified to discover he really is a prince. He’s Prince Nikolas, the prince of San Glacera and not an actor. The two have routine misunderstandings, but as they get to know each other they find themselves falling. How can an American party princess and a real European prince be able to be together?

If you’re like me and missing a hallmark Christmas movie coming out every night then this is the book for you! Teri Wilson is one of my favorite authors ever since mr darcy unleashed. This is a crowning (pun intended) glory. It’s so sweet and funny

Another fabulous book by Teri Wilson! I absolutely adore the world she created and found myself wanting to visit San Glacier! I also appreciated the well rounded characters, especially Gracie Clark, whose quiet temperament and hidden insecurities, made her very relatable. I love when I can genuinely root for a character, one who feels like a friend.

I love a good Hallmark-feel book, but make it royal and it's a recipe for success! We all know what's going to happen in this type of book, but we would be fantastically let down if the prince didn't end up with the princess. Love the pace of the book, love the last two chapters of the book, and love that we had to wait that long to get what we wanted!

"Once Upon A Royal Christmas" by Teri Wilson is a delightful and charming Christmas romance. The story takes place in the small European country of San Glacera, where the annual winter tourism is declining. The Crown Prince, Nikolas, is tasked with finding a solution to this problem, and is met with a unique proposal from his younger sister - hold a contest for a "princess" to accompany the royal family to holiday events and star in the annual Ice Village festivities.

Enter Gracie Clark, a young woman who runs a children's party business and performs as Princess Snowflake. Though Nikolas is initially skeptical of the idea, he is pleasantly surprised by Gracie's warmth and kindness. As they spend time together during the holiday season, Nikolas begins to see beyond Gracie's costume and falls in love with the woman behind the crown.

Teri Wilson brings the magic of Christmas to life in this heartwarming romance. The setting of San Glacera is rich with detail, and the author's writing style transports readers to this winter wonderland. The relationship between Nikolas and Gracie is both sweet and entertaining, and the characters are well-developed and relatable. If you're looking for a cozy, feel-good Christmas read, "Once Upon A Royal Christmas" is a perfect choice!

Gracie Clark pretends to be a princess at children's parties. Prince Nikolas of San Glacera was on a trip to honor their military and while he was away the palace talked his family into holding a contest. The contest winner gets to play in their annual Ice Village festivities and accompany the royal family to holiday events. The winner is Gracie and Prince Nikolas isn't pleased at first.
This was a sweet love story, but kind of cheesy at the same time. It had the feel of a Hallmark movie, and had a happy ending. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the advanced copy.

My favorite plot...a royal and a commoner. What's not to love about this sweet romance guaranteed to make you laugh. It's endearing and full of cute moments. And I love how they meet!!!! The only thing that would have been more fun is to keep them in the dark just a tiny bit longer as to their identities. LOL. Great story!

First up a big thank you to the publisher/Netgalley for allowing me to read this one.
I loved Teri Wilson's Royal Summer book and was delighted that there was a new book featuring a fake princess and a real royalty. And romance. But this wasn't it for me. This Christmas book missed that magic.
Or well, try, because I gave up. The Gracie POV parts were delightful and I just adored them. 4 stars for those. I really loved Gracie. Loved her drive, I mean, a lot of people would have given up on everything after several things happened and all the loans being rejected, but not this girl. This girl just continues. And I loved seeing her as Princess Snowflake and do her magic. The kids loved her.
The Nikolas POV? Sorry, Nikolas can just be yeeted on the mountain to an igloo for all I care. His POV sucked. I don't like him at all. If we didn't have his POV I think the book would have been much more pleasant to read for me. Now though? I just dreaded them.
So after a few of those POVs with Nikolas I just gave up.

This is a good book. The two main characters are Gracie (princess snowflake) and Nick. Gracie wins a contest and goes to Nick’s hometown. Nick’s father is the king of the country. It is the week before Christmas and Gracie has some princess duties and Nick helps her with them. They each have trust issues but together they work them out and fall in love.

Once Upon A Royal Christmas by Teri Wilson follows Gracie Clark. She runs Perfect Party Princesses, a company that provides costumed characters for events such as children’s birthday parties. She performs as Princess Snowflake. Gracie’s business is struggling to get approval for a bank loan, and they are running out of options. When her business partner discovers a contest in the mostly unheard of country of San Glacera, Gracie enters for the prize money. Prince Nikolas returns from a trip honoring wounded veterans to discover that his family has decided to hold a contest to boost tourism. He is unimpressed by his family’s choice of Gracie. But he puts duty first and agrees to go to the events with her.

This was a cute Christmas fairytale that read just like watching a Hallmark Christmas movie. It made for a quick read.

Once Upon a Royal Christmas was the perfect book to read this holiday season. It had all of the Hallmark Christmas movie vibes and was right up my alley. I adored the storyline and loved watching Gracie and Nick's "royal" romance unfold. I highly recommend this one if you love sweet, happily-ever-after romance! This one will not disappoint! I was the perfect Christmas read but it would be great any time of the year.

I normally don't read romance books, but at Christmas time I love them! This book was exactly what I needed this holiday season. It was an easy, entertaining read that reminded me of a Hallmark movie (in a good way).

Once Upon A Royal Christmas is an adorable holiday romance which would make for the perfect Hallmark movie. It has everything to make your heart smile. A fake princess. An ill-tempered prince. A winter wonderland filled with magic and holiday surprises.

Gracie Clark is Princess Snowflake. No she is not an actual royal princess but she portrays one for children's parties. She brings joy and laughter to the hearts of children with her whimsical costume and voice. Behind the scenes though she is struggling to keep her business afloat and help the other women who work for her. No one will take her seriously and this is why on a whim, her best friend enters her contest in a Royal Winterland Contest.

Princess Snowflake wins the contest and must hold up the responsibilities given to her in order to help the town that put on the contest. This town is San Glacera, and it is known for its winter tourism but has recently been struggling. In order to boost its tourism, it runs the contest which Gracie wins. Everyone is very excited for her to join in on the festivities. Well that is everyone except for the crowned Prince Nick, who thinks that this is all just one big joke.

Gracie and the crowned Prince butt heads from their first meeting but underneath this tension is some good chemistry. As they continue to move in and out of each others circles, the chemistry between them just keeps growing. There were so many cute moments between these two and I enjoyed them very much. They also help each other grow as characters and face their individual fears. Once Upon A Royal Christmas had everything that makes a Hallmark movie special and I hope that I see a filmed version soon. I vote Lacey Chabert for Gracie and Brennan Elliot for the Crowned Prince.

This was a brilliant story. It wasn't far from getting full marks. The only reason it didn't was it reminded me of another book that I read that was similar, and I had given that 5 stars. The storyline was very fairytale like. It was one of them cheesey romance books that you just love. There was so much Christmas in this book that it was bursting at the seems. I love stories like this one that just wrap you up and makes you feel all Christmasy. The characters were great, lots of different and conflicting personalities making for great drama. This book played like a movie in my mind while reading it. It stirred up so many emotions and happiness. I really recommend reading this book, especially if you had read and loved a royal Christmas fairy tale by Karen schaler as the stories are very similar. The book was well written with a fantastic pace to it. It feels like a Disney story for adults.

So much praise goes out to the author and publishers for creating such a wonderful story that I just had to read in one sitting. I will definitely be looking out for more books by this fantastic author.
