Sorry for the very late response.

I thoroughly enjoyed this latest book by Abby Jimenez. While it has the fun, quirky charm of her other books, it also had a heavier side with mental health, tough childhoods, and past relationships. I loved the characters so much, though the lack of communication trope got to be a bit annoying. I wished they would have resolved things earlier and we could have seen more of their love. Overall good read, but not my favorite of hers. 3.5 ⭐️

I prefer audiobooks specifically because of my lifestyle; with one exception Abby Jimenez. Physically reading her work transports you into that world and it's impossible not to devour the story. Each book gets better and better. This book specifically, I wish I could develop amnesia and read it again for the first time over and over! The emotions, the humor, the relatable characters; it's going to be hard to top this one for me! Thanks Abby for all your hard work in giving us stories we can't put down!

Another amazing story by Abby Jimenez. Her ability to capture every emotion and make you feel it with the characters is like none other. So many of us live with Jacob’s struggles and it was amazing to see them so beautifully translated to the page without belittling them. I’ve already read it more than once and know I’ll continue to return and read it again in the future, as I’ve done with all of Abby’s books.

Abby has done it again… A sweet little romance, sprinkled with humor, and tied up neatly with a happily ever after bow. I loved that the main characters wrote letters and was only slightly frustrated that their only problem was that neither one could believe that the other one loved them. Just talk to each other! Seriously! Is this how adults date in real life?

Abby Jimenez does it again! Everything you’d expect from Abby and then some: Quick-wit, characters you want to hang out with on a Saturday night, and some tears, just to balance all those laughs.

Abby Jimenez is not just another romance novelist. She reaches into a part of me that I did not know existed. Yours Truly is yet another story that I became apart of, rooting for the couple to fall in love; crying with them; laughing with them; loving with them. Abby’s books are my favorite romance novels, and I buy them for myself and everyone on my Christmas list!

I love Abby Jimenez’s books. The characters in this book are so wonderful and realistic. I’ve read it more than once at this point and it’s always a first recommendation if asked.

After reading Part of Your World and being absolutely head over heels for the characters, I thought to myself hmmm can Abby Jiminez really pull off another 5 star for me?

The answer? Yes. Yes she can. Yours Truly is about Bri who is a character in Part of Your World and when I tell you this book was everything and then some. I actually loved this one even more and I didn't think that would ever be possible.

It's a trope we have seen time and time again.. Fake Dating... but the characters? One of a kind. Bri and Jacob are LITERALLY some of the best written characters and the plot itself was *chefs kiss*.

Jacob is gentle and a cinnamon roll in my opinion. I absolutely loved him and he brought out the best parts in Bri. This book covered tough topics that had me tearing up and the characters had so much emotion that I couldn't help but fall in love with this book. From the first page until the last I was hooked.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed Yours Truely yet! I love how Abby intermixed her characters into her books but yet they are stand alone books.

Yours Truley kept me wanting to read it in one sitting. You want Braina and Jacob to end up together because Abby makes you fall in love with them. You will love this book too.

I absolutely loved this book and characters. The story of Brianna and Jacob’s is like no other. I loved the banter between these two, and how perfect they were for one another. Jacob is just what Brianna needs to get rid of all those insecurities.

Abby Jimenez never ceases to amaze me with her fantastic, un-put-down-able rom coms. Yours Truly lived up to the hype for me.

This story follows Briana and Jacob who are both doctors in the same hospital. The two characters start off not liking each other very much but I wouldn’t call it an enemies to lovers book.

I love that this book explores the deeper theme of anxiety and mental health through Jacob’s character arc. There were so many beautiful moments in this book and plenty of times of laughter.

If you like rom coms or have been interested in Abby Jimenez, don’t hesitate any longer! She’s the best and Yours Truly is an excellent place to start.

I devoured this book in one day. It was amazing. Every time I think I couldn’t like an Abby book more than the last one I read she proves me wrong. The characters were once again amazing and I love their story and what they both had to overcome. I love the families she created for both of them. This was so worth the read. I will have to read it again when it comes out.

Abby did it again. This book hit so hard that it took me weeks to finish processing everything. The social anxiety, medical trauma, how much these characters care for those around them... It's just such a lovely story. Abby makes it easy to believe that the world really is full of good.

Yours Truly was an amazing story of miscommunication. Bad first impressions. The way a few of my best friends were made. Second chances, third. Great story. 5 stars!

When you read a book where you relate so much to the characters and wonder if the author has been secretly living in your head. Yeah, that’s what Yours Truly sparked for me.

Abby continues her entertaining yet poignant storytelling skills in the most relatable book for me to date.

Jacob Maddox is the quiet Golden Retriever Cinnamon Roll MMC that I didn’t know I needed. He’s the anxiety riddled introvert with the largest heart of gold. And Briana, she’s the Ying to his Yang, understanding Jacob like no other person. Briana’s astute observations and taking action to remove Jacob from distressing situations speaks volumes and won my heart.

Their old school letter exchange - we’re talking ink to paper - was so witty and heartfelt that I was eager to reading the next letter as each of them were.

I was given an ARC ebook with my gratitude to the publisher and Abby.
I listened to the audiobook after reading the ebook and I throughly enjoyed Abby’s personally selected narrators that delivered a flawless portrayal of Briana and Jacob’s characters.

5 STARS

Abby knocked it out of the park again! As a local, I love the references to the Twin Cities/Minnesota (and love that it helps others fall in love with it as well). I laughed, I sniffled, I forced the rest of my book club to hear all about it.

I really enjoyed this and would highly recommend it! I loved Abby Jimenez's previous books, in this series and in the one before, and she's become an auto-read author for me. Angsty, lots of communication and some miscommunication, and a male hero who writes letters on real stationery. I loved it.
