This was a fun and easy read, with a bit of emotion, but not quite as heavy as Float Plan. I loved the adventure, witty banter, sexual tension, and charm oozing out of these characters!

So much of this book was silly and sweet as this couple traveled through the Irish countryside, getting to know each other as they embarked on a wild fling before their attendance at Keane and Anna's wedding.

This one started out strong with the spice and I loved that! The chemistry carried throughout the book. There was a great plot point of travel and planting roots. The end of the book was heavy, but I did think it joined the book together. Thank you to Net Galley for the advanced copy.

I adore this whole series and loved this book. Engaging main characters and lovable side characters, a cute plot that didn’t drag.

Synopsis:

Carla Black has been travelling the world on her own in her vintage Jeep Wrangler for almost a decade. She doesn't do love, and never goes home. Eamon Sullivan is digital cartographer - helping people find their way but is unhappy at work, and has recently been dumped. Fate throws them together in Dublin when Carla goes there for her best friend's wedding. Eamon is tasked to pick her up from the airport but what should be a simple drive across Ireland quickly becomes complicated with chemistry-filled detours, unexpected feelings, and a chance at love - if only they choose it.

Review:

I loved this book! I lived in London for a year and had a "holiday romance" and while mine didn't end up with a HEA, I know that feeling of spending time with someone just for the sake of enjoying each other's company, with no expectations, and it was so freeing! I loved the setting of the Irish countryside and the chemistry between Carla and Eamon was sizzling. I felt like I was road tripping with them - and was happy to see them grow and be better people because of each other.

Trish Doller's books are perfect beach or vacation reads! This one took us all over Ireland and definitely gave me wanderlust!

When Carla arrives in Ireland for her best friend’s wedding, Eamon (the groom’s brother) picks her up at the airport. What is supposed to be a simple drive to the wedding turns into an off roading adventure - and a chance at love. Can Carla abandon her “here for a good time, not for a long time” attitude to try for something real?

This book cemented Trish Doller as a must-read for me. I thought Carla’s personal journey was as important as the love story. This book the most “out of my comfort zone” (like I’m never going camping in a Jeep - not for me) BUT I loved it! The audiobook was great!

This one was rough for me. I don’t think it is a spoiler to say this book heavily involves a plot line regarding the FMCs father having early onset dementia. This is introduced in chapter 1.This was a big shock to me as it is not mentioned at all in the synopsis. This made the book much harder for me to read as I have personal experience with this.

However, I did find the romance engaging and the characters endearing. If I had had warning about the plot line mentioned above I believe I would have enjoyed the story more as I could have been more prepared to read that.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for my digital ARC

Another Trish Doller book, another win! I have read each book in this series and although they are each fine as a standalone, they are better when read as a set. This book wasn't the best in the series, in my opinion, but it isn't far behind the other two. Each has an emotion based slower build to a relationship. Trish Doller does a great job of making the depth and intensity genuine. I will say, in this book, I wasn't a huge fan of the realism of the dementia rep. I think it seemed just a bit too cheerful and sunny for me, and I would have almost had less exposure to the topic and had it seem more honest and real. I love the attempt at putting such a tough hitting topic in a romance novel, but it seemed to fall a little short to me. Overall, I enjoyed spending more time in the world created by these characters, seeing some flashbacks and revisits with beloved characters in other books, and seeing new ground covered.

Trish NEVER fails to give me all the feels and Off the Map was definitely no exception! I LOVED all of the characters, old and new and absolutely loved the various shenanigans that Clara and Eamon get into. The other standout of this novel is Clara's relationship with her father Biggie who has dementia. YES I cried both happy and sad tears during this book and I expect nothing less from Trish Dollar at this point!

Thank you so much for the opportunity to read this title.

I really enjoyed getting to know these characters, and how they fit together and healed each other. She was the adventurer, not willing to put down roots, He was the steady guy who dreamed of adventure.

Even though the relationship happened quickly, it didn't feel intent. It did grow gradually within the short time.

Overall this was a fun road trip adventure.

I truly wanted to love this book. I just didn’t love the main female character due to her decisions and choices. She felt very selfish and irresponsible. I also wasn’t a fan of the insta-love between Carla and Eamon. Everything just seemed too neat and tidy...

I have heard amazing things about this author and her books. I definitely want to go back and read others from her to see if I just missed the boat with this one.

I want to thank NetGalley, Trish Doller and St. Martin's Press, St. Martin's Griffin for the e-ARC of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are honest, my own and left voluntarily.

Off the Map is the third book in the Beck sisters series by Trish Doller. While this book can be read as a stand alone I would strongly suggest you read the first two books in order to have a better understanding of the minor characters mentioned often.

In this third book, Carla Black is on her way to Dublin for the wedding of her good friend, Anna, and the groom's brother is the one assigned to pick her up from the airport. Sparks fly when Eamon meets Carla at the bar, but is it possible that these two somewhat opposite personalities can find common ground, and possibly learn something from each other.

In my opinion, while this a a charming, romantic novel with well-liked characters, it is not my favorite of Trish Doller's trio of novels. The general plot fell a little flat for me, and while the sparks of Carla and Eamon together are very hot at times, I would ultimately rank this as a cute but forgettable novel.

Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin's Griffin Publishing for gifting me a copy of this novel in exchange for a review.

Trish Doller has become one of my favorite authors quick. There’s the romance aspect of her writing along with a realness that makes it feel like a friend is telling you the story.

I like that she keeps the same characters too!

Another one that was different than what I was expecting, but in a good way. First I did not realize this was in a series, but I don't think that matters. While the characters are sisters, in this one, Carla is out roaming the Irish countryside in her RV as she is heading to her sister's wedding.

In addition to the romance, this one promotes living life to its fullest. Eamon is always living to please everyone else and Carla is running from a scary situation and together they bond and work to help each other through their current situations.

I enjoyed the steamy moments in addition to the growth by both of the characters. I really rooted for the two of them to wake up and make their situation a little more than in the moment.

I loved this.

I enjoyed this so much better than book 2, but I didn't love it as much as book one.

I cannot wait to read more of Trish Doller's books. I loved the writing and the characters and the dynamics between them.

This book felt cozy, emotional, and cute and I had such a great time reading. I read in one sitting and did not put it down.

I really enjoyed this light and fun read! Great characters with great chemistry. Who doesn’t love a fun road trip book?! I would definitely read more by this author.

Love this series! This author knows how to write a good romance with plot. My favorite is the second in the series but this is a close tie with float plan.

I received a copy of this novel as an advance reader, from NetGalley, in exchange, for an honest review. I enjoyed the light read, because the characters seemed genuine as did their immediate chemistry.!

This book was very meh for me. I felt like the entire book was just focused on them hooking up. I don’t love the insta love trope so I feel like I wasn’t really into the story from the very beginning. I also feel like with books that are so short, it can be hard to give the relationship the time it needs to develop.
