I was positive that my favorite in the series was going to be book two but now I’m just not sure because this one, THIS ONE right here was so good!!! Christian is my kind of bad boy, alpha male that I actually like to read and Stella was my kind of girl!!!

This series ends with a bang, for sure! We follow Christian and Stella. She's meek and mild and needs help from a stalker. He's a powerhouse of a man and will protect her. This book is the very definition of slow burn and features a lot of forced proximity. It's a fitting end to the series, and I really enjoy the little windows into the other characters as they pop in from time to time. As I've said in my other reviews in this series, this isn't deep and profound literature, but it's perfectly lovely brain candy, with a heavy-handed dollop of smut thrown in.

Another fun and quick read by Ana Huang! The twisted series always keeps me on my toes and this was no exception. I can’t wait to get into her next series.

"If you saw yourself the way other people see you, you’d never doubt again.”
"How do other people see me?”
"Like you’re the most beautiful, most remarkable thing they’ve ever seen.”

"More than that, I wanted to bury myself inside her, paint her with my cum, and ruin her so thoroughly it made the fall of the angels look like child’s play. I would never make it to heaven, but that didn’t matter as long as she ruled beside me in hell. Stella was made to be my queen.”

Wow was this the perfect ending book to the Twisted series! I loved Stella and Christian’s story. After Christian finds out that Stella has a stalker, he takes initiative and makes her stay in his apartment, and keeps an eye on her. I freaking loved how protective he is of her!!! Christian doesn’t believe that he deserves Stella. He thinks that he has too much blood on his hands, and that she’s too innocent and clean for him to ruin. I loved how slowly, Stella shows him the light that’s inside of him. I loved how slowly she got him to open up and relax. There are a lot of forced proximity moments in this romance, and I’m all here for it! And I can’t forget, of course the steamy moments in this romance! And I mean STEAMY! We get everything from spanking to bondage to even a blindfold scene! There is also a bit of mystery and suspense to this romance with Stella’s stalker. I will say that there are a few dark and graphic moments in this book. That being said it just adds to Christians, alpha and protective side.
I am so sad to say goodbye to these characters but I hope they’ll somehow make an appearance in Ana Huang’s new series! 🤞

Read if you like:

Forced proximity
Protective hero
Alpha hero
Open door romance
A bit of suspense
A bit of dark romance

I have been hearing about these books for so long and I am so glad I got to finally read them, and better yet, marathon them. These are a bit darker than the romances I am used to but I still enjoyed them very much. I love these characters and I cannot wait for more Ana Huang in the future!

Stella is the sweetest person alive and I want to follow her on all her socials. I love series like this where you see everyone couple off in a friend group and I really loved seeing more of Christian with everybody. I really enjoyed this one and I just wish we could get more Twisted books!

This was another good book! I have really enjoyed how throughout the series it's a continuous timeline that spans over multiple years, I think it's great to be able to check back and see how previous characters are doing. That said, Twisted Lies somehow managed to feel disconnected while also being the most connected to all of them? It felt like they were very cocooned in their own little world for a lot of the book and then popped out to say hi to the entire rest of the series cast every once in a while, possibly because they were the last ones left to couple up. This one easily hit second best for the character get-togethers alone though, because they were so funny to me. Having all the previous male leads gang up on Christian when they were him only a book ago was one of the highlights of it all for me. Stella was also secretly hilarious this entire time. who knew? I did like Christian and Stella a lot, I like how extremely supportive he was of all of her dreams. I just didn't quite like how they never seem to discuss the more illegal side of his business, and everyone just pretends its okay (like how all the relationships have a fabulously wealthy one). Like some of the previous ones, I didn't entirely like how Stella and Christian's story tied up, but I did like how the entire series was tied up in the very end.

Give me a slow burn and fake dating romance and I am happy as a clam. this was an excellent addition to the series and a fun read! I had no chance and was unable to put this book down until I had finished every steamy morsel that Ana Huang had to offer.

Had to DNF the previous book in the series and I have no interest in finishing this series. It’s just not for me. I can kinda see the appeal but I won’t be reading this

Grade A Trash, there is absolutely nothing of substance to this series, but its an ok jump from spicy rom coms to smut. Just hope the readers don't get stuck here and request better books.

""I received Twisted Lies as an ARC through Net Galley**

Twisted Lies was a great way to end the series and I enjoyed Stella and Christians journey. Who doesnt love a pretend dating scheme that turns into a real relationship with a billionaire? Christian is definitely a morally gray character, but those are the best! I also loved that we still got updates from the other couples of this series and see more into their happily ever afters. The smutty scenes were also great!! Very different than other scenes throughout this series so its fresh and new! If you like morally gray male leads, mystery, and hot sex scenes, Twisted Lies is for you!!

Overall rating: 9/10
spicy rating: 4.5/5

“You will always be my first, last, and only love.”
Synopsis: He will do anything to have her… even lie. Christian Harper is charming, smart, deadly, but he is also evil dressed in a perfectly tailored suit to appear a gentleman. He doesn’t have use for morals or even love, but he feels a strange pull towards the woman living a floor below him. She’s his deepest desire and the one puzzle he cannot solve. When the opportunity to get close to her arises, he will break his own rules to offer her a deal she will be unable to refuse… Stella Alonso is shy, sweet, beautiful, and introverted despite being famous on social media, she is also a romantic that keeps her heart under lock and key. She has little time or desire for a relationship with how busy she is working two jobs. But when a threat from her past drives her into the arms of the most dangerous man she has ever met, she is tempted to let herself feel again. Despite how cold Christian is, he makes her feel everything when she is with him. Their love story is twisted with secrets and stained with lies… when the truth is finally unveiled it could shatter everything.

Thoughts: I absolutely loved this book with my entire heart, it definitely is my favorite in the Twisted series and they were all amazing! Stella was a very relatable character for me which made me love her even more! I loved watching her character development, she had so much growth in this book and I really enjoyed seeing her become more confident! Christian might just be my favorite man in the twisted series, but I definitely love them all. I LOVED that he was obsessed with Stella, that no one else mattered to him except her! His devotion, protectiveness, love for her ughhhh *swoon*. Don’t even get me started on those impeccable spicy scenes! This book had my favorite tropes and Miss Ana did an amazing job at making them intriguing and entertaining! Highly recommend everyone to read this series!!

So the twisted series comes to a close with Twisted Lies and it did not disappoint!
This series was thought out so well and agree with the order of the books and how the full story unfolded.
We knew the least about Stella Alonso and the mysterious Christian Harper and now we finally have their story. Just when I thought the Magda origin was done in book 3, we get the whole scoop here. Very much enjoyed Stella and Christian's story finding out more about the two of them, their pasts, presents, and futures. For this book loved the character growth for Stella and how Christian become more human.
Also loved the check ins with the other characters from the series and the time jumps we got into all their lives at the end of the story.

THE SLOW BURN. It was so good I was giddy when we got past the build up. Ana Huang put everything into this final book of the Twisted series and I ate it up. Christian Harper might be my favorite out of all 4 guys. '

Thank you #netgalley for an e-arc of #TwistedLies in exchange for my honest review

I would love to interview Ana Huang for my podcast, Raise Your Words. Ana Huang is an incredible writer and I love that the characters from the previous two books all interact with each other. Stella and Christian’s got this undeniable chemistry.

After reading this book, I can ensure you as a romance reader that Ana Huang does not disappoint!! The plot was so interesting and had me turning the pages nonstop. The characters were absolutely divine and definitely felt like people I could relate to on a certain level. And the romance? It had everything I love in a swoon worthy read and more! I cannot recommend this book enough!

Thank you NetGalley and Ana Huang for providing me with an ARC for Twisted Lies in exchange of my honest review.

This is the final installment of the Twisted series, where we followed a group of 4 friends: Ava, Bridget, Jules and Stella (in that order).
Twisted Lies tells the story of Stella and Christian. She is a fashion/life-style blogger that is struggling to grow her account and still have to deal with a stalker. He is the CEO of a security company that used to employ Rhys (Bridget husband now) and has a competitor that is trying to steal his clients.
They come to an arrangement to fake date to help her growth her account and he will have someone to accompany him in social functions.
I dare say that this book was my favorite of the series. I really enjoyed how their relationship developed organically and I could totally see myself falling in love for Christian. Stella was also a great character in the sense that she is strong willed and is putting herself out of her comfort zone. I liked that she also knows how to ask for help from Christian and her friends when she is in face of a problem that she cannot deal with it alone (her stalker) .
This book also had the perfect balance of plot, character development and spice (yes it does have quite a bit of spice as all the other books in the series). Very good tropes used in the context of the story, such as fake dating, grumpy and sunshine among others.
I loved the banter in this book, how charming and utterly enamored Christian was! It was such a good end of a series that I feel 5 stars is very fair!
Another note, this is not a romcom, but it's not super dark. I would recommend checking trigger warnings but for those that would like to try it out dark romance, maybe you can start with this series that it's on the lighter side.

This was a captivating read! The best one out of the entire series. The story of Christian and Stella unfolds in a way that has the reader invested in the success of the relationship. Enjoyed how past characters make an appearance and the reader is able to have those friendship group moments throughout the book.

Thank you NetGalley for the ebook version.

Thank you NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for a free ARC in exchange for an honest review! This book was everything I could have hoped for and more. Hands down my favorite book out of the series. If I could give this book a million stars I would. One of the top books I’ve read this year, and there isn’t a single thing I would change about it. Stella and Christian will always have all my love. This series is absolutely phenomenal, and I cannot wait to see what Ana does next.
