It was difficult to put this book down as well. The emotional rollercoaster that Embry was facing and the constant changes throughout the book kept me guessing. The cliffhanger at the end made me very glad that I already had the third book to continue where American Prince left off.

I really enjoyed the past and present viewpoints. It brought an additional element to the book that I think helped the reader under the character of Embry and the way he is and why he is. It brought an understanding and a different perspective to the reader in the events that occurred to Ash's character and Greer's character.

The spice was HOT. It surpassed the first one and exceeded my expectations. Sierra Simone knows how to captivate an audience with the correct words. It was enjoyable to read to say the least.

Gripping follow-up to American Queen; the 2nd in the New Camelot series. This one picks up where the cliffhanger in AQ ended and also tells Embry's story. American Prince is steamy, emotional and secrets revealed that affect many lives intertwined. This book also ends in a cliffhanger, so it is advisable to read all 3 in sequence for the best experience.

The cover made the book seem contemporary. I was not expecting magic. Oops! It's a reprint so I should have paid more attention, I suppose. I stopped at the first chapter.

Thanks to NetGalley and Blook Books for the ARC.

Ok, so the beginning of the book is still giving me scandal fanfic vibes.

But once we start getting into the multiple PoVs and the different timelines, wow!

Embry is such a wild character. He loves so passionately that he doesn’t care. He fought so hard not to fall for Ash, but so quickly fell for Greer. And the fact Embry and Ash liken their selves to Achilles and Patroclus ❤️ omg ❤️The forest scene 🔥

The devastation Ash goes through when he is constantly rejected by Embry, but keeps going to him because his heart can’t help but love him 💔

Abeline is the epitome of a miserable women who blames everyone apart from her personality for her life being rubbish. I really don’t like her!

The ending! Omg!!!

4.25 stars! American Prince picks up right where the first book left off. I loved the dual POV this time and that we finally got inside Embry’s head. Oh Embry…my heart continued to break for him and all the sacrifices he made (although some made me want to yell at my kindle). I enjoyed the storyline better in the 2nd book, and although political plots aren’t typically my thing, I was really into it! I absolutely love this trio and as much as I don’t want this series to end, I need to read American King asap.

After loving American Queen so much I was very invested in this continuing story. After finishing this one I can say this trilogy is turning out a bit differently than I anticipated which is not necessarily a bad thing but a factor in my enjoyment of it nonetheless.

The timeline of this one is a tad chaotic. When compared directly with #1 it doesn’t flow as smoothly but does keep you on the edge of your seat more. I was expecting to only have Embry’s POV so I was pleasantly surprised to get a little bit of Greer’s popping in. I felt like the darkness factor of one particular storyline was handled well and would not be too dark for most readers.

This book is somewhat active military heavy which is definitely new for me for a romance, but I believe was told in compelling ways that kept me interested and was still focused on the relationship. I loved that additional context on the backstory that was hinted at in #1 and never felt like it was backtracking or retelling.

By the end of this there were some tropes popping up that I tend to dislike but I’m holding out hope for resolution in #3. I am a huge fan of Sierra Simone so if anyone can get me to like them it would be her. Thank you so much to NetGalley and Bloom for this ARC.

I was super excited to read these books. I've heard so many great things about them and I have enjoyed the author's other work.

Unfortunately, I had to DNF the series because one of the characters is 16 when adult interactions begin. There is nuance, but it was still to far for me personally.

Thank you Simone, Bloom Books, and Netgalley for my audio advanced review copy. My opinions are my own.

I wish I could do half stars because this was a great 3.5! I loved getting into Embry’s brain and this book had a lot more substance than the first of the series. Embry is a really dynamic character and when we look at Ash through his eyes, we see a lot more dimension in him than when we were in Greer’s. I felt like most of the characters, except for Greer, were much more fleshed out in this sequel and I enjoyed the addition of more plot.

American Prince by Sierra Simone is a gripping and steamy addition to the polyamorous romance trilogy that began with American Queen. The story is a perfect blend of politics, passion, and intrigue.

The focus of this novel is on Embry Moore, the vice president of the United States, who serves at the pleasure of the president. Embry has had a troubled past and has fought many personal battles. The only time he finds peace is when he is with his king and queen, Maxen Ashley Colchester, and Greer Galloway. However, when the first lady is kidnapped, chaos ensues, and the delicate balance the three of them have created is threatened.

The novel is fast-paced, and the characters are complex and well-developed. Embry's struggles with jealousy, secrets, and betrayals make him relatable and human. The steamy scenes between the characters are scorching, and the emotions are palpable.

The author has done an excellent job of weaving together a story that is both sensual and thought-provoking. The political backdrop adds depth to the story and raises relevant questions about power, politics, and relationships. The ending leaves readers eagerly waiting for the final installment in the trilogy.

Overall, American Prince is a must-read for fans of romance novels. The book is well-written, engaging, and will keep readers on the edge of their seats until the very end. Sierra Simone has once again proved that she is a master of the genre.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Speechless. This book was unreal.
Sierra Simone knows how to write a gasp worthy, omg, clutch your pearls, spiiiiiiiicyyyy, book!

This book is book #2 in the Camelot series. I recommend reading American Queen first though. It’s a great book and you’ll definitely have a better understanding of what is going on.

Embry is Army Captain and Vice President of the United States. Ash is President. And Greer is the First Lady. They are all in love with each other and on Ash and Greer’s wedding night, the three of them solidified that they would be in a polyamorous marriage. Then Greer is kidnapped and Embry goes to rescue her.

This book is Embry’s Pov. It’s his story of how he fell in love with Ash and all the sacrifices he has made along the way. He would do anything for the two people he loves most.

The ending of this book took an unexpected turn and I was completely shocked! I am going to immediately read the next book in this series, American King.

This book was hot, emotional, and great! A must read!

An upgrade from the first book? Absolutely.

As much as I enjoyed the first book, Embry's story is such a rich mix of sexy + tenderness + heartbreak and overall love in all shapes and forms.

This is the kind of erotica you want to read and re read for the rest of eternity.

Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the chance of reading the e-arc in exchange for an honest review.

I am completely speechless right now, utterly and completely speechless.

I was stressed. I was scared. I was nervous. I was a wreck and now I’m left like this. What in the world is happening?

This book was HOT and emotional, and all around insane, but not nothing prepared me for this.

I thought something like this ending was going to happen, but I wasn’t fully comprehending my thoughts when I thought them and this ending has left me with my mouth on the floor and I can’t even comprehend.

This book was a roller coaster ride.

After that ending in the first book, I was excited to get to this book and when I started it I was surprised
.
I did not expect to find the story of Embry, one of the points of this story in this polyamorous relationship
.
Embry tells his story, and how he meets the two most important people in his life and among these reflections of the past is the present and the continuation of the first book
.
Greer was kidnapped on their wedding night while they were sleeping and now Maxen and Embry are going to try to do everything they can to get there in time to rescue her
.
In this book, the intrigues and mistakes of the past become heavier, but you can also see more of Embry's feelings towards Greer and Maxen. Accompanied by some chapters in the skin of Greer
.
I loved this version of Lancelot, no the parts with Abilene, that's my limit. But the relationship between Greer, Embry and Maxen was perfect, the chemistry and the dialogues gave the perfect closure to each action. It is the perfect combination of smut scenes and the details of the feelings of each character, I think it can melt anyone
.
Thanks to Sierra Simone and Source books bloom for give me a copy of this beautiful book in exchange for my honest and voluntary opinion

Oh Embry!!! Thank you for giving us Embry’s story, but also still giving us Greer’s POV! Man I feel so bad for Embry, and Ash doesn’t even realize all that he has sacrificed for him! Ugh the ending made angry and devastated for everyone! I can’t wait to read Ash’s story next!

Thank you Bloom books for my gifted arc in exchange for an honest review!

* I received an e-copy of this book from NetGalley. Thank you NetGalley and Bloom Books for the gifted copy. All thoughts are my own.

I read the first book in this series a couple years ago now so when I saw that the series was available for request in NetGalley I jumped at the chance. I actually bought the ebooks in German by accident after reading book one and I do not speak German… so I never got around to finishing the series out.

I’ll start off by saying I really like Embry and Greer and Sierra Simone does a fantastic job at building complex characters. I just don’t love Ash and he’s the connecting piece. He’s just too harsh for my taste. This book builds out Embry and Ash’s back story so that we have all of the context of their relationship. I found it interesting, but since they met during the war it was just too much for me. I really had no interest in the war scenes themselves. However, I am interested to see how book three plays out and how much we learn about Ash.

This series is written for a particular reader so I would recommend it to them, but for anyone who isn’t already a fan of this genre I would not.
