Thank you to Netgally, the publishers, and Brianna Labuskes

When I requested this book I was unaware that it was apart of a series, one that requires you to read the previous books for this one to make sense. I am unable to read all the previous books along with this one before the publish date. Therefore, I will rate this a fair 3/5 stars and will adjust the rating and review when I am able to read all the books in the series along with this one.

Thank you to Netgalley and the Publisher for this ARC in return for an honest review.

See it End by Brianna Labuskes is another instalment in the Dr Gretchen White and Detective Lauren Marconi saga and I loved it as much as the other books! In this book, Marconi is arrested for murder but Gretchen is convinced she is innocent. When she sets out to prove this, she finds more questions than answers.

I love these two characters and seeing the development of Gretchen in this book was really enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this to fans of this author and also fans of crime thrillers!

Well I will be short on this review. The book was OK. For me there were too many characters and time jumps that I was confused majority of the time.
The story itself was decent but I saw the ending from a mile. Also most of the time I was like “OK I get it, Gretchen is a psychopath, now get to the point”.
It took me almost 4 months to finish it, and for such a short book it’s not a good sign.
I can’t say I recommend it, but seeing the rating and other reviews it’s definitely a “me” problem, not the book.

Oh my gosh! The beginning of the book wrapped me into the story and I couldn't stop reading it!

Absolutely loved it, another great book featuring Gretchen White and Lauren Marconi. Fantastic story that is gripping and suspenseful. Love the development of the relationship between Gretchen and Lauren along with Lauren's boyfriend Lachlan.

See It End is the third installment in the Dr. Gretchen White series, a thrilling and suspenseful psychological crime novel by Brianna Labuskes. The protagonist, Gretchen, is a criminologist, psychologist and sociopath who helps the Boston Police Department solve complex cases. In this book, she faces a personal dilemma when her friend and colleague, Detective Lauren Marconi, is arrested for a cold-blooded murder that she confesses to. Gretchen is convinced that Lauren is innocent, but she has to work with Lauren’s boyfriend, Lachlan Gibbs, an Internal Affairs officer who doesn’t trust her. As they dig deeper into the case, they uncover Lauren’s dark secrets and a decade-long obsession with the victim. Gretchen begins to question her own instincts and judgment, while trying to save Lauren from a grim fate.

I enjoyed this book very much, as it kept me hooked from the first page to the last. The plot was well-crafted and full of twists and turns that kept me guessing until the end. The characters were complex and realistic, each with their own flaws and motivations. I especially liked Gretchen, who was a fascinating and unconventional heroine. She was smart, witty and ruthless, but also vulnerable and loyal to her friends. Her sociopathic traits added an extra layer of intrigue and unpredictability to the story. The writing style was crisp and engaging, with vivid descriptions and sharp dialogue. The author did a great job of creating a tense and atmospheric setting that suited the dark tone of the story.

I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a good psychological thriller with a strong female lead and a gripping mystery. It can be read as a standalone, but I would suggest reading the previous books in the series first to get a better understanding of Gretchen’s background and personality. See It End is a brilliant and satisfying conclusion to the Dr. Gretchen White series, and I hope to read more from this talented author in the future.

I wanted to like the premise of this book a lot, and I did not realize it was a part of series. That being said, I would suggest reading the first two books before this one. This novel is told in multiple points of view and jumps timelines, making it hard to follow at times, making it drag on. The ending felt like it could be the ending of the series, or leave room for another novel, but no glaring cliff hangers. The premise was a refreshing take in the thriller genre, one that is appreciated.

I want to thank Netgalley and Thomas & Mercer for an ARC of this book.

I loved this book, which is part three in a series. It was full of mysteries to try to solve, and characters to figure out! I am interested to see if the author continues this series, or if she will create more series. Her writing style and attention to detail (especially when building the atmosphere) kept me intrigued!

A riveting novel that grips readers from the opening pages and doesn't let go until the final revelation. With its well-drawn characters, intricate plot, and psychological depth it is a compelling tale of suspense. If you're a fan of psychological thrillers that challenge perceptions and keep you guessing until the end, this novel is a must-read.

Thank you to NetGalley, Thomas & Mercer and author Brianna Labuskes for the advance read copy of this book.

I love the Marconi and Gretchen duo.
The compliment each other perfectly in this series.
Marconi being a bit more by the book in her policing career and Gretchen not giving a rats behind about procedure as long as she gets to the bottom of what’s going on.

Love, love this series.

I did not finish this one, it was not for me, I couldn't relate to the characters, and just did not care for the story.

Thank you to NetGalley, Brianna Labuskes and Thomas & Mercer for the free e-book in exchange for an honest review.

I really love the first chapter of this book so much - just such a good opener. I really enjoyed the plot on this one and how much I wanted more Gretchen and her life. Definitely a nice paced thrilling novel!

The third book of this series is truly the best of all.

Why? Cause it is completely different. Have a vibe I have not expected and the plot that definitely change the way I see the main character and discover her inner features. Gretchen has a chance to show us what is really hidden inside her head, the way she see the worlds, relations. This can surprise even herself.

Laura Marconi, the detective she works close with, is accused of cold-hearted murder. Sounds unbelievable? Kinda, but Laura confessed to do it and ask Gretchen to not investigate and just accept it. White does not let bad things happen to her only friend and despite that, starts asking questions and led the case herself, not in the official way, but definitely more effective.

The truth about Laura, her life, previous experiences and reasons why she did some things, may be a huge surpise not only to Gretchen, but also for any reader immersing themselves into this story.

Unpredictable, brilliant, piece of art! 5/5

Although I haven’t read any others in the series I was able to jump right into this one and it really hit all the right spots for me. I love the dual timelines and the multiple POV’s so I was sucked right in. The characters felt so real, I find in some thrillers I’m questioning every decision the characters make cause it feels so forced but Gretchen and Marconi felt so natural and worked so well together. Over all I loved this book, the twists and diving deep into the characters. I’ll be checking out Brianna’s other books for sure!

I didn't realize that this was part of a series when I requested it, and now that I have finished this one, I'm eager to read the earlier novels in the series. We are following Dr. Gretchen White as she looks into the potential murder caused by her detective acquaintance Lauren Marconi. What I will say is that Gretchen is not a force to be reconned with! This story was very well crafted and paced, even if the ending was a bit over the top and far fetched. But all in all, a fantastic read from Brianna Labuskes! Thanks for the published for this advanced copy in exchange for my review.
