Thanks to NetGalley, Lisa Brideau, and the publisher for allowing me to read and review this debut author’s book.

As a thriller, it was strongly encompassing. It was different in that the story was set in the future and the main character’s role was markedly different from other novels. It is about knowing yourself and what is important to you as an individual. It combines mystery with emotional and seriously physical conflict and puts the heroine in some unbelievable situations. It’s a great read from this debut author.

This was a little hard to get into. It drew my interest but struggled to keep it a few times throughout. What I did like was the setting a little into the future and seeing the realistic possibilities it holds, but in a scary way. Reading about someone with memory loss is always fascinating to me and this one's revelations we're just as intriguing and at the same time frightening. Three Stars.

Thank you Netgalley and Sourcebooks Landmark for this ARC.

I didn’t get through the first ten pages

I couldn’t understand what was going on because everything was happening so fast. There was no pause for understanding and no dramatic build up
