I don't think I was the intended audience for the book so I didn't really enjoy it, however the technique and the wordplay were really good and I would recommend others' reviews instead of mine.

this was a beautifully done children's novel, I thoroughly enjoyed what was happening in this story. It worked so well as a fantasy novel, the characters were really well written and worked in this world. I enjoyed the way Jonathan Starrett wrote this and hope there is more from him and this universe.
