Blind Trust put this romantic thriller reader in her happy place. I enjoyed the wild ride that Lyla and Nicolas put me through because it had romance, twists, suspense and much more. I love the whole gang of the SNAP agency and I am sad this is the last book in the series. The author outdid herself with this awesome conclusion.
*I was given a copy of this book by Revell Publishing and this is my honest opinion.

Blind Trust by Natalie Walters
Such a great conclusion to the SNAP series. This book was action packed from the very beginning. I could not put it down and enjoyed every minute of Lyla's and Nicolás' story. I loved every book in this series and this was such a great finale. The writing was so well done, the story flowed, and the characters are so realistic. Definitely recommend this book and the whole SNAP Agency series. If you are looking for action and romance, this is a great choice!

This is another exciting book about the SNAP agency. The characters are well developed and the action is suspenseful. The author gives enough description to make you feel a part of the action. Natalie Walters gives another award winning book.

Lyla’s impulsive actions often put her in the cross hairs of the bad guys. Nicholas’ steady and sure habits cause Lyla to want to scream. As they work together at SNAP they are often at odds. Everyone but them seem to know it is because of how much they care for each other.

When a man Lyla previously sent to jail sends her message s, she is angry and frustrated. Nicholas is afraid she is rushing into danger. Then Lyla’s world is turned upside down leaving her questioning everything she has believed in and trusted. Where can she turn? Who can she trust?

Nicholas’ fear causes him to accept an overseas assignment without telling Lyla. As the body count increases and the messages become threats and even attempts on Lyla’s life, she and Nicholas both grapple with doing the right thing.

Will Nicholas decide to made his change permanent? Will those trying to kill Lyla succeed? Will Lyla and Nicholas finally accept and face their feelings for each other.

This final book in the series is filled with danger. Intrigue, resentment nance and even a bit of comedy. It will keep you turning the pages.

I received this ARC for the promise of a completely honest review.

A phenomenal conclusion to the SNAP Agency series! I couldn’t put it down!
I have been looking forward to Lyla’s and Garcia’s story and this book exceeded all my expectations! We finally get the background story on both characters that explains why Garcia is always frustrated with Lyla’s lack of self-preservation in dangerous situations. This book was non-stop action from the very beginning with some extremely shocking revelations. The characters also have great humor that had me laughing out loud at times. Overall I think Natalie Walters tied the entire series together beautifully. Can’t recommend this book enough!

Such a thrilling conclusion to the SNAP Agency series! Highly recommend that you read Initium, the prequel to the series, before reading this book if you hadn't! I really enjoyed the authenticity of the characters and the slow-burn romance. Sometimes you don't see what's right in front of you. I really enjoyed Lyla and Garcia's story and am very sad that this is the last book in the series.

Wow, this was intense! A touching love story wrapped inside a pulse-pounding suspense story. with humor and unexpected twists.

Nic and Lyla were interested in each other from the beginning, but they weren't ready to admit their feelings. they kept the tension long without overdoing it. Inspirational suspense, fast-paced, with enough plot twists to keep the pages turning. Overall, a fantastic read, a clean romance, and well-written.

There were a lot of characters running and playing parts in this book and it had me confused a few times. It can be read as stand-alone, but I will recommend reading previous books and knowing recurring characters.

Natalie Walters has once again delivered an absolute winner of a story! One of the best things about the last book in a series like this is you have two previous books to really draw a reader in. We've been waiting, ever so patiently, for Lyla and Nicolas's story. And this does not disappoint! Not only is their relationship on point, but there's a darn good mystery to boot. Oh, as well as some twists and turns you probably won't see coming. And if all of these things aren't enough for you, Kekoa and his humor, will definitely be a crowd pleaser! There is so much to love about this book and without sharing more, so as to not give anything away, I'll just say, this is a book, a series actually, not to be missed!

Non timebo mala – I will fear no evil.

Lyla Fox has seen plenty of evil working with SNAP, and now has every reason to fear when she receives a threatening letter from a man she helped put in prison.

Nicolas Garcia is Lyla’s opposite in every way, and nothing drives him crazier than Lyla’s impulsive nature that tends to land her in some pretty dicey situations. Now, she may have just gotten herself into her most dangerous situation of all.

OH. MY. GOSH. THIS BOOK!!!!!! Yes, that many exclamation points are that necessary. I’m really surprised I didn’t chuck this book (or my phone rather) across the room with the amount of times I screamed, “NO WAY,” reading this book. I just alkjfowie.

Okay, now that I’ve gotten all of that out.

One of my biggest issues with romantic-suspense is that a lot of times there’s so much of one that it effects the quality of the other. I think Natalie Walters has found the magic middle ground with just enough romance to make you swoon (yes, Kekoa, people do swoon), but still enough suspense to make you feel like you’re watching any number of classic spy/suspense books. That leads me to say FINALLY! Poor Garcia is out of his misery now. I’ve really felt for that dude throughout this series. The suspense in this book had me holding my breath at points, especially at the end. The conspiracy theory vibe throughout it? *chef kiss*

I heard someone say you should read Initium before you read Blind Trust, and I couldn’t agree more. I’m not the biggest fan of novellas, so I hadn’t read Initium yet. I decided to go ahead and read it, and boy am I glad that I did! It’s not that Blind Trust is ruined if you don’t read Initium first. It’s more that Blind Trust is enhanced when you decided to read Initium first. Which begs the question…how long has Natalie Walters been setting this up? I want to know if this was always the plan or was she just like, “Eh, that’d be cool.”

A compelling addition to the SNAP Agency series and a perfect conclusion to it, this book tells the story of Lyla and Garcia. Lyla is generally impulsive and at times recklessly disregards her own safety in order to follow up on leads. Garcia, her partner and self-appointed protector, is not happy when Lyla is targeted and endangered by unknown persons. The two of them have to work together to find out where the threat is coming from before Lyla is eliminated for good. The suspense was breath-stopping at times as Lyla ran towards danger and Garcia was hard pressed to keep her safe. I really enjoyed learning more about the characters in the series as more of their backstories was revealed, making the characters totally realistic and believable. This is a powerful and engrossing story of weapons sold for profit, with action ramping up from chapter to chapter until the brilliantly written and explosive conclusion. With multiple layers that disclose secrets about Lyla’s past and a developing relationship between the protagonists, there was nothing not to like about this richly told terrifying story that crackled with tension. I really enjoyed meeting all of the characters from previous SNAP Agency books, especially Kekoa, a favorite with his witty banter and comic relief. The pace was fast, the action was non-stop and the characters were dynamic and original. This book was a perfect conclusion to a series that I was sad to see end, but it ended in a satisfying and well-crafted way. Kudos to the author for a remarkable job of writing a series that captivated me from beginning to end and a conclusion that held me spellbound!

Do you enjoy reading action packed books that keep you turning the pages, books with unforgettable characters, books that keep you on the edge of your seat, make you laugh, and wish the story didn’t end? If so, “Blind Trust” by Natalie Walters is the book for you. This book is so well written that it takes you in from the first page and holds onto you until the end – and then you don’t want to let go. The characters are wonderful and described so well that it’s as if you are in the room with them and ready to join in on the conversation.

**4.5/5 Stars**

I have been eagerly waiting for Blind Trust by Natalie Walters. Lyla and Nicolás are complex characters, and while the previous books in “The SNAP Agency” trilogy hints at who they are, Blind Trust opens them up to readers—the good, the bad, and the ugly. Lyla is reckless to a fault, and she sometimes disregards instructions. Nicolás always has her back, but he worries Lyla will find herself in danger…a danger from which there is no escape. He does not want to think about what it might do to his heart or to those of their entire team. Slowly but surely, Natalie Walters breaks Lyla and Nicolás’s walls. The dams burst, and Walters takes readers on another wild ride. I don’t want to leave the SNAP Agency behind and will be revisiting it!

Just like the previous books, Blind Trust by Natalie Walters balances romance with humor and suspense. I loved it, but Walters dropped a lot of character names. I started mixing up people, which proved to be a problem. I need a map of how they all connected, but the story needed all the characters for all the pieces to fit together into a puzzle that eventually made sense. Nothing in Blind Trust is simple. The relationships. The characters’ pasts. The plotline. Readers will be scratching their heads to figure things out, just like I did. But I would not have it any other way. No predictability for me, please and thank you!

Walters kept the romance subtle. She builds it between Lyla and Nic from the first book in the series until its apex in Blind Trust…and I loved that. It is so hard to maintain a balance between romance and suspense, and Natalie Walters is among the best at that. While Blind Trust can stand on its own, I would recommend reading the other two full-length books in the series. They give readers the appropriate backgrounds for every character and for the final novel’s plot.

I read Blind Trust in a day. I dove in willingly from page one, and I kept swimming. The rapids did not deter me. If anything, they pushed me to swim harder—to continue reading until I reached the final page. Blind Trust by Natalie Walters is exhilarating from beginning to end. I can hardly wait to see what Natalie Walters will write next…and I will be pre-purchasing the novel as soon as I find out!

Blind Trust was a wonderful wrap up to the SNAP series. SNAP stands for Strategic Neutralization and Protection Agency. The SNAP team of five work together like family to neutralize threats nationally and globally. From the prequel and first two books, we see the attraction between Lyla Fox and Nicolas Garcia. However, both fight it and refuse to acknowledge it. The slow burn between the risky spitfire and the serious explosives expert builds throughout the series and I couldn’t wait to see how the two of them would finally come together. In Blind Trust, Lyla is threatened by someone in her past which leads the entire team on a hunt for an international arms scheme spanning 25 years. As the risks get closer, so do Lyla and Nicolas.
Blind Trust is full of suspense and tension balanced with humor and banter. The friendships between characters draw you in and make you want to join the team yourself. I loved this book and highly recommend this entire series. Although this book could be read as a standalone, I encourage you to read the entire series in order to better enjoy and appreciate the story.

I have been anticipating this book for a while. When Natalie Walters first introduced the two main characters of this book, Lyla Fox and Nicolas Garcia, in the previous books in the series, I couldn’t wait to read their story. And now it’s here.

It’s a great story and it brings the series to a great end. Although I am sad to see it end. It was great to see the other characters again, especially Kekoa, who is a favorite. I thoroughly enjoyed this one.

My thanks to the publisher for a copy of the book via the Net Galley platform.

3.5 stars ✨

This book is a fitting conclusion to probably the best suspense series I've read in ages.

I loved the team, I loved the action, and y'all I loved the slow burn romance. Finally we have a romance that doesn't interfere with the action and moves at a realistic pace for two coworkers who have been more often fighting than friendly. There were high expectations all around for Garcia + Lyla's story, and I'm sure the author felt the pressure, but she pulled it off!

That being said, I did find Lyla's character got on my nerves, as everything about her headstrong personality clashes with my own. She was just so impulsive and we definitely would never get along in real life. *apologies to any of my friends that had an "I feel seen" moment with Lyla... *

Both of the main characters seemed to be total opposites. Lyla was skilled, determined and almost unstoppable when she got an idea in her head; regardless of the danger. Nicolás was on the other side of the scale becomes SO cautious in his approach. Some think he is TOO cautious; especially Lyla. But they both were the same when it came to their devotion to stopping evil. There was quite a bit of angst when it came to Nicolás thinking he could change or fix Lyla.
I did find it a bit distracting when it came to Nicolás and his constant messing with his ball cap.
I loved the team and some of their in office and off site humor. They really did come through as a family.
I have to admit that for quite a while I was almost dizzy when it came to all the "leads" that the team got that turned out to be dead-ends. I got lost for a while. BUT the best part really comes through towards the end with several BIG surprises. I liked how that all came about. I love it when something comes out that I didn't see coming.

Nicolás and Lyla were an amazing duo. Their dedication and race against the clock to keep Lyla safe made for a captivating read. This fast pace romantic suspense is definitely going on my reread list.

I have been waiting a loooooong time to get Lyla and Nicolas's story! They have been the most fun, slow-burn romance couple since book 1!

I loved that I was immediately able to jump right back into the SNAP Agency setting. This author wasted no time getting things moving. I loved that this book was fast-paced and un-put-downable. The multiple POV's helped keep me jumping from one scene to another and dying to know what was happening during each chapter. I felt like this book gave me so much more insight to these characters because I've been following them around since book 1. Kekoa is still a fan fave for me, and I loved seeing him be in this book as much as he was. The friendships in this agency are top notch. I feel like I'm a part of the group when I read these books.

Lyla is still as stubborn and headstrong as she has been in previous books, but it was fun to get inside her head more to know WHY she is like that. Her personality conflicts with Nicolas' and seeing his frustration from his point of view was both exasperating and entertaining.

The intrigue and suspense kept the pages turning quickly and I am already planning a reread of this entire series because I am not ready to give these characters up! I loved the intertwining threads of faith. This author knows how to add just the right amount to make it oh so inspiring!

The plot twists in this book I DID NOT SEE COMING! Ahhh, I love when authors throw me for a loop. I like being able to foreshadow and predict, but when I'm rushing to figure out the mystery just as fast as the characters that can be next level entertaining!

Five stars for this book and series!

Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the copy. All thoughts in this review are my own.

Natalie Walters totally hit it out of the park with this last SNAP Agency novel! This is THE best book I’ve read in quite some time!!

The suspense is real, to be sure, but it isn’t gory like a lot of suspense novels I’ve read lately. Better yet, the words flow so smoothly that you don’t even realize you’ve just devoured half of the book in one sitting! The characters are so wonderful, despite their brokenness, that it’s hard not to immerse yourself fully into their story, in hopes that everything is going to turn out splendid for the entire team!

To avoid major spoilers, this is one series I would highly recommend starting with the prequel novella, Initium, and then working your way through the series in order.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
