All in all, Diego Maradona: The Last Interview and Other Conversations is a good illustration of how Maradona's thinking has changed. At first, the young, budding talent only dreamed of playing in the World Cup. But throughout his career he was almost constantly offended, eventually talking about how if players from outside Europe had won a Ballon d'Or in his day, he would have won five or six. Also telling is his attitude over the years to Napoli, the scene of his greatest club successes, and to the people of Naples and Italy.

I really never knew anything about Diego Maradona and have been enjoying the last interview series. It's been a way to learn about the person behind the celebrity. It's still really well done and I'm glad I was able to continue the series.
