THANK YOU TO NETGALLEY FOR AN ARC OF THIS BOOK IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW!

I loved this book!!
Enemies to lovers is one of my favorite tropes. And let me tell you the pet names in the book are just great! I mean chucky/red and the prince of darkness. You can't get more humor than that. There is so much banter between the two characters you can tell something has to give for these two. This was a well-done book 3. I was very impressed and will be recommending it to my friends.

DNF @ 5 % or so.
I couldn't get interested because, from the first sentence, the reader is thrown into a scene without any explanation of what, where, why, or who. I don't know any of the people mentioned because they were apparently introduced in a previous book and the author left it there. This is a mistake if a book is a standalone, the reader needs to know in each book who is who. Apparently, someone has been kidnapped and the characters were in a bar??? This is what I sort of got out of context but I have no idea why and who.

Pretty good book.... Some humor, drama and a whole lot of hot scenes.... A reporter and a man running for state senator...sparks fly with these two.... Totally would read it again..

Thanks to Netgalley for a copy of this book for an honest review.

Hot!! Jackson and Abigail have an amazing chemistry and their banter is hilarious. Abigail's family are appalling but it just makes the people she chooses to surround herself with even better. Would love to read more about Julia!

Complimentary copy provided by NetGalley and the publisher for my honest review and opinion. Jackson and Abigail are opposites attract, but Abigail is not ready to fall for another man with fidelity issues. It's a good thing that Jackson isn't one to give up.

I feel as if maybe if I read other stories that linked with this one, I’d understand it better even though it was considered a stand alone. That being said I really liked the Main female lead however; her family was simply appalling!

The main character were nice, enjoyable.
I found them catchy
I was quite shocking by the female character's family. Is that even possible to act like that ?
Her family need several slap ! the way they act regarding her, that is awful !
Somehow its show that you never really know how people can act, or what they can do.
Near the end she think the male character cheat on her, that the moment she's not smart in the story. You just want to tell her "do you where you are and with whom ? Think twice before acting !!"

Even though this says it's standalone, the reader will miss a lot -- like I felt -- by not knowing the previous stories. It's actually discombobulating because it starts with some time jumps that may have overlapped with other stories and seemed to have jumped off from Book 2 action. Sometimes I don't mind being dumped in the middle of an action scene/moment, but this really made me feel like I inconveniently walked in on something when what I wished happened was a slight rewind to get me up to speed.

Also, I don't mind sex scenes, but I felt as if there should be a point. When it just feels as if we're adding another without advancing story, it kind of got boring.

The Other One by Kate Randall was too damn good!
This is book three in The Ones Series.
I now have to get book one and two.

The writing was phenomenal. Kate grabbed me and pulled me in full force.
A thrilling page turner with a sizzling romance full of heart and a delicious ending.
And this girl? I devoured every page of it.
There is plenty of drama to entertain you, as well as a lot of steamy scenes between Abigail and Jackson.
I need the rest of this series and I need them now.

'Her fire is in my blood. Now I’ll show her I would gladly burn for her.'

Thank you Victory Editing Netgalley Co-op for the arc in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Hot damn. While this book was all drama, the steamy scenes were good. Intense 🔥🥵

The story felt rushed and there were holes all over, with the time skips, maybe because I haven’t read the first two books, so I didn’t quite get into the story.

I tried to like the enemies-to-lovers trope in this one, but I just don’t understand what made them “enemies”. Most of the conflicts were weak and being blown out of proportion.

Oh I wish Abigail’s family got karma or something. Davis, too. And Everly. This was one thing that was lacking.

3 stars. The book comes out 20 October 2022 :)

I loved book one in this series, thought book two was ok but knew Jackson and Abigail would be a hot mess with their “I don’t want you” banter. Personally, I love the relationships that don’t fight against their attraction but I was able to see their relationship building in the midst of the “fighting” and it was fun to see how it all unfolded. All the spice is there for sure as is the drama (some of it over-reacted to) making for a good book three.

I really wanted to love this nook by a debut author. It just didn’t do it for me. :(. Thank you to NetGalley and the author for this early read.

As soon as I got this downloaded, I was nose to reader. It's sexy, genuine, characters who had me falling hard for them. It made me mad that I have to blink because I didn't want to miss a moment not even any punctuation.
