This book deals with losing a loved one. The pace is very slow. I found it hard to connect with the characters. This is well written

A moving story, told from several different perspectives, about the intricacies of family, love and loss. We learn that while tragedy can tear us apart, it can also bring us back together, better and stronger. I liked it.

What a beautiful read this was. Thoroughly enjoyed it from the very start. It was a poignant story of a bereaved family and how they accept and help each other through it. Beautifully written and highly recommended.

Thank you Netgalley.

This was my first time reading a book from the author but I am delighted to say I thoroughly enjoyed the story and I look forward to reading more books from the writer in the future

I love Lucy Diamond. This book was absolutely heartbreaking, and I have to admit I shed a few tears. But I highly recommend this book. It was lovely and heartwarming. All of the characters were delightful.

Heartbreaking but so absorbing. Not many books can reduce me to tears in the first third, but this one did just that. This was very hightly recommended by a friend and I was so pleasantly surprised. Really heartwarming but equally heartbreaking read. Loved all of the characters, the writing style and plot. What more could you ask for. Thank you!

An interesting tale of grief and moving forward, but I found it hard to get into at times. It started out incredibly slowly, and takes a rather long time (almost a third of the book) to kick into gear.

Such a powerful emotional read. With wise words and love the family drama is told honestly with wisdom.

This book follows the story of the dysfunctional Mackenzie family. When Leni dies suddenly each family member deals with grief

Whilst on the search of dealing with grief, and answers to Lenin’s death they all need to stop hiding from their own problems.

I think Lucy Diamond captivated this so well and this book had me engrossed! I definitely recommend

I read this one a while ago and was convinced I'd posted a review… I was obviously so upset at finishing that it slipped my mind on that note…. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This was yet another wonderful, compelling and emotional read from one of my favorite authors Lucy Diamond.
About a family who lost a sister/daughter and the different ways they deal with this unbearable loss, and how eventually they learn to be a family again. As usual Lucy has written her characters so well, and I was drawn in immediately and emotionally invested in wanting the best for all of the characters.
This book moved me to tears on more than one occasion but I laughed hard at bits. I will always read a Lucy Diamond book and this has possibly become my favorite.
Thank-you to Netgalley for an arc in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
