I need this book in physical form, ASAP.

The graphics are great, the recipes are generally approachable, and overall this cocktail collection was exactly what was promised.

This was a fun burst of nostalgia with drinks on the side. Loved the run through toys, shows, and movies of the 90s that bring back all that freedom of childhood but now you get a drink to pair with it.

So much nostalgia packed into this colorful cocktail book! My only complaint was I had to download the PDF since it didn't work on my Kindle. I'll definitely be picking this one up in physical form when it's available! I love all the punny names and the creative concoctions! The brief descriptions and histories of the liquors was a great start to the book! I know a few people who'll be receiving this one as a gift!

The recipes sound really good and I love the names of the drinks. "Life Finds a Way" from Jurassic Park was probably my favorite. I am not a big drinker, but there are so many fun drinks that sound great. Would be perfect for a themed party.. The art is a lot of fun and perfect for a 90s themed recipe book.

4 stars.

I thought this was an interesting cocktail book. I love all of the 90s inspired cocktails from television shows to movies I saved out some the recipes and try them. I love the illustrations and the explanation of each drink. I highly recommend this cocktail book for those 90s babies who love a new cocktail to try.

Although I love a cocktail book, this book is definitely not for me. Love pictures of the finished product but the illustrations in this book were not my style. The drinks I tried were good but I could not get past the artwork, sadly.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this RC in exchange for an honest review.

Synopsis -
************

Whether you were born in the ’90s or are longing for them, this themed cocktail book by acclaimed bartender John deBary is the perfect ’90s nostalgia gift for yourself or anyone else. Plus, it features a foreword by Saved by the Bell star Tiffani Thiessen, certifying Saved by the Bellini as a true testament to the decade!

Get ready to stir up memories—and some hella delicious drinks. This cocktail book has 65+ awesome recipes that celebrate the decade’s greatest pop culture moments, from cassette tape tunes and video game consoles to after-school snacks and OMG-it’s-back-again fashion. Sip on the Gusher Crusher, down the Away Message, serve up the Heart of the Ocean, and finish it all with the Waterfall Chaser. Only in this ’90s book does TGIF stand for Thank God It’s Fizzy! Throwbacks to Pogs, the slap bracelet, Reebok Pumps, and even the ubiquitous “Got Milk?” ads are accompanied by spunky, funky pop-art illustrations that are so sick, you might want to tear out the pages to hang next to your Tiger Beat JTT posters. As if!

It’s time to dust off your ’90s party decorations, stock up your liquor cabinet, mix up something delicious, and take a walk down memory lane with a cocktail recipe book that truly is da bomb!

I am not a child of the 90s as that is when I started being a librarian, but I certainly remember the 90s and it unique clothing, accessories and TV shows. (I am more of a Twin Peaks kind of 90s girl than a teenybopper Saved by the Bell ... just give me a damn good cup of coffee and a slice of cheery pie!)

I love the drinks and the pop art illustrations were awesome - I have a friend who LOVED JTT (she was a teenager then) so I will probably surprise her with this book for her birthday as she will totally get it...and unlike me, she does take the more-than-once-a-decade drink I plan to figure out if I can get these in a non-alcoholic form that I can imbibe in on a regular basis.

Great book...booyah!

4 stars for a beverage cookbook that really reminds me of the 90s! + extra points for the pun!

This was just such a fun throwback of a drink recipe book! It reminded me of a bunch of fun TV shows I grew up watching in the late 90s an early 2000s. This was quite the walk down the adult beverage section of memory lane. I loved the fun drink illustrations throughout as well.

A colorful cocktail book that takes a deep look at some of the greatest pop culture moments of the ’90s. You’ll be Saved by the Bellini; you’ll sip on the Ziggah-Zig-Ah; you’ll throw back the Away Message; and you’ll wash it all down with the Waterfall Chaser. Be reminded of forgotten memories like the slap bracelet, Reebok pumps, and ‘Got Milk?’ ads. Read fun sidebars and enjoy the gorgeous illustrations. Recipes are organized into chapters such as music, video games, technology, geo-political world events, and television & anime.

Quite an interesting book about a lot of colorful different recipes for drinks. I am very interested to try a number of these. I got a nostalgic sense when reading some of these recipes.

"Saved by the Bellini "by John deBary is the ultimate '90s cocktail book that will make you feel like you're reliving your childhood in the best way possible. With over 65 recipes, this book is a must-have for anyone who loves cocktails and the '90s. Each recipe is inspired by iconic pop culture moments from the decade, like video game consoles, after-school snacks, and fashion trends. The clever names of the drinks alone will transport you back in time - who could resist trying a Gusher Crusher or a Heart of the Ocean?

The illustrations in Saved by the Bellini are simply amazing. They're pop art and colorful, and the witty captions make you want to hang them on your wall. The book also features a foreword by Saved by the Bell star Tiffani Thiessen, which just adds to the overall excitement of the book. The section based on TV, Books, and Movies is particularly delightful, with each drink paying homage to an iconic moment from the era. I personally can't wait to try the Absinthe-Crag inspired by Nickelodeon's green slime.

"Saved by the Bellini" is the perfect addition to any '90s-themed party or just for fun nights in. The book also includes a shelf stocking guide and tool guide, making it easy for anyone to make these delicious drinks. If you're feeling nostalgic for the '90s or just looking for some new cocktail recipes to try, "Saved by the Bellini" is definitely worth checking out.

This is a great compilation of drinks inspired by the 90s. These are not just inspired by popular food and drinks from the 90s but there are some even inspired by hairstyles, fashion, fashion icons, films and sitcoms. There are cocktails inspired by Dunkaroos and Capri Sun while having one inspired by frosted tips (aka the popular boy band hairstyle) all a few pages away from each other. There are even some far-fetched ones inspired by As Seen on TV and popular infomericals. This cocktail book is perfect for anyone who is nostalgic for the 90s.

So, so, SO FUN! Love the nostalgia factor. Add in the amazing illustrations and this is a 5 ⭐️ for me. Oh yeah and there’s drink recipes too. The intro to the drink was my favorite part.

This was the 90s nostalgia drink book (instead of cookbook) of a 90s baby's dream! It was full of great pop culture puns and references and amazing illustrations. Love, love, love!

I really enjoyed this. It brought back so many nostalgic memories of being a teenager in the 90s.
Its full of fun punny drink names like 'Life Finds a Whey' with each drink having a snippet about what inspired it.
The pictures are humerous and colourful.
There's a handy shelf stocking guide and tool guide.
I definitely recommend this to anyone who loves cocktails, the 90s or both.
It would be great to have on the shelf for a 90s throwback party.
I received an advance copy vis Netgalley. All opinions are my own.

With over 60 different 90's inspired cocktails, it is assumed that everyone who wants a taste of the 90s can find something to reminisce over. This book was full of bright colors and different nods to 90's nostalgia, from cocktails, inspired by toys, snacks, music, and more.
The illustrations in this book are so cool and could definitely be hung in someone's house. I love the colors and how 90s every detail felt.
The cocktails in this publication are definitely fun and full of variety but beginner-friendly by not having a million steps and components. The most ingredients I saw one recipe need was 9, but even with all those ingredients, the steps to create the cocktail were easily laid out.
While this may not be for people who want to make the most sophisticated and complex cocktails, this book is beginner-friendly and could be good for anyone looking to get into mixing their drinks with a fun theme, illustrations, and just the right amount of complexity.
