This was a very quick east “whodunnit?” I enjoyed it and got through it but I didn’t enjoy the way it was written, the text message style was a bold choice but I think it was a miss over all. This reminded me a little of PLL series but because it was so short it was more satisfying at the end.

this was very enjoyable and fast-paced. I loved how short and sweet it was while also remaining interesting and intriguing. Overall the characters were fun to see and learn about and the overall message was also so important. The character growth was amazing, especially in the epilogue!

First off, thank you to the publishers & Netgalley for my advance copy! I love YA books & the description sounded like something I would enjoy. Safe to say I was right!

Countdown is written mainly in text messages and is a very captivating mystery. I enjoyed this writing style and the story. 4.5/5 ⭐️

I understand that this is for a lower reading level and for YA but I couldn’t even read the first page without stopping the book. I don’t know anyone who could read like that and I teach middle school, the kids would stop reading too
