I have been waiting literal years for this book, and it was well worth it. Picking up right where volume one left off, we see out Cosmoknights as they're off to the next competition they need to enter to save another princess. This volume focuses a bit more on showing different povs, with the crew all having differing opinions on how to move forward and what their focus should be, and new character Scottie (a recently rescued princess) providing an opinion (that while she wasn't thrilled with being married off, her 'rescue' ended up hurting her planet, which was relying on the opportunities her marriage would bring) that the crew has a hard time dealing with. We also get an update on Tara and her whereabouts, and I'm excited to see where the plot is headed next. The characters were great, this volume did a lot to flesh them out and make them seem like individuals and not just a group of like-minded people. The art is fantastic, the fashion and setting designs in particular were amazing to see. Anyone who loved the first volume will love this next entry.
