Thanks for the review edition.

I listened to this multiple times with my daughter. I especially loved the music throughout and the transitions between stories. Such a sweet classic story.

Always a favorite children's read. Loved the narrator and that such a lovely story has become more accessible (although I do miss the artwork).

This is such a cute book and series! My kids thoroughly enjoyed it and had lots to say about it afterward. Lots of between the line lessons. An excellent edition To a childs or a teachers library.

I played this for my daughter before bed over the course of a week or so. She was engaged with the stories and kept asking for more even once we finished all of the stories. The music was a bit eerie but also sort of catchy, and she danced along to it. The narration was great. Would love for more of these stories to be made.

The narrator for this collection of Rainbow Fish tales was absolutely perfect. I adore the stories of Rainbow Fish and I was unaware how many there were! It was so nice to experience the new ones along with the classic ones I was familiar with.

There’s a “song” between each book and the title is given which is a good cleanser between stories.

My kids enjoyed it as well, which is good since they are the target audience and not me! They liked the narrator and they way she read the book to them. She made it fun - and that’s what I want for my kids when finding them books!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The audiobook, Tales of the Rainbow Fish, by Marcus Pfister, was such a cute book. I really enjoyed listening to the audio of this one. Thank you, NetGalley and the publisher, for providing me with an ARC audio in exchange for my honest review.

The audiobook "Rainbow Fish Finds his Way" includes ten stories about the beloved Rainbow Fish.. There is a catchy song repeated at the start and end of each story and sound effects and music along with the narration. The narrator does a nice job of varying her voice for the characters which will hold a little one's attention well. Each story is around ten minutes long and all have a great message of love and friendship.

My 6 and 8 year old sons are avid audiobook listeners. When they find an audiobook they love they request it on repeat in the car and at bedtime. Unfortunately, Tales of the Rainbow Fish was not a win for them. They listen to pictures books frequently and never really miss out on the pictures but with this one I think knowing Rainbow Fish and having seen the pictures they were missing that element, maybe? Also, they did not take to the musical interludes and wanted to skip through them.

The stories were cute, they liked them well enough but there hasn't been a request to re-listen to this book and they both gave it 3 stars out of 5.

This audiobook was so cute! I listened to it in the car with my two daughters (ages 4 and 7), and we all enjoyed the messages and the songs. This is a book that I will be downloading to audible soon because they regularly ask for it in the car now.

I'm sad to say there isn't a Goodreads listing for this audio edition of Marcus Pfister's class tales, so I'm posting my review here.

This is a compilation of ten stories featuring Rainbow Fish and their friends. They beautifully read and sung by Taylor Meskimen, complete with music!

I read these books to my kids when they were young, and I'm urging everyone with kids in their life to purchase this lovely edition!

This is a collection of Rainbow Fish books on audiobook. I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook, and I found the narrator to be clear and easy to listen to. I did not love the music before and after, but I can see that it will pull kids into the story. This is a great audiobook that you can play for your kids. I received an ARC of this auidobook. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.

Who doesn't love Rainbow Fish! I gave this a shot having had my own nostalgic memories of this old favorite character in mind, and even as an adult I was happy to live new adventures with Rainbow Fish and friends!

The audiobook was extremely well done, with fun music songs and background noises which enhanced the wonderful adventures and lessons learned in these tales. The tales are broken down into what I would call episodes, each beginning with a fun intro song and the title of the episode. During these sessions, Rainbow Fish is faced with new exciting experiences and on the way gains new friends who learn together that friendship and compassion are oh so important! The pacing of the stories was great and I can easily see this audiobook making short car rides much more fun for little ones.

Overall I'd highly recommend this book to peers who like a little nostalgia with their coffee and those with little ones alike! Wonderful tales full of important lessons for us all!

I loved reading The Rainbow Fish to my daughter when she was little and I love the fact that the Tales of the Rainbow Fish has been made into an audiobook. It gives kids the chance to read along while listening to the book. The singing between each story is fun and I think kids will love signing along with it.
Taylor Meskimen does a great job of narrating this collection of stories. I would listen to more books narrated by Taylor Meskimen.

This is a hard one to review for me as I don't have young kids anymore and I feel that this is really geared towards them. I like Pfister as an illustrator and, with an audio book, you miss out on the artwork which is a significant part of why I buy his books. But I wanted to give an audio book of a picture book a try. I liked that this was a collection of the rainbow fish books and that each story teaches a lesson, albeit some of the lessons were better than others. Not sure I would want to encourage my kiddo to go into the scary dark cave to find something he lost even if it turns out okay. But the stories generally aren't scary and have a good moral too. As the books progressed, I found myself thinking less about the pictures I wasn't seeing, although I have to admit that I am going to go pick up at least one of the books in a local library to see what the fish all look like. I need to know what Rainbow Fish looks like without his shiny scales!

My kids (who are older) did not love the musical interludes, and I found them a bit repetitive, but at the same time, if I were a parent using this for bedtime, I'd be able to break between books easily so that we didn't have story time last forever.

All in all, the book in audio format works well enough and the story moves along nicely, but maybe I'm not the right audience for it.

Thank you to NetGalley for this audio ARC. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I absolutely loved The Rainbow Fish when I was a child so when this came up to request I just had to. The nostalgia I felt when listening to these stories was everything. This is a book that I've read to my siblings when they were younger and it's one I definitely will continue to read to younger family members. Every tale in this had a lesson for the reader and I really enjoyed that element too.

I will say though I could have done without the beginning and ending song that all of the individual stories had.

Love this telling of Rainbow Fish. My daughters love listening to audiobooks in the car and this was the perfect distraction.

Beautifully narrated edition of a children's classic. I loved reading this book, to my kids when they were small. and this audio version is a wonderful complement to the printed book.

I absolutely loved this story as a kid. Now I get to share that with my daughter. She loved listening to it in the car. A super cool bonus is that they have music in between. I really loved this experience with my daughter and I hope we can find more books to share together.

I love the stories of Rainbow Fish and I thought this would be a great addition to my audio classroom library to play a story during transition time. The stories themselves are not bad. The music was really annoying. I’m confused why that was a choice that was made for this. The music was eerie feeling and didn’t feel like it matched with the Rainbow Fish stories. The music and sounds effects in the background were also distracting to the story. Very odd choices.
