This entertaining western has plenty of action, adventure, and romance to keep you turning the pages. Emily Martin travels by train to visit her brother, the owner of the local newspaper in Wylder, Wyoming. She’s strong-willed and self-confident, traits she’ll need in this frontier town. On the way, she briefly meets sexy cowboy Morgan Dodd and can’t stop thinking about him. When the train arrives in Wylder, Emily soon discovers her brother isn’t in town, and no one knows his whereabouts. Quick to make inquiries, she keeps running into Morgan. Is it more than a coincidence? If you love cowboys, you’re gonna love this story!

After breaking her engagement, Emily Martin heads to Wylder, Wyoming to visit her brother David, who owns the local newspaper. But David isn’t there when she arrives and the business is in shambles. Emily refuses to back down and is determined to get the paper back up and running for her brother until he returns. But she is a city girl and not used to the rough way of life in Wylder. She can’t even make her own tea!

Morgan Dodd’s new job and his new boss make him uneasy, but he is honor bound to do what he was hired to do. But he’ll do it his way. Especially when he meets the pretty newspaper woman, Emily. He and Emily end up ensnared in a nasty cattle rustling/land grabbing conflict that puts them both in danger.

This is a great addition to the Wylder series of stories. The secondary characters are almost as good as the main ones and the story reads well. This is a great historical with lots of interesting notes about frontier towns, voting rights, newspapers, and more and told in such as way as to not be boring. A really good Western romance.

Recommended.

Emily Martin heads to Wylder Wyoming after ending her engagement. She plans to help her brother run his newspaper. But her brother has mysteriously disappeared. Emily decides to stay and wait for his return. Gunman Morgan Dodd is town trying to earn money to move to California and settle down. But he is not liking the job. Something crooked is going on. Emily and Morgan met on the way to Wylder and there was a spark between them. The more they run into each other the stronger their feelings grow. Enjoyable western romance.
