This book was sent to me electronically by Netgalley for review. Thanks also to the publisher and author…two sisters and a mother. Suicide or murder? This thriller was written by a talented author. Red herrings…secrets…the protagonist tries to discover how her sister really died? They were not close…dysfunctional family…friends…love and romance… what will happen next? What happened to her sister? Would the ending be easy to discern…read and discover…a quick read.

Sawyer refuses to believe her sister, Willa, took her own life. Growing up together with an erratic single mother, the girls depended on each other. As adults, they may have drifted apart, but Sawyer knows that Willa wouldn’t commit suicide, regardless of the note the police found claiming otherwise. Sawyer believes her sister’s death is linked to the book she was working on, the book about a child that disappeared years ago. Sawyer follows the clues her sister left behind, traveling to the small town that had been rocked by the disappearance, sure she will uncover the truth, about the missing child, and her sister. Robards has written a compelling, intelligent thriller
