This is the first book I have read by Mark Shaw, so I wasn't sure what to expect. He has written previously about Dorothy Kilgallen and JFK, and this book appeared to tie them and Marilyn Monroe into a larger conspiracy involving The Mob and RFK. A significant portion of the book spoke about Shaw's background, particularly in law and journalism, and set the stage for the rest of the book where he laid out his arguments about how the three deaths were all related.

I found the book very interesting, and I thought that it had been well put together with a very compelling and coherent argument as to why the deaths were linked and how. I had actually never come across the RFK theory, and it did not sound outside the realms of possibility! I will definitely be reading further about Dorothy Kilgallen - I had actually never heard of her, and she sounds like an amazing person.

I listened to an audio of this book, narrated by Greg D. Barnett. I found him a very enjoyable narrator - his voice really suited the material, and he had a lovely tone.

I feel this book would be interesting to anyone who is into theories as to why Marilyn died or who orchestrated the JFK assassination.

I was drawn to this title because of the inclusion of Dorothy Kilgallen in this book about the cover-ups of the deaths of John F. Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe.

The first six chapters of the book focus solely on the author. I was very confused as to why so much time was spent on the development of Shaw's background, but as the book progressed I could see how this was necessary information.

I don't know if I truly believe everything in this book. Still, it is very intriguing to hear of the information obtained through public records and YouTube videos (therein lies some of my skepticism). Although I am not completely convinced of the connections between the suspicious deaths of the three - Monroe, Kennedy, and Kilgallen, it was very interesting to see how Shaw could make these assumptions and provide some reason for doubt.

Had to file my review under the hardcover version of the book. The audio isn't on Goodreads.

I really didn't enjoy this book. I'm all for new theories of the JFK assassination, but I've heard the mob theory before and the evidence just isn't there (despite that the author claims it's "overwhelming').

Wow! This is an incredibly well researched piece of investigative journalism linking the deaths of Marilyn Monroe, JFK, RFK and Dorothy Kilgallen. Fighting For Justice explores the cover ups, the corruption within The Warren Commission told through the eyes of a whistleblower, and the need for the American public to believe the “Oswald only” theory sold by the highest levels of government. The motives of each individual from LBJ to Joe Kennedy himself to have Lee Harvey Oswald take the fall as the lone gunman are examined and throughly analyzed. Why is this theory is important, and who had the most to gain - or loose - if an alternate truth is exposed?? This is not a book about a “magic bullet” killing JFK, but rather the inter workings at the highest levels of American government, the mob, the Kennedy family and Hollywood elite. Fighting For Justice is a must read!!
