I liked it, it was smoothly written and the vibes were on point. Just as the blurb says, this is something that fans of Donna Tartt's The Secret History could enjoy. Maybe the mystery wasn't the most compelling, but it still worked as a story on its own.

This was fine! It was well written, but it didn't really read like a mystery to me even though a disappearance was the center of the story. I also feel weird about taking real people and writing a novel about them where you add in incest and botch abortions etc etc with no evidence of those things ever happening.
