This is a great story for little ones. I enjoyed it!

Chip is a green truck who is delivering gifts to his friends. They are all well thought out, showing his care and consideration for his friends. I read this to my two youngest grandchildren before Christmas and they loved it. The story was told in rhyming lines and had a great cadence to read aloud. The illustrations were so cute and adorable. I loved all the animals in this book, and their reactions to Chip. The story has a great message about friendship that I loved. We talked about caring for others, gifts we could give to show we loved them, such as doing things for others, making things etc. We also talked about gratitude for things we get from others. We read this more than once, and my granddaughter read some of the pages to her brother. A cute little story that I recommend to families.

I loved Chip the Truck and would be happy to meet and travel with him, if only he was real. It was adorable the way he chose specific gifts for all of this friends which had a special meaning and it was absolutely what each of them needed, including a pillow for the hibernating bear, perfume for the skunk, and an icepick for the lobster!. Everyone is delighted with their practical gifts and the love shines through. Beautiful rhymes which my grandchildren read with me again and again.

Christmas stories for children have always been a favorite in our family. To be completely honest, we read them both in summer and winter.

Maybe because my little ones want Christmas to last all year.

That's exactly why I chose this picture book. The cutely illustrated cover immediately caught my eye.

And believe me, we really enjoyed it. My two younger children enjoyed the repeating lines and were delighted by the interesting illustrations. My son was overjoyed to have a green truck as the main character. That caused us a bit of a problem. Where can we find to buy such a toy now?

And my preschooler got a great chance to practice reading.

Easy to remember and interesting, this picture book makes a great gift for any young child.
Highly recommended for all parents with young children.

I love that Chip is happy taking the trouble to personally visit his friends with these thoughtful packages. Beep Beep he proclaims along his route until all his presents are shared.

This was such a cute and fun read for the kids at Thanksgiving! They loved guessing what animal would come next and what gift they would get. All together this was a really cute take on a Christmas book for children. It is similar to Little Blue Truck but more fun! The illustrations and rhyming throughout were much loved as well!

This simple little story embodies the meaning of Christmas: Giving!

The whole story is about Chip driving around on Christmas eve and delivering his carefully wrapped gifts to his friends, with no expectations for receiving a gift in return. How refreshing is that?

The book radiates feelings of happiness, love and the simple joy of giving to others.

It’s rare to find a book like that nowadays.

The bright primary colours and repetitive text will appeal to toddlers and pre-schoolers.

BUT, it’s also the repetitive text that makes it a wonderful choice for new readers. After repeated readings the pattern would be fairly easy to memorize. Most of the text variations are then supported by the illustrations.

Love this sweet book!

I read this book with my five year old daughter and she loved it, she is reading on her own so it was lovely that this was a book that she could read to me - it was a lovely family activity!

We loved the illustrations, they were lovely and really brought the story to life, it was a delightful story that had a wonderful end.

It was really well written and the story had a lovely flow to it and I loved the message of kindness.

It is 5 stars from me for this one - a fab Christmas read - very highly recommended!

Chip the truck has a special delivery for Christmas and it’s gifts for all of his best friends. This was utterly adorable and so sweet I loved the repetitiveness of the story how he did the same thing and the friends responded in the same way, makes it an easy fun book young kids will enjoy.

Chip was so cute and thoughtful getting the most perfect gift for each of his friends, making them happy and their lives better during the harsh winter season. This is a perfect read with your children it will help them think what the important people in their lives might need for Christmas.

Really cute book with really great illustrations and a very sweet story, a really great holiday read.

This is such a charming holiday story! My kids enjoyed watching Chip deliver very thoughtful gifts to his animal friends. The verse is repetitive and great for younger kids, and the illustrations are lovely. I think this would definitely appeal to other fans of Little Blue Truck.

This was such a cute Christmas-themed book. The story is about Chip the Truck delivering gifts to all of his friends for Christmas. Chip is so thoughtful with his gifts and all of his friends are happy with their presents. It's a great example of being generous with our friends through gift-giving. The illustrations are also adorable, My 3-year-old is a huge fan of trucks and really enjoyed the story.

This is a children's book that I read to my twin boys. I found this book to be cute and fun to read. I loved the pictures in this book, and I loved all the animals in this book. I loved the message in this book, and I really loved how the message was delivered. My boys loved this book too. I have brought a copy since reading the ARC copy I received.
