Thank you netgalley, dreamscape media and the author for the ALC in exchange for honest review. Fun read I'll need to circle back and read book 1 and catch up with the series. Loved the characters its easy to root for both fmc and mmc. 4.5/5

Mira Lyn Kelly's books are always a sizzling good time and Dirty Groom is not an exception. Liam and Stormy's romance was just fun to read and impossible to put down. I have not read other books in this series but they are not at the top of my TBR list.

A great hockey romance! Anyone who loves a series and wants a hockey themed romance this is a great one to pick up. I've read Mira Lyn Kelly before are really enjoyed her writing. It is steamy and has just enough tension to keep you going but not getting frustrated.

This book is about two people who met one night in Vegas and find themselves meeting back up one year later to handle some business (I think you know what that business is). This book has a mix of instant attraction while trying to resist which makes for a lot of tension and fun scenarios. It's dual POV with likable characters.

As someone who picked this up not knowing it was one in a series I really enjoyed this book. I might have missed a few references to other characters but I don't feel like it took away from the story at all. This will not be the last in this series that I will read and I think I would have enjoyed it more with having read the series. Anyone looking for a hockey romance heavy on the romance with just hints of spots you will enjoy this series.

This was a really quick listen. I enjoyed the story and the spice. I love a fake marriage trope... Fresh off their own heart break, Stormy and Liam meet in a bar on Christmas Eve. They meet in a Vegas bar and after a night of flirting and drinking they decide to get married. The next morning Stormy leaves and disappears from Liam's life without any way to contact each other, because she gave a fake name. One year later, they meet in the airport and sparks fly. Circumstances come about and they decide to make their fake marriage, real at least for their family. Though they initially decided to not make things physical, they of course sleep together, in some very spicy scenes and then just keep doing it. Feelings grow and they have to decide whether to make this marriage real or walk away. I keep waiting for the day a sexy gorgeous hockey player wants to fake marry me, to save me from getting hurt in a bad relationship and the attraction grows until we must have very hot and steamy sex over and over...until then I would gladly read this book and just pretend its me.

Thank you Netgalley and Dreamscape Media for this audiobook arc.

I enjoyed this hockey, marriage of convenience book from Mira Lynn Kelly. Really enjoyed Stormy and Diesel’s romance and loved the Slayers hockey team. I have some books in the series but this was the first one I read. It’s funny and steamy. Will definitely continue with the series. Stormy and Diesel had tons of chemistry. The team aspect stole the show for me, I really enjoyed Stormy’s narrator especially. Really glad I got this audiobook. This book is getting 4 stars from me.

This is the first book of Ms. Kelly's that I have read so going into this book and series at the middle I was unsure of what to expect. In the end I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this book and series.

In this book we meet Liam. He's a bit of a loaner and professional hockey player. He goes to Vegas to forget his troubles where he meets up with Stormy in a bar and after many drinks the pair decides to get married but never to go looking for the other after they part ways after their wedding of convenience.

Enter Stormy. A runaway bride who has just discovered that her childhood boyfriend that she was supposed to marry has been cheating on her when she walks in on him and someone else. She goes to Vegas to forget her problems and meets Liam where she impulsively decides to marry a stranger and then walk away from him. What she does not expect is to have him look for her a year later and give their sham marriage a try.

This story where it is part of a series can be definitely read as a standalone book. It is told from dual POV making it easy to relate to what is going on with the characters. I thought that this was a well written book that moved along well and did not leave me lost especially since I came into this series so late.

Overall, this was a great read that I enjoyed from start to finish as we watch this pair fall in love and hope that they get their HEA. I would recommend this book to others.

Thank you Net Galley for an audio ARC of Dirty Groom. This was unexpectedly good. This is a new to me author. The cover speaks of lots of steam, but it was just right. The storyline was good and the narrator did a great job.

Marriage of Convenience
Get it out of our system
Light Miscommunication trope
Light groveling
MMC Hockey player

This story ended up being pretty darn cute.

Listened to this via audiobook. Both voice actors are talented. Love the deep voice of the mmc, was perfect for that character. Was not a fan of his version of the female voice. It did grow on me and was less of an issue as the story went on. The female voice actress is a fav of mine.

I have never read a fake marriage book, but this one was pretty good! Liam and Stormy just wanted to not have to be hurt again, but of course, that’s when they get hurt the most. “I won’t lie to you, but I will lie for you.”
