All 12 stories in this collection or in one way or another related to Japanese folktales. I love folktales and have bread thousands of pages of them but I think the strangest story I’ve ever read what’s the one in this book about the man whose neck can stretch for miles. I also like the way they reference other stories in the book I found every story in this collection interesting and worth reading on its own much less and a great collection of other stories. I liked both the narrators and thought they did a wonderful job and gave stellar performances I always say a narrator can make a break in audiobook and these two professionals just added that text to each character that only made it better. This is really a great audiobook and if you love anthologies folklore old wives tales or anything to do with the weird an abnormal then you’ll love this audiobook its hours of entertainment he would not want to press pause on. I received this book from NetGalley and the publisher but I am leaving this review voluntarily please forgive any mistakes as I am blind and dictate my review.
