When a well-known cookery competition judge is murdered, everyone on the show is a suspect and this well-developed plot keeps you guessing until the very end. Highly entertaining read!

If you’re a fan of murder mysteries and The Great British Bake Off, then this is the perfect book for you!

I really enjoyed listening to this one! There were so many twists and turns, that I kept going back and forth on deciding who I thought the culprit was.

It was definitely interesting how each person definitely could’ve potentially been the culprit, and you’re definitely nudged along to believe it was specific people…but of course you know it can’t be them, so you start trying to wreck your brain on who ACTUALLY is to blame.

Overall, this was definitely fun. It followed the classic stereotypes of what I expect from murder mysteries, kept me taking wild guesses the whole time, and had me questioning myself at every turn. It’s a good thing I’m not an actual detective cause lord knows I’d be all over the place with the clues at hand!

Ostensibly, Francesca Eve is a competitor in a Christmas Baking competition being held at Beresford Hall. But she’s doing double duty, investigating threats against presenter/judge Miranda Appleby while simultaneously baking her heart out. When Miranda is murdered, things get serious, fast. Fran learns that Miranda had more than a few enemies, so she has plenty of suspects. This is a delightful holiday cozy mystery for fans of the Great British Bakeoff
