i want to start off by saying i don’t typically like second chance romances so i think that strongly affected my opinion of this book. i really liked the beginning of this book and i also loved the characters. unfortunately, i really wasn’t a fan of the ‘soulmate reunited’ thing because i feel like towards the end it didn’t add anything to the story. i also hate how things ended with the company. i wish we could’ve seen the characters develop throughout the story and i also feel like the story was very very predictable. miscommunication was constantly an issue in this book which i def didn’t enjoy reading about. overall, i think this book was still pretty good but it definitely could be better.

Cute and quick second chance romance. When Tayla blows her savings on a super reliable (and super expensive!) soulmate matching service, she is matched with the ex-boyfriend who broke her heart 6 years earlier. Enter Soulmate Simon, the heart breaker. Of course, he has his explanations for why he broke up with her that night 6 years earlier when he had planned to propose. But will Tayla listen to him? He is likeable, despite sometimes being his own worst enemy, and I enjoyed watching them find their way back to each other. Fun read!

Okay guys hear me out, I am starting to become a sucker for a second chance romance.
The love lost vibe? It's always been you? Spice? I'll always find my way back to you type of book. This book is about soulmates and how your perfect match may have been the one to break you in the first place.

The quote that gave me butterflies?
"Our gazes lock, and the determination in hers tells me it’s going to be an uphill battle to win her back. She’s always been stubborn. No problem. My endurance is going to surprise her. I grin, and she scowls."

HE"S BEEN WAITING AND PINING FOR HER?! Yes pls.

Nothing negative to say about this book, genuinely good read, and it was light hearted enough to get ,e out of a slump.

I really wanted to love this book, I just didn’t. It was an okay, easy to read one though if you’re in the mood for something light and quick!

Just wow. Who would think a computer would match with the man who broke your heart six years earlier.

This is story was so relatable about a second chance romance. How do you open up again to the man who hurt you. And when life gives you a second chance don’t waste it.

Watching Tyla and Simon navigate their past with the people they are today was so sweet and heartwarming

A second chance romance after two past lovers are reunited by a high profile dating site that claims to match you with your true soulmate.
Tayla, the main character surrounded by friends in love, signs up for Soulmates Reunited, a dating site that is going to pair her with her one true soulmate. After matching her with Simon, her serious ex-boyfriend that broke up with her in a fancy restaurant with all the signs point towards a proposal, Tayla just wants her money back.
This book had some super sweet moments with rekindled love, spicy scenes, and a bit of a one bed trope.
There were some moments I thought dragged a bit, and I wish the side characters were a bit more developed to create a more authentic world.

I thought it was going to be a kind of fluffy rom-com but it actually has more going on.

Tayla pays a lot of money for a matching service and is disappointed (to say the least) when she's matched with an ex that broke her heart when she thought he was going to propose. She intends to move on and forget about the match but wants her money back.

Simon shows up at her veterinary clinic and promises to help her get the money back but wants a chance a first.

There was a lot going on with Simon and Tayla, and the more time they spend together, the more comes to light. There's also a recurring theme of trust, second chances, and soul mates.

The ending was very cute.

I received a copy from the publisher via NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.

I am typically not a huge fan of second chance romances however the plot line for this book was unique and drew me right in! I like the exploration of the "soulmate" idea as it opens a lot of conversation and gets the reader thinking. I thoroughly enjoyed the amount of angst that the romance entailed, as this is one of my favourite kinds of romances to read!! I also enjoyed how they didn't just magically get back together as happens in a lot of romances, there was proper time given to the rekindling of the romance! While I didn't always agree with the choices that the characters made they were still both very enjoyable and interesting to read. This book was heartwarming and adorable and left me with a smile on my face!

I love a good second chance romance. This story was very unique with its matchmaking premise, definitely a memorable twist on a familiar trope. The chemistry and tension were spot on between the hero and heroine. Very satisfying and endearing ending. An enjoyable romantic read

This was an enjoyable second-chance romance. The first half of the book was unputdownable. I thought the premise of a matchmaking software was so fascinating. How horrible would it be to find out the ex-boyfriend you hate is your soulmate! As the story went on, I started to get frustrated with the characters. I believe a lot of their problems would have been solved if they would have just communicated with each other. Everything does get resolved, and I have to admit, the ending was adorable! I really liked the dual-POVs, so I could get into each of our MC's heads. Overall, a very sweet love story!

Three stars from me!

Sweet little romance. I loved Simon. Tayla was okay. There were parts that really dragged.

This book destroyed me in the best way possible. I loved Simon and Tayla. I loved that the book went back and forth between their points of views and how each character seemed to have their own feel. Those last few chapters were a doozy though. I swear I felt like it broke my heart in half every time I read Simon’s side. The book was a little spicy but nothing too graphic. I thought it was a perfect balance. The character of Jada made me highly uncomfortable but I’m sure that was the point. I didn’t detract from the story though. Otherwise, very well written book. Highly recommended!

RATING - 3.5 Stars

Having recently discovered that I enjoy second-chance romance novels, I thought I would give this one a chance. While in theory there was nothing wrong with this book, it took me about a week to get through it. I didn't feel the deep pull I normally do towards stories.

I had a hard time connecting with Tayla - I think that even though she is written as a strong character, she actually very stuck in her head and maybe thinks too highly of herself... I'm not sure, but I really didn't like her. Simon on the other hand I had a soft spot for almost immediately. Maybe it also had something to do with Tayla using Simon for his body... I've never been big on that idea in books so it just hit wrong.

Overall though, this book had it's sweet moments and it's heartbreaking moments. But it isn't a re-read for me.

I really enjoyed this! It explores that idea that maybe your ex is your soulmate.

Tayla decided to take a chance on a matching making software to see if her romance luck would turnaround, but it leads to disaster when she’s matched with her ex fiancé. Simon sees this as his second chance.

The amount of groveling was perfect! But, it missed with Simon being willing to do everything to win her back EXCEPT for telling her the full truth. The add of this felt frustrating and would’ve been better without it.

A cute and sexy rom-com that explores the notions of soulmates and whether someone can be your perfect match but also the person who broke your heart into a million pieces. Will the second time around be the one?

This is my 2nd attempt of restoring my faith in romance book this year. I used to live in romance books, and then one day, boom! I felt like i know this story everytime i took a romance book. It was an exhausting process for me,finishing a book. This though, made me want to read another romance book. Not that it wasn’t predictable but still was fun to read.

I absolutely adored this book!

"Miss Matched" was very similar to "The Soulmate Equation" by Christina Lauren, which I also loved. This story does what Lauren's does not in that the two people matched as soulmates are exes whose breakup was abrupt and acrimonious.

I love a smart, strong female lead, and matching her with her ex, a soft yet strong partner, created the perfect second chance romance. The depictions of grief and mental illness were handled sensitively and portrayed so well.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for a digital copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinions.

Thank you to Wattpad WEBTOON Book Group, NetGalley & Wendy Million for giving me this arc in exchange for an honest review.
I really enjoyed this book. I was absolutely hooked from the very first page.
This is a second chance romance with forced proximity, fake dating and bed sharing. All of which I LOVE.
I really enjoyed how strong and courageous Tayla was. She didn't forget how hurt Simon made her and she made sure to remind him of her worth.
Simon showing Tayla how much he loves her and fighting for her was adorable.
The steam in this book was pretty mild but it still had some good moments that made me blush.

Overall this book was heartwarming, cute, and funny, I definitely recommend it to anyone that wants a good second chance romance!

I am typically not a fan of the second chance romance troops. So this has an uphill battle to climb. For their part, I liked the characters in the story. One thing I didn’t like was soulmates reunited or how they were worked into the story.

This is a really solid entry into the 'second chance romance' trope. Simon and Tayla are charming, even if I didn't quite agree with Tayla giving Simon another chance. There were so many reasons for her to choose not to forgive him and, imo, it felt a little bit dishonest for them to move forward the way they did. But I am, admittedly, a bit of a sucker for unnecessary angst, so that's really an issue with me rather than the book. It's charming and it's sweet, and parts of this had me giggling and twirling my hair around my finger -- it's SWEET, and the main couple really do work together (even if I would've liked a bit more drama!)

Million also really understands the genre and what people want out of it. It also helps that her writing is believable and pretty solid!

3.5/5, bumped to 4
