This book was adorable and had a fun storyline to it. The illustrations were cute and enjoyable. The story was just ok, not my favorite but still adorable.

Thanks to Edelweiss & NetGalley for the ARCs!

I wanted to like this book. I love the idea. Kid’s books normally sweep me up into another world and I truly enjoy diving in and being taken on an adventure. This book I could not really get into the characters. The plot was so slow. It took so long to get to the point where anything was really happening. Rondo is extremely off putting as a character. He just comes of as beyond standoffish, and not willing to work with those around him. Including his own family. Which I realize is part of the plotline is him realizing that those around him aren’t always out to get him or bother him, but they just want to connect on some level. Him realizing that came so late in the book it just was not as powerful of a realization as it could have been. Will kids enjoy this book, I would say that yes some would but I don’t know that this will be my top recommendation once it is released.
Thank you so much to Macmillion Children’s Publishing and Netgalley for allowing me to read an advance copy of this title.

A cute mystery surrounding the disappearance of celebrity dogs! Rando is starting to lonely, especially with his siblings ignoring him or mad at him. When celebrity dogs start disappearing, he decides to investigate with the help of the new kid in town! A great mystery for those who love dogs!
