What a fun and unique concept! I dived into this and flew through it. I couldn't put it down. I needed to know what would happen next and was so surprised at every turn. I saw that this is the third book in a "series" and I can't wait to go back and read the rest!

I felw through this in a day
After reading the previous titles, I had high hopes and I wasn't disappointed. I was hooked from the start and loved the cat and mouse with plenty red herrings twists and turns. It's so well written that it's impossible not to be drawn in. The dual timelines are cleverly plotted out so you don't even realise just what's going on until the big reveals. I didn't for a second guess where this one was going. Absolutely recommend

I have read the previous two books by this author and they were fantastic. This was no different it was thrilling and exciting just like the other two.

The main character Anna is living is enjoying her life with her husband and a job she loves a life that she has worked hard for after a difficult childhood. Then the police pay her a visit to talk about a serial killer who they have identified as her brother. Anna then has to enter a game that she did not want to have to play again with her brother and the end could be deadly.

I will definitely be recommending this thriller it was an excellent read with a fantastic jaw dropping ending. Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

After reading and loving the Serial Killer's Wife and the Serial Killer's Daughter, I was so excited to read Alice Hunter's newest book. This book centers around Anna who finds out her younger brother Henry has killed five women in the last three years on two specific dates. This leads to a cat and mouse game between Anna and Henry as one the dates is approaching leaving Anna in a race against time to prevent another murder.

The overall premise of this book was really interesting and I loved the plot twist at the end. However I did find the dual timelines incredibly annoying at times and it felt like we as the reader were left in the dark about what was happening up until the last 20% of the book. Despite the book being written in first person, the main character's narration is extremely unreliable and she appears evasive which made the reading experience quite frustrating. Upon finishing the book, both of these choices make sense but I found they made the book quite difficult to get through.

Overall, I love this series however this book fell slightly flat for me.

I really enjoyed the previous books, so was super excited to read this one.
I was drawn in straight away and raced through it in almost one sitting.
It’s another great crime thriller with plenty of twists throughout and a fabulous ending.

Having read all of Ms Hunters books, this one was a must for me. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. Each of her books are a comfortable and easy read and this was no different. The characters are extremely well fleshed out leaving a lot to like as well as the odd nagging doubt that something isn’t quite what it seems.

The main character "Anna" is living an idyllic life when police pay her a visit to talk about some murdered women and the fact that her brother may be involved. A deadly game called ‘The Hunt’ ensues and it’s on. Between the police, the clues left and random dates, the mysteries must be solved.

Written well. Loved every second of this. Finished it in 36 hours. And the twist…….nope! Didn’t see that coming!

Anna and Kirsty are friends who live in a children's home. Their brother's also live there. Anna's younger brother is bullied, and loves to play a game called The Hunt with her.making up and solving riddles to find an item.
Years later, Anna is married, has a good job as a teacher, and is happy.
Then the police appear at her door needing her help to find Henry, who they believe is a serial killer. He kills on two dates, her birthday and another day, that she denies knowing the significance of.
She does her own investigative work solving the clues Henry is leaving for her. What she discovers is life changing, her past comes back to haunt her. The secret that she and Henry vowed to keep is in danger of being exposed to the world.

A riveting book. It just kept me on the edge of my seat constantly.
The twist at the end is mind blowing! I definitely recommend.

This talented and gifted author has written a cannot put down novel. Mystery and intrigue…murder and mayhem…the main character is told by the police that her estranged brother is a murderer. She believes them and becomes concerned for her life. In the meantime, her life implodes. She loses her job as a teacher and her marriage dissolves. Chaos ensues. Red herrings make this story almost impossible to figure out. There is a point, late in the book, when the answers become obvious. This book was sent to me electronically by Netgalley for review. Thanks to the publisher and the author.

As soon as I saw this I instantly downloaded it and read it in one sitting. Anna Price had a tough start in life growing up in a care home with her brother. When DI Walker knocks on her door claiming her brother is a serial killer and he needs her help to stop him. Her world around her collapses when everything goes horribly wrong.

I absolutely loved the two previous books by Alice and this one is just as thrilling and exciting. You don't need to have read the previous books they are all standalone reads. I loved the fast pace of the storyline and how it all played out. There is a massive plot twist that had me thinking about this long after I'd finished reading. I absolutely loved this book and I'm already looking forward to reading the next book by Alice
