Delaney Morran is surprised to inherit a tow truck from her late dad. A girly woman with a love of high-heeled shoes, Delaney is determined to make her place in this male-dominated business. But when the first car she hauls contains the body of her jerk ex-boyfriend in the trunk, Delaney becomes the prime suspect of the police in Spruce Ridge, Colorado. Online news & rumors cause her tow truck business to dry up. An interesting premise but I had trouble with this book. Delaney blunders her way in successfully getting new tows & investigating the crime.

I received a digital ARC from Netgalley and Wild Rose Press. All opinions are my own.

I honestly found the description interesting but not sure if I would enjoy it. I loved it Delaney is so much fun and just jumps into the towing business not knowing anything. She unfortunately tows a car with a dead body that happens to be her ex boyfriend. I loved the characters and mystery in this one. I will be looking forward to more in the series.

When Delaney inherits her fathers tow truck she doesn't know what to think as she has not seen or heard from him since she was a child. She decides to try and make a go of it, but it seems one disaster after another is determined to make her loose the business.
This book was interesting and well written, I liked the fact that the author put Delaney in a predominantly male profession and did not try to change her completely to fit the role. The problems I had with the book was at times Delaney was extremely immature and some of the situations had her doing stupid things it seemed just for the sake of stupidity and angst. I did not see that these situations furthered the story at all. All in all an ok book, but I don't know that I will be reading the next one.

Thank you NetGalley, Karen C. Whalen and The Wild Rose Press, Inc for the copy of Toes on the Dash. This is my personal review.
This book was great from beginning to end. I just could not pass on a mystery that features a shoe fanatic that inherits a tow truck business from her dad.
I really had no knowledge of how to use a tow truck, but I sure learned right along Delaney as Tanner who owns his own towing company.
And of course, there had to be big bump in her first towing job when a dead body was found in the car she towed. And to make it even more interesting the dead body was nonother than her ex- boyfriend.
This pointed a finger right at her as the top suspect.
This new series, The Tow Truck Murder Mysteries is going to be a great series to read. I can’t wait for the book to come out.

Good book! This book was a cutesy read but with some grit! It had suspense, intrigue, action, murder, mystery, romance and a bit of a who done it and some great sleuthing work! I did enjoy reading this book and watching the main female character kind of come into her own! It was a cute read! I will definitely recommend reading this book as it was well worth reading! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!
