A beautiful romance in the stars, Star Eaters builds a lovely and simple sci-fi world. Star Eaters is a hi-lo novel (high-interest accessible) and I think perfectly encapsulated that. The hi-lo novels from Orca are meant to be easily accessible stories written for teens in interesting genres. They are a great way for teens who don't have a super high reading comprehension to get into genres like Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Thrillers, etc. without being intimidated by the length or depth of those stories.

Star Eaters by Brooke Carter is a wonderful read, whimsical to its final page. I highly recommend checking out this novel, as well as many of the other hi-lo novels published by Orca.
